I once bought a restaurant.com egiftcard for this company. My boss at the time was good friend with the owner and the owner assured us we could use the card for a large party. The day we went to pick up the food, there was a lady at the counter, who said she couldn't read the information on the page, we offered her the info with someone who had their glasses and she still couldnt' read, she refused to let the owner speak to us, she refused to find someone else to try to read the paperwork ecard. It had just been printed out and was fresh with dark bold black letters, not hard to miss. I got the impression that this company needs your money, whether you buy ecard or what. The next few times we catered in for parties at work, we never went thru this company again and we never will. We try to tell everyone we can that though the food might be decent, the face of the company (cashiers and owners) lie to get your money.

I'd been meaning to try this restaurant for years, and happened to recently be in the area during lunch. A coworker and I stopped by, and were pleased with our selections. Although the restaurant itself is very basic, the staff is friendly enough, and the food is very affordable and quite good. I opted for their lunch special, which includes a regular BBQ sandwich, a side, and drink - all for $5.75 or so. The portion sizes weren't massive, but were just filling enough. And let me tell you...they have some great BBQ sauce! Peppery, not too runny...just the right balance.

Had the catfish dinner with greens and potato salad. The sides were great, catfish was pretty good. Service was very friendly, nice place to get a good meal. Peach pie was delicious!

This is a no-frills, friendly restaurant that is serious about southern cooking done well. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu - pork, ribs, catfish, it's all great.

Great service, tasty food of good size. We had the saucy bbq ribs and also the crumbed fried catfish. Quality sides. Apple pie better than the peach.

In California we have barbecue, but we all know that we don't have any REAL barbecue. So on my first trip to the South, I knew I had to find a REAL barbecue place and I am glad that we stumbled upon Lindsey's Hospitality House & Barbecue. They have great food at generous prices and they top it all of with their friendliness! I got the pulled pork sandwich, with a side of bbq beans and finished it off with their famous fried peach pie! It was all amazing! I'm just sad knowing that I won't find anything like it back home. Finally, the people that run the restaurant were all super friendly and super welcoming. They asked us about our trip and even introduced us to another Californian passing on by. It felt just felt like a family welcoming you into their home. I'm definitely planning to stop by again the next time I'm in Arkansas. Now I just need an excuse for the trip.

This is a local joint -- food made by the locals and frequented by the local community. Cost is really affordable and the atmosphere is very friendly! :-) I ordered the combo -- ribs, chicken, and fish. Yummy!! Two sides -- okra and BBQ beans. Yummy again! The price for this meal is really affordable! I'm glad I came here!

A native of Little Rock my family moved to TEXAS 35 years ago. I moved back to Arkansas about 6 months ago. Since then I have been on a search for the BBQ I remembered as a boy. Well, I found it at Lindsey's! The BBQ sauce is to die for, a mustard based sauce with a peppery after taste. I sampled the chopped beef sandwich which comes with slaw and sauce and a side of the link sausage. Both were excellent. I had two sides: cabbage and greens both were as good as I have ever eaten. My only complaint was that my corn bread was over cooked. Must have just gotten a bad batch. The dinning room is casual and nothing fancy, but I found the staff friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell the staff really pour themselves into the BBQ process. I highly recommend!

First time here, took the ratings from yelp as a good sign! I had the Rib dinner with side of catfish, fried okra, french fries, bread and sweet tea! The BBQ sauce was phenomenal and a little peppery, made great dipping sauce for the bread and the catfish. great homey environment and wonderful customer service! Next time I'm in Little Rock, I'll be stopping by!

The best meal I've had since we left NC. We had the smoked chicken which was very good without the sauce. We were happy we ordered the sauce on the side because we didn't like it at all. Our sides were really good also. I had pecan pie which was just ok but didn't taste home made. My husband liked the sweet potato pie. We would definitely eat there again if we ever get back this way.

I have seen excellent reviews about Lindsey ' s BBQ so I had to check it out before I move away from Arkansas. First of all, the restaurant is very nice and very clean. It made me think it was a library at one time. The lady behind the counter was very helpful. I ended up with the rib plate and added brisket with potato salad and okra. The ribs tasted like they were hot off the grill and almost fall off the bone. They were definitely the best part of my meal. The brisket was ok. However, I wasn't in love with the BBQ sauce. It was very vinegary and peppery. If you have been to H&B's, it tasted similar to me except this was more liquidy. It went well with the ribs but to me, it didn't go well with brisket. The potato salad was mustard based and chunky. Pretty good potato salad and the fried okra was what you expected from okra. The table across from mine had BBQ beans and blackeye peas. I wish I had ordered those instead. Sweet tea was very sweet. Service was a little bit of a problem. There was a lady that brought out my food and would come out and check on the room from time to time...but never came back to check on me when I needed a refill. I sat there waiting way too long until a nice gentleman came to refill it for me and bring me BBQ sauce. There is a little bit of something for everyone at Lindsey ' s. Beside BBQ, they do catfish and country cooking. Ribs were great but the sauce just wasn't for me.

Just amazing. Tender meat and fantastic sauce. Friendly, helpful staff. You feel at home.

Best BBQ in Little Rock. My friend and I went after a Traveler's game and found some hearty portions and great service. The ribs are fall of the bone, smokey and don't even need the sweet sauce that comes with. The pulled pork also melts in your mouth and has some spicy notes on the tail end. Both are great options. The slaw is great, but heavy on the dressing (as typical with local BBQ joints). And the beans are a nice sweet change of pallet from the meat. But whatever you do, get the homemade apple turnover. The apple and cinnamon are the best I have ever had. The atmosphere is fantastic. The banquet room doubles as in house seating, but the service (take-in or out) is great. Chatted with all of the ladies and the manager was on hand and very charismatic. I have experienced some solid BBQ all over the south and this stands up as the top 5.

Used a Groupon for lunch. Great deal. Service is polite, attentive and super friendly. Food tastes like you're at a potluck with several great cooks! The beef dinner and pork dinner had great flavor and zero fatty or chewy parts. My husband and I are kind of stingy with the 5-star rating but if I could, I would give this place an additional half or 3/4 star. Loved the potato salad. Loved the coleslaw.

Reasonable prices good comfort food and friendly staff. Had the smothered steak lunch special with cabbage and mashed potatoes/gravy. Also, ordered a whole smoked chicken for $8.50 and 1 lb of chopped pork bbq for $8.50 to take home for dinner.

I've been here twice now and I can't wait any longer to review. I LOVE this place because: 1) the fried chicken is ridiculous (the 15 minute wait doesn't even factor in as an inconvenience) 2) the BBQ sauce is peppery heaven all over my pork 3) the fried catfish is moist on the inside, crispy on the outside and oh-so-tasty 4) the sides destroy any other sides I've had around town, or anywhere for that matter (the greens and cabbage and BBQ beans and black eyed peas are among my favorites) 5) fried peach pie, and 6) the nicest folks ever...I kid you not I wouldn't necessarily compare this place to other BBQ spots around town. Comparing it to Sims seems like apples and oranges to me. The menu seems diverse and I get the sense that they do everything well...and they're happy to answer questions. For a LR noob like me, it was one of the most welcoming meals I had my first month in town. And I dream about that pork and all of the dishes I haven't had yet.

The catfish is to die for. Fried, but very moist with a wonderful taste. Meatloaf is excellent and those are the only two dishes I have enjoyed over the past fifteen visits. The greens and other vegetables are direct from the farm and very fresh and tasty. The staff is so nice and responsive. A most refreshing change from most restaurants where the service is impersonal. At Lindsey's each of the staff care about each patron. I wish I lived in town, so I could continue to enjoy this wonderful restaurant. I am here for work and have to move on. But Lindsey's will always be in my top five restaurants.

This is the best bbq i tasted so far in Ar. I tried the others but all taste the same and some are dry. The bbq here is moist and very tasty. I also love the sides here. The serving is very big and is good for sharing. The owner is also very friendly and polite. She's very nice. This is really a good bbq place. The name speaks for itself.

Most amazing soul-food style bbq in NLR, possibly even the state! We got the pork and rib dinner, with slaw & greens, potato salad & beans; and every bite was crazy delicious! Ribs falling off the bone, pork basted in super sweet sauce for hours, tangy slaw, tender greens, spicy beans and perfectly mayo/mustard based potato salad. Even the cornbread was just the right flavor & texture. We can't wait to try the catfish & fried chicken!

On a cross-country road trip, my fiancé and I staked out amazing spots to eat. We decided to try out Lindsey's based on Yelp reviews, and honestly, we were a bit underwhelmed. We did love the catfish, greens, cole slaw and baked beans. But the hush puppies and corn bread were very dense, and we didn't care for the smoked chicken in BBQ sauce. The fried chicken was 'ok', as were the pies that we tried. That catfish though, maybe the best ever.

If you like soul food, BBQ or good home cooking, stop here! Not a lot of ratings but it should definitely be 5 stars and 10000 ratings. Ribs are great! The hush puppies that came with the cornbread are bangin! Everything here seems to be amazing. The wait is long so don't come in a hurry.

This is the real thing. In business for over 60 years I'm pretty sure, they serve fine BBQ with well cooked sides of what you expect...peas, cornbread, greens, etc. Good service, very friendly staff, decent parking. Order at the counter and soon you will have a very good meal set in front of you. Carry out is also easy if you'd rather eat the wonderful ribs and chicken at home. Try it, you'll like it.

I am in heaven. Post-BBQ debauchery heaven. We just ate a huge amount of amazingly wonderful BBQ. A giant platter of ribs, pulled pork, hot links, chicken, and brisket. All in tangy, hot but not too hot homemade family secret recipe sauce. Slaw, fried okra, and greens that were so good I had to drink the juice that was left in the bottom of the bowl. And really really nice staff and owner. Very very clear why this family restaurant has been around for 60 years. I will be back! And let's not forget the pie. We had pecan and coconut cream. The best I've ever had.

Very best BBQ I have had in Arkansas and the best fried pie I have ever had. The beef in the Jumbo Chopped Sandwich was expertly smoked with a little bit of crunch, zero fatty pieces and perfectly sauced with a sauce that tastes house made. The fried pie seemed to be filled with a purée of real peaches and fried perfectly.

I came here with my daughter for dinner on Thursday, November 6, 2014. The best fried chicken I've ever had! Nice and crisp on the outside, and the white meat was juicy and tender. My daughter had the catfish, and it was fantastic. The owners are very friendly and chatted with us towards the end of our meal. Highly recommended!

Great lunch/dinner restaurant. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. The food... Amazing! I was raised in the South, eating here was like being in my Granny's kitchen except more choices. I'll be back to visit the next time I'm in Little Rock.

This place is absolutely amazing. We stopped here driving from Memphis to OK city and had the best BBQ I've ever had. It's a little it out of the way, but worth the drive!
