Great bbq steaks. Tender enough that you can actually use plastic utensils to cut and eat them.

Terrible. I ate here on two separate occasions. Chicken fry steak was a pre pressed patty right out of the box. Two nights later I had the 4 bone plate. Ribs looked like and tasted like they had been under a convenience store heat lamp all day. Dry and no flavor. Will not recommend this place at all.

I have driven by this place several times while in the area, and frankly thought it was a gas station and convenience store. (By the way it also is these things). I was hungry for BBQ and checked out Yelp, discovering this place has 5 star reviews. So, I decided to give it a try. First a warning, if you don't know the area. The address is right, but Yelp takes you about 4 miles south of the right location, confusing 49North with 49South. It is North of the main intersection in town, off by itself. I tried to reset the location when there, and hopefully Yelp fixes it. Why you ask? This place is awesome! I ordered the Pork steak (1/2 inch thick) with fixing, and it was huge. I wouldn't dare try the 1 inch thick one. They smoke a bone-in cut of pork with their BBQ rub on it. The meat is pink and falls off the bone -- no knife required. I have never had this particular cut, and it was excellent. My meal was only $8.99 and included BBQ beans, which were quite good, fries and cole slaw. I usually don't like cole slaw, but this was quite good, with just enough dressing to make it tasty but not drowned it. I regret not having stopped in here before. Even after pulling up, and walking in I wasn't sure where or how to order. You order at the cashier where you can also pay for gas and other convenience store items. But, don't let this throw you. The food is first rate. Definitely worth a trip is your are heading North on 49 through Paragould!

I decided to try it and the food was really good and it did not cost an arm and a leg to eat there. If your in Paragould try it. It's worth the money.

I was working at the hospital when one of my coworkers said we were getting take out. She handed me the menu (I had no idea what it was) and just picked out a philly cheesesteak sandwich. It is one of my favorites and you cant go wrong with that! It was fairily cheap at 4.99 compared to some places I have been. Seeing as how I had not eaten in 9 hours I was extremely hungry and excited to get my food once it arrived. This is by far the best philly chesesteak sandwich I have ever had in my life. That is a huge compliment for some who has eaten at a lot of places and ordered a philly. I would drive the 40 minutes it takes to this place when I am hungry because it is absolutely delicious. I love it!!! You have to try this at least once :) From thier website!!: Ironhorse BBQ is featured in Chef Paul Kirk's book "America's Best BBQ" as #8 of 10 in his Favorite BBQ Restaurants in America! Now that's recognition! Our pork is slow smoked for 12 hours and chopped fresh for you! We use Idaho Russet potatoes to make our mashed potatoes! We even make our own barbeque sauce from a secret recipe, and the oil in our fryers is top quality with 0% trans fat!
