Don't get me wrong, the food was fine. But getting the food to your table was challenging. Slow doesn't even start to describe it. Even the manager's assistance didn't speed up the process. When the food arrived, only 3 out of 4 of us received what we ordered. While waiting, and waiting, for the dessert that came with a "3 course meal" (and was declared when the initial order was placed), the waitress came to the table with a bowl of corn. CORN??? What was that supposed to accomplish? We were waiting for refried ice cream. They already took away our dinner plates. Way too frustrating to eat here. The good news is that you can get a 20% discount on Sundays if you bring the church bulletin. Trust me, you are going to need the patience of a saint.

It might be authentic for Local residence but I rate the food quality a 6 out of 10. The service was very good and although the margarita was not much of a "blended" it still had a good kick. Thanks Angel! Overall it was probably one of the better places I ate while on my stay in Mountain Home. I Rate it 3+

Mediocre food and too expensive for what you get, both quality and quanitity wise. Much better places eat elsewhere.

I've never had a meal I've actually enjoyed here. The cheese is too thick, the enchiladas have a weird flavor to them. I would not recommend this place over el charro.

We had our doubts from the parking lot... empty during dinner rush. We got out of the car & as we walked up to the building we heard 80's Pop music being played in a mexican restaurant. We walked through the front door and it kept getting worse, so we turned around & left.

Service was polite and attentive, but slow. When our food arrived, it was cool. Not hot. The " careful, plate is hot" moment was comical. Plate arrived, touched, room temp.

Hot plate? Yes, the plate was hot, the food was not even warm to the touch. I had a sizzling plate of fajitas and the iron skillet was hot, but the food on it was not. 2 strip of pepper and almost a whole onion, but no flavor. Really disappointed.

Tuesday nights are a favorite, fajitas 1/2 price. Never had a bad meal there. Love the chicken enchaladas, too. One of our favorite places to eat. Their apple pie is scrumptious!

Sat at the bar on a Sunday night, had the grande house margarita and a combo - appetizer platter. Woohoo! for booze on Sunday - not always possible in this town. Margarita was solid as was the combo platter- really didn't like the taquitos though. We had fast and friendly service and we hope to return soon. The regular menu looks like there are plenty of lunch and daily deals.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
