I'm pleased to say this visit to our local Cracker Barrel was much better than our last. The waitress was attentive & pleasant, the food was HOT & plated nicely. The noise level is always louder than we like but if the food is decent & service it's ok. It's not elegant dining, it's just a good home style breakfast. I enjoy the store & usually find something to buy. The restrooms are clean & when we travel I will often choose to stop there because the standard for keeping their restrooms clean is pretty uniform in most I have used in other states.

I have been to this location several times and each time I have been there the silverware has been dirty. The servers are hit and miss. The receptionist is always friendly.

I've said it before -- I'm really glad that there are no Cracker Barrels in California because I would go there way too often. I'm fine with it being a treat when we happen to be in a state that has one. I went with my usual Cracker Barrel order -- a "vegetable" plate with fried okra, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and turnip greens. As per usual, our server was oozing with southern hospitality and the peg game was on the table to keep us entertained while we waited on our food.

I like Cracker Barrel and always have. Although the store is general over-crowded with "folks" and over-stuff with Made-in-China-Merch, the service is generally good. Also, the menu is great. One can get amazing breakfast at any time, and there's a wonderful balance of over-indulgent comfort food and conscience-friendly grilled options and veggies. HOWEVER, this particular location is Russellville is dangerously close to losing our business. The past several visits have been mediocre at best. Some of the food has seemed cold/old; our servers have been inattentive; and when we told the 5-star cashier that we were given the incorrect food and our server argued with us about the menu (I checked: we were right and she was wrong), the cashier just laughed and said, "Yeah, the menu can be difficult sometimes." What is that supposed to mean?!?! I'm sure they won't miss our business, but it saddens me that Cracker Barrel isn't the place it has been and that I want it to be.

No complaints here. Seating was quick for AM service. Food was ready rather fast although the eggs were barely warm. I guess that's the trade-off. Timely and non-intrusive staff.

I love this place!!! The food is great and you can roam around the store while you wait for your table, or after, or just go into the store :). Totally recommend!
