If you know what to expect going into this place, you'll be a lot better off. As one reviewer noted, this place is a honky tonk bar that happens to have a kitchen. It's incredibly smoky, small, and the clientele are all the blue collar biker/cowboy type. Not that there is anything wrong with that at all. I didn't feel unsafe or anything...it's an older local crowd just hanging out at their watering hole. I've had the burgers here twice now. Both times were take out and, unless you smoke like a chimney yourself, I recommend you do take out as well. Unless you don't mind smelling like smoke until you bathe and wash your clothes. Even going in to get the food, you'll come out smelling like you just walked into a...wait for it...smoky bar. Anyway...the burgers here are, in my opinion, pretty dang good. They're pretty big, though, so don't let yourself get too carried away. The fries are also very good and the price is very reasonable. As far as cleanliness, I can't comment too much. The place is pretty dark and is probably about as clean as a honky tonk bar is going to get. Go at your own risk, I suppose. I'd go back to get my take out order, no problem. If you're in the area and want a filling great bar burger, definitely stop in here. If you don't smoke, order ahead and do take out.

This is not a bar and Grill. It's a honky-tonk in a prefab building. Down a dirt road and in a gravel parking lot.

We were a couple of guys from Jersey and wanted to hit up a very local spot. They took one look at us and said "Oh Boy, Yeah, we're closed." So, in a way, we got what we came for. So I have to give it a 5... I have to.

Nice little bar. Really good burgers. Definitely a local dive bar, but people & staff are very friendly. Has a modern internet Jukebox, can find almost anything on, and a couple pool tables.

The 4 star rating is not for the Red Door--it's for their fabulous HAMBURGER & FRESH CUT FRIES! Biting into a Red Door burger is pure nostalgia. The taste and texture surpasses any franchise-produced burger to the point of being habit-forming. I generally don't frequent places known as "honky-tonks" but after my first visit to the Red Door, I became a lunch-time regular. To underscore the power of Red Door burgers, I've taken friends from Dallas, Allentown, PA and even Boston, to the Red Door--and all of them are now hooked on this beefy, messy delight. As an added bonus, you might encounter the RD's bar maid who is usually venting in a very colorful and profane manner.
