Fulfilling and yummy breakfast!!! Pancakes are delicious and you need to try their biscuits too! Great prices with a large selection of menu items. Their service was great too; very friendly staff! Even chatted with the Benson locals for a bit. I'll definitely be stopping here again.

My daughter and I SHARED a Bacon Avocado Burger, sweet potato fries, and regular fries. We enjoyed every morsel and it was just what I was craving. We were stopping in Benson on a road trip and this cafe/restaurant was recommended the hotel employees where we stayed. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The quantity of food was enough for me and my daughter without ending up with leftover--all for about $13!!!

My husband and I heard great things about this restaurant, so we decided to check it out after a visit to Kartchner Caverns. I was craving a burger, so I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. I was not disappointed! Within a few minutes I was presented with a juicy burger topped with two thick cut slices of bacon and plenty of melted cheddar cheese. The veggies for my burger were all fresh and crisp. The sweet potato fries were plentiful and right out of the fryer...no skimping here. I will definitely be back!!

The Bob cat burger was delicious! It's a 1/2 lbs. Burger topped with green chillies. The French fries are the kind that are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The homemade chilli was great with onion and cheese & a *thumbs up* to their fried pickle spears! The atmosphere inside of the diner feels very welcoming, along with the waitresses.

It's the place to eat in Benson of you're driving through. Food is good and fresh, and the service has been quick and friendly. My wife and I have come a few times, and came back after trying the other cafes in the town.

Overall pretty good stuff. Was there for the prime rib special Saturday. The reason for the four versus five stars is that rare prime rib was ordered and med - rare was served. The wait staff are excellent. I saw a problem customer handled with professionalism. Let's just say the prime rib was good and she ended up thinking chicken strips were better. Final thing is she was happy. I had the rib eye. Seasoned well with a large baked potato. The potato came with the fixings. The lady had a Phillie Cheesesteak and was pleasantly surprised. She has a definite opinion on her cheesesteaks, she ate it all. The other person in our party had the prime rib and wiped the plate clean. Prices are good with a neen here a long time feel. Menu is varied with a lot of selection. The meats are done on a grill. The pies looked great, I had too much for dinner to eat one. I don't live in Benson just visit family who do. This is our second time and will return.

MUST STOP! Everything is AMAZING! Ambiance is relaxing and welcoming! Service is genuine! Food is magical! We enjoyed everything we ordered. Cooked to perfection! Will drive from Tucson again just to eat here so we can try more items on their menu! Glad we asked a local where to eat! This place was highly recommended and we highly recommend dining here! Was RVing in St. David, asked where was a good place for breakfast. Horseshoe Cafe was the answer. WOW!!!! went back 3 mornings each time a different breakfast, also had lunch there 2 times. Good food, and good service. Recommend it without reservation.

Outstanding food....anything you order is absolutely great. ,Staff is friendly, attentive and fast. Every plate is home made....from entrees to deserts. Prices are low too. Everything at this rest really is amazing.

We really liked this place. Took the family after getting of the train and the food was good as your grandmas. One truly special piece was their homemade pies. I had the coconut creme...just outstanding! This is right off the interstate and you will enjoy the sit down dinner.

Cowboy diner. The food is very good (5 for diner food). The service leaves something to be desired (3 for service) for an average of 4. Bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado = excellent. Burgers = excellent. Onion Rings = very good. Sweet Potato Fries = excellent. Service, plan on a leisurely lunch. The wait staff prioritizes just about everything from filling the napkin reserve behind the counter to busing tables (when it's not particularly crowded) ahead of getting your food from the kitchen pass-thru to your table. I've eaten at the Horse Shoe three times in the last month passing through Benson. Each time the food was great but the place fell down on service ... for the reason listed above. Just my opinion BUT if they reorganized their priorities to getting the food to the table first and then everything else I'd be a lot happier. As it is, I recommend the place and will stop again.

Excellent food and friendly service. The place is so busy and they are under staffed but we are looking forward to our next visit. The salsa is the best we have tasted and we have tasted a lot of salsa. Plan on a leisurely meal.

Good food with huge portions. The iced tea was awesome and had plenty of ice. Had a giggle watching a waitress deal with a regular who acted a lot like my Grandpa does. Definately did not leave hungry.

A quaint cowboy themed diner, it was busy at lunch time. We got burgers. The actual patty was seasoned well. Everything else was in the low mediocre end. It was a better experience than the fast food chains available.
