Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Food; always pre frozen fattening crap that you know is bad but you still eat it This is about the manager at this location He seriously is one of the nicest men I've ever met..not only is he kind...but every single time I come in My kid thinks he's a basketball player cuz he's so tall.. He really makes you feel welcomed...

The salmon is PERFECT, juicy and it flakes off when you stick your fork in it, just like it should. Wonderful smiling staff, who are very attentive and never leave beverages or bread unfilled!

First off, it took our waiter 15 minutes to even take our drink order. Once we had ordered our actual meal, which was just unlimited soup and salad it took him forever just to bring salad and breadsticks. The salad was limp and not fresh whatsoever. Then half an hour after waiting we finally got our soups. He came around once to ask if we wanted more and we ordered more soup, but the next time he came he had nothing for us so we just asked for the check as we were very tired of waiting. At the end he MADE us use the tablet at the table to pay even though it was dirty and I didn't want too. He claimed it was "mandatory" even though I had seen other staff take other customers cards to the regular machine. Very disgusted with the service. NEVER going back!

I had the spaghetti and meat balls. It was pretty good. As always, the salad was wonderful.

My husband and I ate there last weekend and had an unsettling experience. We presented our server with a $45 gift card that had never been used and a check card to pay the remaining balance. When she returned with the card slip for us to sign the entire balance of the meal had been deducted from our check card and the gift card was no where to be seen. We called her back to our table and inquired why the gift card was not used. She told us the card had a zero balance. We asked to have the card returned to us at which point she did give it back. We called the toll free number on the back to find the card did, in fact, have a $45 balance. This might have been a technology glitch at the restaurant, but I question the server's handling of the situation. She could have drawn our attention to the card slip and the fact that the gift card was not applied, and returned the card to us. She did none of these things. I am also disappointed in Olive Garden's corporate office, which has not yet bothered to respond to my inquiry if the server was following standard practice. I don't think this chain needs my business. There's always Macaroni Grill.

Normally I would give the Olive Garden a 3 or 4 stars for the value of the soup and salad lunch deal. I know that all the soup comes premade and shipped to the restaurant but I still enjoy it. What can't be prepackaged is the employees. Yesterday I had an absolute terrible experience at this Olive Garden. I sat at the bar in hopes that I would be served faster and could enjoy a book that I had bought with me. 1. A waitress came up to the bar and asked the bartender for some orange slices for a child. The bartender kept going on about how he did have many oranges. I did write down the following comments from him. " We don't do that", "Grapes are for kids". He ended up giving the waitress a single slice of orange. ???? Every restaurant knows that you need the family business and while some offer playgrounds others offer inexpensive or free kids meals. The money is not made on the kids but on the adult entrees that the parents purchase. When I am at my home town Olive Garden I ask for a side of olives for my child and get no hassle for it. I feel the problem was that the bar tender felt he would have to do more work and have to cut another orange. 2. Another waitress ordered 2 identical beers through the electronic system and the shift manager made 1 of the 2 beers. The bar tender made the other beer. When the waitress came up to get the drinks she stated that the 2 drinks were not the same thing and asked what they were. Rather than trying to fix the problem, the same bar tender as before just concentrated on how he poured what she asked for despite the obvious fact that they were not the same thing. The manager poured out the obviously wrong drink and poured the correct beer into the glass. Yes that's right, I did not mention her getting a new glass or cleaning the used glass. She just poured the beer into the same glass. While some might feel this is ok, some beer lovers will be able to taste the residue of the previous beer. 3. The bar tender called for assistance while I was sitting there cause he was swamped. Yes he was swamped by the 2 customers, a couple that had a pile of dirty dishes on their table and were waiting for the check and myself. He walked with the purpose of a tortoise going to a slice of lettuce. 4. I used a gift card for my purchase and the bar tender returned without the gift card explaining it was used up since they don't give cash back for any amount not used. I guess by doing this he was able to get a 20% tip cause I was planning on leaving a smaller amount. I questioned him on this and left before I got upset. Maybe this experience was just a one time event, maybe not. I know if I go in and see the same bartender working, I will not eat at the bar and I will not order any drinks. To the corporate offices of Olive Garden: Let me know if you need some mystery shoppers the let you know what happens when the employees think that no one is listening. Sitting at the bar alone is a great way to see how the employees talk to each other about everything. No wonder Olive Garden got rid of the slogan "When your here, your family"

Olive garden at Lakewood Village is terrible. I called in my to go order, wasn't ready because the Olive garden in west little rock got the order. How are the phones jacked up?The manager replies it happens sometimes. The guy next to me waited even longer for someone to acknowledge and take his order. The employee's are rude and they are out food. C'mon OG North Little Rock. Do better! .

My family and I (party of 15) showed up and was told 20 minutes, 15 minutes later we were seated. The servers were great, service was awesome no problems at all. You would think with 15 people somebody would be unhappy, not the case here. Orders taken with out a hitch, food arrived promptly fresh and hot. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I have never complained when my food was less than edible or the last visit I had here where I ordered something simple as lasagna and it wasn't served till it was time to pick up the check- but this evening prompted a poor review. The woman who answered the phone at Olive Garden was rude when I asked about setting aside a section for my family for tomorrow for lunch. She quickly cut me off to say they don't do reservations on the weekend. She had no idea the circumstance of our family lunch would be following a memorial service of my grandfather nor did she care. I felt Olive Garden would be an ideal quiet lunch location to follow the service for my grandmother and our family but due to the person's rudeness I will not be returning as a customer again. Never forget that customer service goes a long way.

Really disappointed with this place. All the food tastes as if it came from a frozen box. The staff was nice but very slow to refill drinks. The lobby was crazy loud and with 5 hosts none of them were greeting guests. They were simply running around like chickens. Probably won't rerun here for a while.

We came here tonight for our Anniversary dinner and we left EXTREMELY full, happy and jubilant by the way we were treated by our waiter, our service and our delicious food! We started with the stuffed mushrooms and fried mozzarella. My husband said the stuffed mushrooms were the most amazing thing he has ever tasted..and that is saying a lot! He then had the never-ending pasta bowl with penne and the meat sauce that I cannot pronounce or spell. (I won't even attempt!). I had my favorite (zuppa toscana) with fresh salad and bread-sticks! Our waiter, Zach or Zack was FANTASTIC! He went above and beyond for us. We never went without a drink, fresh bread-sticks or a replacement dish. We had a great Anniversary and although we spent a little more than we should have, we left with full and happy stomachs! Overall, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this place! Try the stuffed mushrooms and order a dessert for us (we never make it to that round!)

This branch in particular has worse food than any other branch. A few months back, I tried here once. Below average taste. I had to make another trip again a few days ago as I got to Little Rock and it was late at night with few other fast food shop choices nearby. I ordered Seafood Alfrado. My bad. Horrible taste. How did they cook it?? This time, I am pretty sure that I am never coming back here even if it's late at night. I would rather eat Oreo Cookies with milk and sleep.

Service was horribly slow. After delivering our drinks, (water) she never came back except to deliver our check. Other staff delivered food and cleared our tables. When my wife asked for more breadstick, you would have thought we killed someone. Food was average, service was not. It was worse.

Food was pretty good and service was nice

Every time I have been here the food and service has been great. I dunno why it has 2 stars. I have been to many olive gardens and this one is just s good as the best.

We've been going to this Olive Garden, on and off, for the past year because my wife enjoys Olive Garden. Each time we go, the food gets worse and worse---and it didn't start off all that great in the beginning. They have really wonderful servers and really awful servers, as well as good managers and bad managers. The bad staff is incredibly rude, but the good ones make for an enjoyable experience. If you happen to be so unfortunate to go to this restaurant, ask for Joe or Justin as your server. The food has progressively gotten worse over time, but the last time, we both ended up sick for three days. The doctor says that most probably we got sick because the chef came to work sick and passed it on through the food. While the ambiance is nice, the food is deplorable. This is one restaurant to skip. There are better options in the area.

Food is great but serve was kind of slow

Dined here in June 2012; was shocked at the decline this location has taken. Server was so bad, and that's never happened to us here . It was embarrassing for me as host- and the food was not ok. It Took forever to be delivered which at lunch is usually speedy, and they cooked our pastas in the oven so long, they burnt our mouths and were tough. Ravioli had hardly any sauce and again, baked to its death....I think they had to put our meals in that heater oven trying to keep it hot while our server was who knows where. I've never had a bad ravioli at Olive Garden until here. Our quick lunch turned into 90 minutes! My guests said they won't be back to this location . Very very sad to see this.

This review is not exactly about Olive Garden's in general, just this particular location. I have eaten at several different ones, and they are generally decent, although not spectacular. This location however is an abomination. Every time I have been there the food has been some combination of cold and horrible, or both. The Alfredo tastes like it was half powder and half water. The salad has often had bad lettuce in it, and the service, well there just aren't enough words to describe how bad it has been. This happened to me twice there, I was eating my meal and waiter came up with a vacuum cleaner and started vacuuming underneath our table, and ran over my toe, which was in a sandal. This sort of behavior is the norm there and I would avoid this place at all times. Seriously, McDonalds is a better option.

We went there for lunch today and the previous reviewer was spot on. The exception was our waiter was fantastic and really belongs in a better establishment. The chicken & gnocchi soup was basically ground chicken (think cat food), bacon bits, slices of potato in a chicken with milk broth and a bit of sad spinach thrown in. It was the worst ever! And no mints (they were out).
