Pros: Its something new, the restaurant is still clean and fresh, they have one of the Coca Cola Freestyle beverage machines, they serve breakfast all day, the menu has a lot of pita varieties , and you can create your own pita with toppings. Cons: its nothing special. While I thought my pita tasted fine, it wasn't anything I would crave. I did a combo meal which meant my pita came with a bag of chips. I think they also offered soup as a side. But other than those items, that's ALL they offer. Which I guess is to be expected of a restaurant called Pita Pit. If you aren't in the mood for a pita, go elsewhere.

TL;DR Review: Mediocre, Expensive. Imagine a world in which Subway didn't have bread, and instead put your choice of ingredients in a pita. Imagine their selection of ingredients included tzatziki and hummus. Now imagine if they charged around $2-3 more for a sandwich 2/3 the size of their six inch. That's Pita Pit. It was more confusing than it should have been, but it was a totally new thing to me, so maybe that's mostly why my review is negative to begin with. I was expecting it to be more mediterranean, with Dolmades, Baba Ganouj, pita chips, etc, but there's none of that. If you go expecting those things, you're going to have a bad time, because you didn't listen to me earlier when I said that this place is Subway, but with tzatziki and hummus. The staff is friendly enough, and helpful. A girl asked me if I'd been there before, and when I told her no, she explained the process. When my food was ready came the questions about what I wanted on it. I had the Chicken Souvlaki with cucumbers, onions, red pepper hummus, and tzatziki. The sandwich was fine. It was humble and somewhat tasty, and I have a feeling it was somewhat healthy as well. But there was something missing if it aspired to be a *good* sandwich. It seemed... I don't know... dry? Like maybe it needed *more* tzatziki? My main (and really only) real gripe with the place is that the quality of food doesn't meet its price point. Maybe I got the wrong order, but at this point I really don't care. Next time I'm in the mood for Greek, there are at least four other restaurants in the same area that provide better eats for more cheaps. Yeah, I just used "cheap" as a noun. Sue me.

Stopped by here after the gym for dinner. Walked in and went to the counter. There was no one at the counter. I could here people in the back bit no one came out. Other patrons at their tables at their meals but still no one at the counter. I let out a hello that should easily be heard in the back and no one came out. So I said to hell with it and left after waiting for several mins with no response. Will not be back.

Tried a chicken souvlaki with double meat. Watching the meat being quickly grilled made me wonder if the chicken was cooked adequately when I started to eat it. Rubbery texture and lack of flavor caused my brain to say stop eating halfway through. $10 wasted.

Had a great pita meal at the Pita Pit. Just opened in January 2014 it still looks new. Interior is very clean and the food is some of the freshest next to growing it yourself. Good value for the price.

interesting idea, but bad execution. at least for what i had. i ordered a double meat gyro. i was unpleasantly surprised to see the cook just throw what looked like pre-cut rectangles of meat onto a griddle. i thought, NO MEATCONE??? WTF? i kept my thoughts to myself and figured i'd wait to get the sandwich before i judged (although the lack of a legit meatcone was a bad omen for what they purported to call a gyro). got the sandwich, took a bite, and was immediately disappointed. the meat was mushy and did not resemble the true gyro meat i am used to. you are way better off driving a mile or so down the road and eating at little greek or istanbul. much better food. i only give it 2 stars b/c i liked their concept for the toppings bar. lots of good options. might be great for a turkey pita or something. but the gyro was a giant disappointment.

I thought it was really good, they make it fresh for you and the pits is full of good stuff. The only thing I have to complain about is the staff was very friendly but they need to learn the menu. They had to get it out to see what was on the pita

By far the best pita I've had in Little Rock. I've been to all the trendy places and have been unimpressed with all of them although Layla's at least had some decent offerings. This is the first pita I've had here that I actually enjoyed eating.

The Pita Pit is fresh, delicious and healthy! So glad to finally have one in LR! My fav is the chicken souvlaki, but I really enjoyed b-fast there this am.

I decided to try Pita Pit for the first time because I was given a coupon for a free drink and wanted a new option for lunch close to where I work. I ordered online (easy) but that did require that I pay online. When I arrived to pickup my order I asked to use the coupon (not expired and I met all requirements) to get a drink and was told that I could not use it since I paid online. While the food was excellent the way they handled that situation was a little frustrating. I was given no option to pay any other way, there is not a code to enter this promotion online, and I needed to order ahead because of the amount of time I had for my break. As a new establishment I am quite surprised that they wouldn't try to handle this differently. It was inconvenient to make another stop for a drink. I will likely return but if I receive similar service next time it will be the last time.
