Arguably this place is the best Indian food you're going to find in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The spice is complex and accurate for Indian cuisine. Heat levels are gentle rather than being super spicy, but this is a good thing for the local population. They can certainly bring the noise, however, if you ask for it. I did ask for very hot, and wound up sweating, tearing, and happy. Prices are medium to low depending on what you order. I did not have the Tandoori grill, but and order of tandoori chicken went past me, and it smelled perfect. The mango lassi was thick, sweet, cooling, and delicious. Highly recommended.

This was the first place that was recommended to me when I came into town. I thought the chicken tikki masala was too sweet, I didn't like it. The chicken vindaloo was better tasting. I enjoyed the naan and samosas a lot. For the price that they charge, I felt like I was paying more for sauce than chicken. The chicken was cut really small and they didn't give much. I ordered takeout, and the dishes are packed in a pint sized container and the rice is packed separate in a styrofoam container. I heard the buffet was not that great since it sits out for a long time, so my friend prefers to order it fresh. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great compared to the places I've tried in Texas and in Philadelphia. Since this is the only Indian place here, I will come back for the naan and samosas and maybe try a different dish.

The worst service you can think of. Food is ok ok.. expensive though for the quality. Here is what one of the servers responded when asked if they could exchange the food for something else bcoz the appetizer wasn't good. "There isnt any Indian restaurant nearby Jonesboro. People who come here are mostly rednecks and dont have a choice when it comes to Indian food" and refused to replace the appetizer..

This is the ONLY Indian restaurant in town. So, until someone else can compete Tandori will get all the glory and all the stars! Located in a former "Wings To Go" restaurant in a high traffic area of town, Tandori has arrived! ... this is a much better use of this property. I have never been to India, but have enjoyed a fair amount of takeaway in the next best thing, and I think Tandoori is up to the London standard!! (Shameless brag) The "buffet" was almost embarrassingly limited. Only about 4 entrees. However the endless basmati rice, tasty naan, and Indian staples like chicken curry or tandoori were all well prepared. Service was friendly and accommodating! This place is great and definitely worth a try. For the area, prices are a bit high but definitely worth it when you need a curry in a hurry! Support this local business.

Like most restaurants in Jonesboro, this place has too many stars. Just ok, expect a rumble in the stomach after, indifferent but friendly service, a mixed bag of quality on food. In a city, this place would be unacceptable. Choose to go or not, just alright.

I have to say this is the best Indian restaurant in Jonesboro, but only because its the only one. I tried it twice and haven't been back, When I have the taste for Indian food I usually go to memphis.

Food is great. The lunch buffet has a small selection, but the menu makes up the rest. Great service too. Staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Northeast Arkansas's only Indian cuisine. It definitely does not disappoint. They offer a variety of dishes with options such as chicken, goat, seafood, & features a vegan menu as well. Naan Bread accompanied our entrée. We ordered the shrimp tikka massala & chicken vindaloo. The tikka massalla was a sweeter dish with basically no spiciness whatsoever. My only complaint with the dish was the lack of shrimp in the tikka massala. We only had about six pieces of shrimp in it, so it soon became a dish which only featured the tikka massala. Still good, but could have used more shrimp. The chicken vindaloo was our favorite dish. Both my wife and I love spicy food and order it whenever we can. We got what we asked for. The spiciness of this dish was amazing! The heat hits about 2-3 seconds after putting it in your mouth (that's what she said) and is really hot. We had tears streaming down our face, but most definitely worth it. The wait staff was nice & talkative and told us how they made their dishes and that sort of thing. Was not crowded at all which made for very attentive service.

I thought I would never touch Indian foods. Since the snow indoor was the only restaurant available except McDonald's, I went to dry this one. And now I totally fell into love with it. Buffet is 10.40 plus tax. Buffet is good to try as much curry flavor as you want.

This is our go-to Saturday lunch place! They recently moved to the old Wings-to-Go location and have greatly expanded the lunch buffet. I love this place so much and I hope more people try it. Extremely flavorful high quality food! The employees are always very welcoming and friendly and will offer help with educating you about the food and make recommendations based off your tastes. They are also vegetarian and halal friendly. Support local!

Man, what a disappointment! When I moved here from the west coast I lamented the glaring lack of ethnic food in the area, but to my surprise I found out about Tandoori. Much to my chagrin I was very disappointed. The curries seems pre cooked and reheated, and very runny. Every other Indian restaurant I've been to in the world their curry had at least a bit of viscosity to it, but Tandoori's seems very watered down. Their rice dishes are OK and the Tandoori chicken can range from acceptable to very dry and not much flavor. Another thing is the price. The lunch buffet with a drink is over $12. You might get away with that if all the food was made in house, but the buffet has little in terms of choice, and what they have is not worth $10. I'm not sure if other reviewers here haven't had Indian before elsewhere, but the food here is just not that good. The one plus is the staff is always friendly.

This was without a doubt not only the best Indian dish I have ever had but also one of the best things I've ever tasted. Tonight, the chicken tikka masala was outstanding. The samosas were good but nothing compares to the masala. Tandoori Grill is located in an old Pizza Hut building but the interior is nice and the staff is very friendly, courteous and attentive. I will definitely return every time I am in Jonesboro.
