Really good Angus burgers, especially for the bargain prices. Most are under $5. The shakes are also good and come in several flavors, though the butterscotch was too mild, I thought it was closer to vanilla. The venue is a bit unusual, with a classic walk up service window and outside seating. It's got a front dining section with restrooms you have to step up into. In the back there is is a game room with a few more tables. It has pool tables, air hockey, video games, and even pinball. The tables were sticky and the place needs updating. The service was weak the first time we visited, but improved the second time when it wasn't just youngsters working. I'm still trying to decide if the food overcomes the shortcomings. Yeah, I think the burgers get them there Still, it wouldn't be too hard to step up training and make cleaning a priority. Food-4 stars, service-3 stars, building-3 stars, cleanliness-2 stars.

If I was on death row and tomorrow was the big day, I'd want one of these hamburgers. The claw machine is rigged but the swiss steak sandwich is to die for. A local treasure!

Classic dairy bar. I had a double burger with onion rings. My companion had a single burger and seasoned fries. We both had Pepsi. I ordered mine with pickles only and my companion had a bacon cheeseburger with everything but pickles. The bums had a nice crispy edge, I suspect from some time on the grill. They came exactly as ordered. My ONLY complaint was that mine had exactly two pickle slices on it. Mind you they were a high quality pickle but only two slices just wasn't enough. Meanwhile, my companions burger was loaded with toppings. The meat was a very high quality but could have used a little seasoning. Of course no seasoning is better than the ton of salt a lot of places mistake for a well seasoned burger. They advertised that the burgers were angus beef and I believe it. High quality taste and not greasy at all. My companion enjoyed hers as well. The onion rings were batter coated and were good but could have used a little longer in the fryer, as could have her seasoned fries. They were nevertheless tasty. The service is top notch and the place was spotless. The restrooms were very clean as well. They have a HUGE menu so there is something for everyone. I will without a doubt be stopping on my next trip to Marshall.

This is a fantastic place to stop on the way to Harrison. However -- I don't know where Phyllis R ate, but it certainly couldn't have been at the Daisy Queen. A plain hamburger is $2.49. The largest burger there is the Triple, and it's $5.44,

I grew up with this place. I always love to go back. Not sure what's in the pizza burger but it's good. The hamburgers are excellent. Get a milkshake to go with your order.

The food was okay but pricey. Hamburger and fries were $14 and the order of fries was very small. I guess the lack of competition allows them to price high. The service was so very slow. Don't stop if you are in a hurry. This is not fast food.

I drove into Marshall, Arkansas late one evening, looking for a cheap polace to sleep and a good place to eat. I looked around and was disappointed to find that there were very few options, and most of those were national chains--Subway and Pizza Hut being the most prominent. I asked around about a local restaurant, and everyone pointed me the same direction, to the Daisy Queen that sits on the main drag, Hwy 65. I had noticed the place, but burgers don't generally interest me--but not willing to partake of the familiar fare of Subway or Pizza Hut, I reluctantly ducked into the Daisy Queen. I can't speak to the ambiance of the place, as I just don't remember clearly, but it wasn't much to speak of--but the food I remember clearly! The hamburger was terrific!! It could have proudly served as a template for hamburgers everywhere. I'm not certain whether I might have on rare occasions had a burger this good before, but I cannot remember ever having one better! It was fabulous--Juicy, tender and full of flavor. The fries were also excellent, as was the pineapple milkshake. I also ordered a side that I cannot recall with certainty what it was, but it was good as well--maybe stir-fried veggies. That is another thing this place has going for it--many more choices for sides than you'll find at your national chain. I sat there, chomping away--lost in a reverie--reveling in the wonderful assault on my tastebuds. A throwback to the burger joints of yesterday--only better . . . but without the poodle-skirts.

Large juicy burgers and homemade onion rings. Regular order of onion rings is a little on the small side, but they offer a double order. Might wait till you eat your burger to see if you want more. French fries are good crinkle cut style. They have several kid's meal options too. Catfish and a variety of different sandwiches are available along with salads too. Of course a place like this has to have ice cream and milkshakes. Classic, delicious affordable local drive-in burger joint. Much better than the chain restaurants in town. You can get those anywhere. Stop in on your way through or when coming to float and explore the Buffalo River. Sweet local people with big smiles are eager to serve you. This may become a regular place for us when we're in the area.

There are very few places like the Daisy Queen left any more. A real classic among the generic eateries of modern America. Just do yourself a favor and slow down while your driving through Marshall and stop at this place for an awesome double or triple cheesburger. Just like you remeber when you were a kid. Everything comes wraped up in paper with a toothpick in it just like 1966. I have driven by this place for years and never stoped. Now its a rare trip up to the Ozarks that I dont go to Daisy Q. Also Frito Pie on the menu! A true southern classic.
