First meal in Mtn. View on Saturday night. We came in about an hour before close. A little odd when you fist get there. You enter through the side and give your order at the counter. It's OK once you know that's the deal.. We sat down and waited for our food. A little slow but when the fish arrived it was nice, We split the meal as we often do. Fries? well, they were a little under cooked and soft, but with enough ketchup you can remedy that, right??? Hey it was adequate. It was the end of shift. Not really complaining. The waitress offered us our choice of fresh fried pies with ice cream? Now your talking. We split a chocolate pie with a little vanilla soft serve on the side... Yeah, they pulled it out in the fourth quarter..Ha! It was something to write home about.. I'd go back when in the mood for BBQ and or Catfish, but don't forget the fried pies..

We ate here for dinner last night. Wait staff was young and very inattentive. Food was not well prepared. I asked for butter and sour cream on my potato. The sour cream had been served before. Would not recommend this to anyone.

We just ate here for the first time. We both had the mammoth cheeseburger. I actually ordered the smaller one but the ink was running low on their receipts and all they could read was cheeseburger, so basically I got a bigger size burger for the price of the smaller one. Speaking of prices, the price of our food really wasn't bad. We both ate and got stuffed for less than $20. The seats were really cool. They are all wood and the back of the chairs all look so unique. I loved all the old signs and license plates on the wall. We went in about 3pm on Tuesday and it was dead. There were three other small groups eating there. So it was nice and quiet. Food was good. Fries were crispy. Burger was juicy. The whole place looked clean, also. Definitely recommend this place.

I can't pass up the chance to try some new wings but I should have listened to the locals. The wings were less than mediocre and for the price there wasn't much meat. The fries were cold and the place was almost empty. I should have followed my own advice and listens to the locals :(

Things I like: Interior - rustic without looking cheesy Options - many items to choose from, bad for the indecisive! Wing Sauces - I don't like Buffalo sauce, so having options such as lemon pepper make me happy Fried Pie - little pie pockets fried and served with ice cream; you can get fried coconut pie?!? Catfish - not bad, fulfilled my desires Made-to-order - everything comes out hot and fresh, and I do mean hot Free peanuts - since you have to wait a bit to get your food, nice to have something to munch on Dislikes: A little pricey - eh Hushpuppies - small and spicy, if you like Jalapenos go for it, not my style

Cute place, This place will do gangbusters. Great atmosphere, pretty well designed place, with great curb appeal to draw you in. SUPER nice folks and staff. Good sized portions at very good prices, and decent food. Hamburgers are above average "Dairy Bar" style burgers and BIG. Good, not great, much better than most places. Big soggy soft french fries, but at least they were hot, which is better than most places. I'm not a large krinkle cut fry fan for this reason. Wings were not even average, I had the 'medium buffalo'. They need to cook the wings longer to get a good crisp on them before dunking in the buffalo sauce, too soft and soggy, but with good flavor and a good kick but not too much. Glad i didn't go hotter than the medium, it was hot enough. Their 'blizzard' or whatever they call their ice cream thing, was really good, w/ LOTS and lots of 'mixings'.
