Almost 4yrs later and still disappointing. Ordered the cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and onion, mayo and mustard on the side, and fries. This was a to go order. There was literally one slice of lettuce that didn't even cover the burger, 1 small slice of tomato that again didn't cover the burger, and a slice of red onion. The burger was woefully over cooked, and the bun was as thick as texas toast and way too 'bready'. The fries are frozen.

If you are in the area and looking for a non-chain place to eat, this is a great choice. Mum personal favorite is the Red Goose Royale, and the Hawaiian chicken was good as we'll. My wife has had their salad and steak and enjoyed them both. Service is always friendly. Parking is in the back, and can fill up quickly on the weekends, especially if they are hosting an event in one of their large rooms.

If you are from out of town, you must understand that Paragould has always had a lack of non-chain restaurants and the Red Goose Deli is one of the best options in a town of very few options. I'm a local and have eaten here dozens of times. I recommend the salads and burgers. My favorite is a turkey sandwich on a croissant that has spinach-artichoke dressing added. Might be called the Red Goose Royale? Can't recall. The fried pickles with ranch are a guilty southern pleasure. Service has always been friendly and country-causal. Go here, enjoy a laid back atmosphere, and feel good about supporting local business!

Had the Salmon which was $11.99. A little pricey for my taste but was so wonderful. it comes with wild rice and choice of 2 sides. i picked the sauteed squash and the sweet potato fries. the atmosphere was small and homey for the town of Paragould, AR. I loved the food. i won't be going there every time but the food was the best in town. my wife had the grilled pork chops and it was great too. it's my parents favorite place to eat in Paragould

Stumbled on the Red Goose after a bad experience at Kiss the Cook, across the street. Our party of three enjoyed our lunch at the Red Goose. The tomatoes on our veggie burgers were local and vine ripened. The chips and onion rings were homemade and wonderful, although the fries were frozen and not very good. We were disappointed in the coconut cake, which was out of a box although advertized as "homemade.". The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, and the waitress very nice. I'd go there again. But not Paragould. I wouldn't go there again.

Always a great place to eat. If you don't want fast food and want some good food, come downtown.

I have previously enjoyed this place, but the last time I was here, the food and service were terrible! There was only one server, and the cooks were slacking. A very disappointing experience.
