Best Barbecue of my life! Best ribs I have ever eaten. Best part of our trip from Michigan to Texas

Not impressed. $13.50 for the rib plate and only two ribs?! Flavorless and not worth a return visit. The empty parking lot and restaurant should have been a clue.

Some of the best BBQ we had on a road trip through southern states. Enjoyed the chopped brisket very much, it was tender and moist. The sweet potato fries were among the best we've had. Pulled pork was also good. The coleslaw had a nice sweetness to it. The pinto beans had a bit of a kick (only too spicy for our strictly mild Mom). They had a variety of BBQ sauces to choose from - I really enjoyed the mustard BBQ sauce on the brisket. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we decided to order some meat by the pound to have sandwiches on the road the next day!

Great meal for the price. Tender & flavorful brisket. Nice side of beans and admirable sauce. Good choice for a casual lunch.

Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. The brisket is the best, even though the other meats are quite tasty as well.

I was expecting a lot...I was only slightly disappointed. Decent food, friendly and fast service, definitely worth a return trip if I were in the area.

Good ribs, geat flavor and texture. However the cole slaw left alot to be desired. The pinto beans were good and the people were friendly. Cost 27.00 for the two of us to have the regular order of ribs and sides, which was plenty of food for us.

Some of the best ribs I've ever had! (And there are 4 ribs on a rib plate, not 2 as someone else noted.) Sides are pretty typical but I love the mac 'n' cheese. The brisket is very good as well. I don't know where you'd find better 'cue.

Just north of Texas a few minutes past the state lines, a BBQ place raved by the locals. Inside not so impressive, wooden benches and Grizzly Adams looking log interior. Looks alot like Rudy's in Houston, until the food came out. Food: Pulle pork: dry, chewy, soggy. It's not too bad but definetly pale in comparisons to the BBQ just a few minutes across the border(Ok, a few hours). B Brisket: dry and rough, not the moist buttery taste I was expecting. B Pork Ribs: tender and smooth, pretty damned good. A Sides: slaw and beans were pretty good. B+ All in all it's not too bad of a place, reminded me of home but made me wish I was back at home.
