Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

My favorite pizza in NWA! The toppings are piled and quite tasty. Salads are served piled of mozz cheese and shrimp with a paper plate. For those who know Tim's in the area, this is just a step above but quite similar. Pitchers of beer, the old jukebox in the corner and loud enough that even the rowdiest kids don't bother. If you go on a Friday or Sat night, be prepared to stand in the doorway until a table opens up. Its a happening place on the weekends

We went to Guido's for lunch, ordered a medium, 8 slices for two. A small would have sufficed. It had Canadian bacon as a topping, not the typical slices, but a ground topping. Lots of it, very salty. Reasonable prices.

I went to Guidos last night with my husband and young son for dinner. We got there just before the dinner rush at 6pm and had open availability for seating. A waitress came and took our drink order and let us look over the menu. We decided on a large pizza, and it was definitely large enough for all of us. The pizza was great, it was only $14 and had plenty of pepperonis, cheese, and sauce. As soon as we got our pizza, a group of 20 came in with no reservation and took over the entire dining area. Our booth was blocked in by screaming brats that wouldn't sit down and behave. The waitress eventually came over and told us our table number so we could check out, because she couldn't access our table. We had to climb over kids to get out of our table to get a box and pay. The pizza was good, but the experience with being abandoned because of the party of twenty will need to take away a star. I would hope that next time either the family, or even the waitress would find a better way to ensure that all tables are accessible if a large party dines in.

Guido's is a NWA staple. Their pizza is good...lot of toppings and very filling. Salads and sandwiches are good as well. Seems like the pizza has been a lot greasier the last few times I've been there, so I've avoided it. Overall, if you're in the area, I'd say that Guido's is definitely worth trying out, but there are a lot of good pizza options in NWA and I'd say that Guidos is about mid-way down the list.

Solid pizza. Nothing special. Reasonably priced as well. This is one of those local legends that didn't pan out to be as good as I thought it would be. It's not horrible. It's actually pretty good. It's one of my go-to pizza places simply because it's close. If you grew up with it, it's probably the best pizza you think you've had. If you're not from the area, it's merely pretty good. It's classic Italian-American style pizza, and not particularly distinguished at that. It's thin crust, but not NY style thin. It has a good amount of toppings on it, but the toppings are only average quality. In short, it's better than Pizza Hut or Domino's, but it's not the best you'll find, even in Northwest Arkansas.

Nice place to get a pizza & a pitcher. Pretty Good, nothing spectacular. Pizza, Subs, Salads, Spaghetti. good selection of beer on tap.

It's not much on atmosphere but Guido's offers the very best pizza you are likely to encounter anywhere. The restaurant is located on Hwy 412 as you enter Tontitown, Arkansas--a tiny rural community founded by immigrant Italians over one hundred years ago. I wouldn't classify their pizzas as genuine Italian. The recipe seems to have been modified to fit local tastes but, somehow, this has rendered the final product into something truly memorable. Don't order the large unless you plan to take the remainder home--it's that filling. Be sure and order a chilled pitcher of Sheiner Bock.

Guido's is a legend around here, but I have to say that it is disappointing. When we first moved here a year ago, we were told that we needed to visit Guido's Pizza. We tried out the one in the Wedington Road area of Fayetteville and ate "in" the first time. The server was obviously bored to death and never gave us refills on our drinks, but the pizza was OK. My husband later picked one up "to go" and it was not very appetizing. The crust tasted like cardboard and the toppings were few and far between. That was our last time trying their pizza. I would not recommend it as there are far better choices close by.
