The service was great. They got my 2 year old her food quickly so she wouldn't have to wait. Our food came out fast too. All the plates were cleared including my mother in laws, who never finishes her meal. 3rd generation family owned business. I would recommend the sausage plate and my husband loved the brisket.

Group wanted BBQ and this was the closest place to the highway... The sliced pork was great. The fried pie was OK for looking like a vending machine product. The chopped beef looked & tasted more like standard ground beef. The fries were frozen & fried zig-zag variety. The coleslaw was OK. I ordered unsweet tea and tasted bitter like it was burnt. Others ordered the $5 chicken sandwich was not very large and came with no sides. We all walked away wishing we went someplace else.

Mediocre BBQ. Inattentive staff. No brand identity to speak of; generic and soulless feeling. No sauce. Whole Hog beats the crap outta this place.

Never have been to a BBQ place that used brown gravy as the 'sauce'. Ordered the beef/pork combo and had to ask if it was actually what I ordered. Don't recommend or will be coming back.

There location and business hours unfortunately keep from visiting often however, I always stop in on my vacation. For any Bar-B-Que enthusiast, it is a must to visit. The walls are covered with the establishments' deep history in the area. Good food and history make it a place to add to your list.
