I'm going to presume this is a newly opened place still trying to find itself. They are as sweet (and slow) as molasses getting a table cleaned and you seated. Perhaps because there was one waitress in a 10 table eatery. We arrived before 7 pm on a Friday night to a dining space with several tables still loaded down with dishes but no guests remaining. I ordered the ground chuck steak explicitly med rare and asked that she confirm that. If "blackened" is what med rare means to these people, then they are culinary savants (see picture). The beef vegetable soup was their best effort although it would be more elegant as just a consommé. Diet Coke (no wine, dry county? Don't know...) is flat as she pours it from a 2 liter bottle almost table side. Husband's porter house was cooked more to his liking and yet mysteriously bland. Salad was flaccid -- the most horrid way a salad can be. The decor is oppressive and I'm concerned that this is where Hobby Lobby laborers come to work out aggression. I wish them the best and I'm betting they have big dreams but I won't be back.
