Atmosphere is nice. Service is fast. Food is good. I would come here if you're looking for American food, A cold alcoholic drink, and to hang out with friends.

Best steak we've had in a long time and worth the price. They have less pricey items too but we had the ribeye and filet and it was perfection. The service was seriously awesome. I'm extremely picky about food quality and service and am leaving a star review for both. We will definitely go back and atmosphere is modern and I'd love to see more booths but that's seriously all I could suggest. Loved it!

Unfortunately, I'm not a fan. Although the atmosphere is nice, and somewhat modern- the inflated prices and food leave me unimpressed. I've lived in the area for 7 years, and have visited numerous times. I've never fallen in love with Cheers. I recently tried the Grilled Turkey sandwich (lettuce, tomato and mayo on wheat, with choice of American, Jalapeno, Swiss, Cheddar, or Mozzarella cheese. $7.5). The meat was salty, and the bread was bland. I found it a little ridiculous to charge $7.50-$9.50 for basic sandwiches. Sides outside of potato chips are an additional charge - $2-$3, if I remember correctly. And the sides are SMALL. My husband got a small handful of fries. He also is allergic to wheat, so he opted for a burger minus the bun. It was fine, but nothing special. I will say, our server was very friendly. Maybe I am ordering the wrong items? I just can't fathom paying $10-$20 for a basic meal that I can get most anywhere.

Salads are good, other than that mediocre at best. It's the nicest place in town, but the food isn't very tasty.

This used to be my favorite place to eat years ago. I would go here after work, for special occasions, lunches and just to get a good drink and app. I want to say first and foremost the service is still wonderful. Unfortunately it just cannot make up for the lack of food quality and prices. Mostly with their specials. I've gone back time and time again because I believe in them but for some reason this location is sadly lacking now. I still enjoy the Heights restaurant very much though! Thanks for your attention. I hate writing bad reviews. I still love you, Cheers! Come back!!

Years ago, Cheers used to be decent - their daily specials could at times be excellent. Not sure what happened with ownership/management, but it's downright poor now. Great atmosphere, and a pretty building - terrible food. I really, really want to like this place, but after several bad experiences I won't be going back...would not recommend.

I enjoyed the atmosphere. A little pricey. The salads are served with this cardboard tasting cracker. What happened to warm bread for the cost of the salad?

Off to a bad start. I called twice once to make a reservation for 10. We had a surprise dinner for my future son-in-law. Ang again to confirm. When we arrived, no reservations could be found. My daughter had the oyster dinner, not good. Oysters we soggy. Sister ordered shrimp & got chicken served to her. The waiter made it good and brought her additional shrimp. Our server was very good I think the short fall was in the kitchen where the food was concerned. There is no excuse for loosing the reservation.

Enjoyed a late lunch/early dinner there a few days ago. It was my first time visiting Maumelle and this restaurant. I thought the food was excellent and the service was prompt and courteous. We sat near a ginormous 80"(?) TV - very impressive.

We went on a Sunday around 1pm (yes, they have recently opened themselves for Sunday business) and I was very disappointed with this experience. They offer only a limited menu on Sundays, which we were not informed of until arriving and being seated, even after calling earlier in the day to make sure they were open. They were short-staffed, making the service sparse and the food slow. My cheeseburger was nothing special and came out overcooked; the only thing to note that was really good were the sweet potato fries. Advice would be to avoid going to Cheers on Sunday until the managers see fit to staff their establishment properly.

We have lived in Maumelle for 10 years now. We have eaten at this establishment many, many times. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. We watched the quality of their food decline every year. The last time they served us what looked like dirty fries, not burnt. It was like the oil in the fryer was never, ever changed. Gross.

Blech. I came here on a weekday around 1 pm. The patio is nice and the chairs are comfortable. The service was friendly and prompt, nothing to complain about. We ordered three appetizers; the fried crawfish, the crab cakes and the fried oyster remoullade. The crawfish were breaded and fried, and came with a cocktail-style red sauce in a little ramekin. Almost all of the crawfish themselves were very very small. A few medium sized pieces of meat sat in the bowl along with mostly cocktail-shrimp sized critters. The meat of the crawfish was completely bland and tasteless. Total lack of seasoning. Also, it was obvious that these were frozen crawfish - mushy texture. If I had closed my eyes and tasted these crawfish, I would have no idea in the world what they were. The second course was the crab cakes. The cakes were served on a plain white round plate with two packets of Saltine crackers. (wtf?) The tops and bottoms of the crab cakes were burnt black. Cutting in to them and taking a bite, I was sure it was a mashed potato cake. It was mushy, completely tasteless and had no recognizable chunks of crab flesh. Restaurants have the option to order several different quality levels of crab for their dishes. Jumbo lump, lump, claw, backfin, etc. This was the absolute bottom of the barrel garbage that Sysco will deliver. I sent it back. Finally, the fried oyster dish. Again, round white plate, a half-handful of shredded iceberg lettuce covering the bottom. Then a sprinkling of sliced canned black olives on the lettuce (weird). And around the outside of the plate sat six or seven sad looking fried oysters, each with a liberal squirt of orange/cream-colored goop. The flesh of the oysters was mealy and unpleasant. I don't think that it was too overcooked because the breading wasn't burned, perhaps they were mealy because they were old and not fresh. Overall, just too many glaring fundamental mistakes in the kitchen. This was not a matter of tweaking a tiny thing. Instead, these were basics that were botched so badly that only a new chef could save it. Unless someone has given you a gift certificate, stay away.

What to say about Cheers in Maumelle. I've been several times over the years and it seems to go up and down in quality and service. You'll go once and enjoy everything and go back and the food quality and service is down. Not very consistent. Try it out and you might get lucky and hit it on a good night. Pricing is a bit high due to it's consistency issues.

If you know what to order, this isn't all that bad but the majority of the items here have disappointed me. I've been here many times. If I stick to the burger, I'm generally satisfied. The service is usually very good. The fried crawfish is flavorless and mushy, as one reviewer noted. The cheese dip is okay but a lot of times served cold. The crab cakes have very little crab meat in them and are way over priced and greasy. In fact, that's probably the major complaint I have, everything is so over priced, especially the salads and sandwiches. And given the quality of everything else, I've been too timid to order some of the pricier items like the steaks or fish.

Got takeout last night, ordered one filet and one ribeye, but got two ribeyes. Flavor was ok, nothing spectacular by any means. One steak was supposed to be med rare, but came out rare, the other was supposed to be medium, but came out well done. While the surface area of the steaks was rather large, both steaks were thin and completely untrimmed. Lots of fat around the edges, and one steak had a large fatty section in the middle. Overall a low quality cut of meat and we paid over $30 each for them! We could have gotten better steaks at Western Sizzlin. The sides were barely there and of mediocre flavor. The best part of the meal was probably the caesar salad and bread. Would not recommend. I can't imagine us wasting our money here again.

This place is considered fine dining in Maumelle. The food was average with a nice atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and probably the best place if you don't feel like driving back into Little Rock.

The burgers were good. Beautiful and clean space. I was dissapointed they didn't have the chocolate pie that another reviewer mentioned. Service started out ok but towards the end our waitress was a little slow even though there were only two other occupied tables. I got up and walked the check over to the register while she watched TV.

Over priced for the quality of food and service staff in a t-shirt and shorts. $21 for 5 scallops and extra for the vegetable. Not a great deal since the food is mediocre. I had to send the soup back for tasting of raw flour.

I have been to this place many many many times and I have never been disappointed. Not sure why I haven't Yelped about it but now is the time. Last night my friend and I went there for a wine tasting and it was packed. What a great idea. Pay a fee and sample wines and order and eat on the patio. We had a blast. Being someone who loves tuna, I ordered the Ahi tuna topped with an avocado puree. O get the concept of the two flavors and textures but this was way to powerful with more than just avocado's. I think that slices of avocado would have achieved the goal. We also ordered a fried oyster po-boy and the oysters were juicy and plump. The red sauce was a mixture of a cocktail sauce and a ketchup sauce. VERY TASTY.. I enjoyed the different take on an oyster po-boy. The best was saved for the last. When you go to restaurants, they each want to make a lasting impression not only though out the meal but especially with dessert. After dinner we decided to retreat to the bar and finish our drinks. Being stuffed with wine and cheese and ahi tuna and a poboy, dessert was the last thing on my mind. But Brandi, my best friend insisted that I try his chocolate pie. I said I wasn't hungry and she just ordered it and made me taste it. THAT WAS IT. I tasted it and finished it. WOW.. It was an ancho chili and chocolate pie. The chocolate was think almost like a fudge texture and was packed with walnuts and pecans. This is a must try dessert. Don't be taken back by the ancho chili. The two flavors meld very well together and each extend the flavor and lasting of each other. A great place in a great community. Try it. It is worth the drive from LR.

Garbage! The service is horrid, waiting times are extreme and when you finally get the Ribeye special you've been waiting & paid over $32 for is unseasoned, over cooked, full of fat and covered with a can of cream of mushroom soup. The servers are unprofessional, very, very slow and lost most of the time. Even the clueless person running the bar can't make a vodka tonic correctly! Attempted to speak to a manager, but they were too afraid to come out of the kitchen and face their customers. We've given this restaurant 4 chances since moving to Maumelle 4 years ago and nothing changes; will never go again! Go elsewhere people!
