Their food is ok. They are basically the only Italian rest. in town. They recently remodeled so it seems cleaner than before. The best thing about this place is their chocolate spoon cake.

One of the nicer restaurants in the River Valley, and it's been her for years for good reason: the food is great. Service is sometimes lacking, seemingly due to improper training from management or youthful apathy, but the ambiance is nice and great for anything from a date night to a big birthday party (large rooms in the back). We usually get take-out, as you can get spaghetti/meatballs or lasagna + salad & dressing + bread for a reasonable price. And the lasagna is to die for. Absolutely delicious. My wife also LOVES the Eggplant Parmesan. While it would be easy for Italian Gardens to become lackadaisical (being the only nice Italian eatery around), they've kept the bar high for years.

The breadsticks and the marinara sauce are amazing! This is probably the only reason I can find to give it three stars. The service however is not good. The owner and most of his (male) staff are rather unfriendly and if it is close to closing don't go, they will be especially rude to you. It seems like they make their own hours which is rather confusing. Some days they are open for lunch, other days not.

Came here for dinner last night. Service was great, and there were plenty of menu options. Really enjoyed the complimentary garlic bread and marinara sauce. The pasta milano flavors were great, but we would have preferred the grilled chicken in my husband's dish over the cubed chicken in my own. His fettuccine alfredo tasted a little more like chicken and dumplings, but--as I said, the chicken was really flavorful. Nice, quiet date night restaurant with very friendly staff. And decent, in-house wine is always a plus in a dry county.

We visited this restaurant twice (because it was so good) while on vacation in the area. It is great Italian food at a reasonable price. I can highly recommend the Fried Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo and the Penne Pesto. Both were very good. The wait staff are also attentive and helpful. If I ever find myself back in the area I will be sure to visit again.

Cute place, terrible service and sub par food. The only thing I can praise was the sweet woman manager who quickly and politely removed a few charges from my bill. The waitstaff is rude and walk around looking mean and miserable. I paid $6 for half of a SMALL glass of wine ... Ordered another one thinking maybe it was mishap, but no.. Got half of a small glass again. Prime rib was cold, pasta tasteless. Asked for extra Alfredo to put on my bland pasta and they charged me three dollars for a ladle full. Ended up paying $60 for a terrible experience. I now understand why it was nearly empty on New Years Eve. :( this is the first time I have ever complained to a restaurant ... It was that bad.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
