Fast and Friendly service. One of three "family" type restaurants in town, it was the family and my favorite. The chicken friend steak and the chicken strips were both good. Remembering this is a small town, this place lived up to expectations. We will come back.

Good food and good service! As a few posters have pointed out, chicken fried everything. Only problem we had was the old man who loaded his to go plate with almost all of the fried catfish just before I got to it, and the owner yelling at the top of her lungs at the staff. Note to all local restaurateurs: PLEASE do your criticizing of your staff behind closed doors, out of sight AND earshot of your customers. NOT where we can hear you complaining about their poor service, bad order-taking or any other issues which should be dealt with PRIVATELY. And cursing where your customers can hear it? NONONONONONO! (Especially Southern cursing...I remember my grandma cussing in the kitchen...was not a pretty sight) And what is with the local restaurants having their TVs tuned in to the local advertising? They all have the same channel with the same local ads running. I really would like to have seen some real news. Other than that, just as good as Buddy's across the road. Time to hit the road home and back to all that Tex-Mex...

Nice, clean establishment. Friendly owners and staff was very impressed. Food was hot and tasty. Affordable for the family I would recommend stopping here to eat.

Chicken fried everything! Friendly prompt service despite knowing they were the only place in town open. Onion rings highly recommend.

Murfreesboro is a small town in Arkansas and its claim to fame is the Crater of Diamonds State Park. Decent eating places are not easy to find. We were going to eat somewhere else and drove 13 miles to find the place was closed. We had passed Rattlers Den the day before and saw the parking lot was crowded but ate at a familiar place in town. Tonight the sherrif and city police were eating there, so we decided to stop and give it a try. It is a family run restaurant and the food was really good. I had the 10 piece fried shrimp dinner with tater tots and a trip to the salad bar. My wife had chicken quesadillas. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the tater tots weren't greasy at all. The salad bar had the usual fare. My wife said the chicken quesadillas were really delicious. We saved room for dessert and the ice box pies we had were really, really good. The Rattlers Den is family run and has been open only 5 months. The waitress was friendly and constantly checked to see if we needed anything. Will eat here again.
