Came for lunch. Ordered #7, sesame chicken with white rice and egg roll. They brought me some pile of vegetables covered with peanuts. I requested correct meal with rice and egg roll. Messed up again and brought my low mein instead of egg roll.

Duck Fried Rice! That's all I have to say.... Not really. The food is good. The pork lo mien is pretty tasty and leaves that porky greasy taste that I love! The "Arizona Wings" are a garlic based delight. It's a little over priced and it takes a little longer than it should to get the food, but it's worth it in my opinion. There are better places, but if you're looking for quality "fast food" Chinese, this is the place to go. Better than Panda Express. The Happy Family is an affordable mean that mixes many different meats. The sauce is good and the price is great. The egg rolls are OK, but if you're an East Coaster you already know that no egg rolls really are made as good as they are East of the Mississippi. Yeah, the mustard is in packets, like everywhere else. Deal with it.

I haven't ate here in years and I finally ate here for lunch today. I had the lunch special #20 Mongolian Beef and my boyfriend had the #10 Orange Chicken. My Mongolian Beef was very salty and the egg roll seem old and not fresh at all. I ate a little but had to throw the rest away because it was too salty. Ughh wast of money!!! My boyfriend Orange chicken was over cook and his egg roll was also old and not fresh. I've been craving New Wok and I'm so DISAPPOINTED!!! I won't be going back.. No thank you!!

Visiting from California & came here with my grandfather tonight, he loves the place. He orders the same thing every time, shrimp low mein. I had the honey sesame chicken, both were very good. The waitress was very friendly, she even recognized my grandfather as a regular and new what he wanted to order. Seems most their orders are take-out, I don't know why, there's plenty of space..it's clean..waiters are friendly.

Place was clean for the most part. Paid $20 for two Dinner meals and two drinks. We had the Beef & Broccoli and the Garlic Chicken. Both meals were good but not great. Both the Beef and Chicken had a different texture almost like it was imitation. Service was a little wanting as well. We got what we paid for and even that seemed a little too generous. Over all: Fair

Very friendly staff. The Moo goo gai pan is sooo delicious. And don't get me started on the Won TON soup. So freaking good. And the sizes are big, especially for the price. I love their homemade pepper and oil melody for the soup. And I must have an egg roll everytime I visit. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because I have tried a couple other menu items that I could totally pass on for the rest of my life

Tried this place for the first time today! I loved it I got the Mongolian beef lunch special. They are not stingy with the portions I enough for lunch tomorrow. The meT was juicy, tender, and the perfect amount of spicy. Did mention it was only $6 plus tax? You get a lot of food for not a lot of money. Another positive was that the service was fast and friendly! Most def coming back!

I wasn't disappointed at all. The only complaint I had was the fried rice. I just wasn't a fan, but the place was not crowded, the service was great and very friendly.

Good and fast... food Some coworkers and I rely on this place as a regular standby for Chinese food. Portions are reasonably large and the dishes are flavorful. All things being relative in the West Valley, this place is top-five for Chinese restaurants. Not a haute eatery by any means. More like a side diner you would find in a large city. The ladies who run the place and nice and quick. The Mongolian Beef is my and a coworker's go-to dish. Lunch Special with a soda will run you about $11 with tip.

scam of a place menu has one price but they ring you up just a little more not so much you will notice. Then when you get home you look at your recite and realize you have been overcharged but not to the point that it is worth going back up there for.

I love it! I ate here 6 years ago, and it was terrible. I just ordered yesterday to give it anothermshot, and they won me! the noodles were yummu, as well as the beef and broccoli. the shrimp fried rice was mediocre. Not enough shrimp. New Asain Star is the place to go for shrimp fried rice, or any fried rice.

My husband and I went in for lunch. I guess it should of been a red flag that the place was empty I mean there's a lot of businesses around. Your better off going to Panda Express on Avondale Blvd and Van Buren.

The food here is pretty good. I ordered the Mongolian beef and it was delicious. It came in a pretty large serving, at least the "meal"version did. Only bad thing is that It's located next to a smoke shop, not the best place to bring a family. I recommend ordering take out if you eat here.

It was ok, we will mostly likely not go again. We placed an order for take out. Pork Foo Young and Sesame Chicken. The egg in the foo young was very dry and the sauce was kinda of tasteless. The Sesame Chicken was the usual fried chicken in honey sauce, it was ok. The rice was moist and hot.

Located in a little strip mall in Avondale in the Fry's parking lot this is the only Chinese food place that could be considered a mom and pop. But its not. First of all this place is over priced. Its about 9.75-8.75 for a dinner combo and you don't get soup with the meal that was my first complaint. The second was they skimp out on the meat in the dish and load you up with plain fried rice (its just soy sauce rice basically) and plain soba noodles. The crab puffs were good the egg roll was OK. I had the garlic chicken which was nothing special. It had that fake brown sauce which had no hint of garlic. I cant believe that these places don't chop fresh garlic into their meals. Overall I would say avoid this one. The food is about average and the service is too. One other thing I asked for hot mustard and yes they brought me out packets like you would find at a fast food place. Also my grandma asked for lemon for their water and they brought out a lemon packet for that too. They said they had no fresh lemons :( that pretty much sums it up.

Delicious food from a local place. The staff are friendly and the portions are huge. Highly recommend if you have a hankering for chinese food at a good price.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
