Mediocre food that's kinda pricy for what you get. The stir fries aren't bad , so is the phad thai, but everything else just doesn't have a lot of flavor, which goes completely against thai food's MO. Do not get the curries. They are tasteless and very runny. Also if you want rice, they serve it in a huge samovar looking thing and spoon it on your plate at the table. Kinda awkward. Also the interior is very stuffy feeling. Furniture and décor make me feel like I'm somewhere way fancier, and I feel obligated to whisper because there are 2-3 parties dining in at any given time, max.

Don't come here. I returned my food because they got it wrong and my Pad Thai looked like spaghetti with Alfredo sauce. I tried to tell her that I have never seen Pad Thai like this and it was supposed to have darker sauce and flat/thick noodles. It looked nothing like every other Pad Thai I've seen. Stupid. This went from 5 stars to negative 5 stars. I wish I hadn't given them as much business as I did. This is the first time I've eaten dinner and their prices were ridiculous. Lunch isn't that bad. I'm hacked at her attitude as well. She was unwilling to compromise (I asked for a the lunch portion of pad thai) and she said "we dont do that" with a snotty tone. I won't be back and will not promote their business any further.

This is an upscale downtown restaurant serving great Thai food. Their OMG Sushi Roll is THE best! My kids love sushi, and even though I usually don't see the point, I tried the omg and it was OMG GOOD! Regular customer next to us recommended it and the Downtown Roll. My fave is the Masaman Curry. Last night I had the Shrimp and Pineapple Curry, and it was great. My daughter likes the Pad Thai, and my other daughter had her first visit last night and said she "loved that place!!" We love the Crab Rangoons and sauce that they come with. We love their Thai tea. The atmosphere is perfect for a date (if I had one lol), and also good for families also. Interesting decor, great food, great service, and a neat experience! (Five stars if they were a tad more affordable, but prices are not too bad or I wouldn't eat here.)

I have to totally agree with Justin C.'s review. The food was good but the prices were a tad ridiculous. If you are craving a nice curry but don't want to pay an arm and a leg, head to Kumarn on Stadium Blvd. across from Turtle Creek Mall and you will save about $7 per person. I do have to say the decor and wait staff are very nice. The seating is a bit cramped though. On Saturday nights they have traditional dance presentations.

We recently moved to Jonesboro from Seattle and were skeptical about trying sushi in rural Arkansas, so we were especially amazed and ever-so-pleasantly surprised with our experience at Sai Thai. The rolls we tried were delicious and artfully prepared, and rank with the sushi we enjoyed in Seattle! We look forward to returning to try more! The service was efficient, if a bit lackluster and not overly warm or friendly, and the Thai food we tried was only average, but we'll be back for the sushi, and we'll give the Thai another try. The decor is beautiful, and if there were better consistency in food quality this could become a real standout.

I have eaten in forty some odd Thai restaurants in a variety of different places. Thai is far and away my favorite type of food, and I have made it a point to try as many Thai places as I possibly can. That being said, Sai is by a considerable margin, the most expensive Thai restaurant I have ever been to. There are two places in Memphis, one just across the bridge in downtown, are both far, far better and yet are cheaper than Sai. Its not that the food at Sai is bad, its actually adequate, although I would not go so far as to say great. But it is a lot to pay for what you get, and I expect a much better quality meal for 20+ a plate at dinner and 10+ a plate for lunch. The curry dishes are a bread a butter dish for a Thai restaurant, and Sai's is lacking in both sweetness and creaminess, and they are reluctant to bump of the spice to an adequate level that you would find at a normal Thai place. The springs rolls, and the various soups that you get with your meal at lunch are both extremely tasty. If you can't venture to Memphis and you have money to blow then I guess you should check this place out, but for me for dinner I would spend the money I would save in price and drive to Memphis for much higher quality food.

Sai is the best Thai restaurant in Jonesboro, AR! (OK, it wins by default as is the ONLY Thai restaurant in Jonesboro, AR). The competition, should it ever arrive, will have a lot to prove if this is your introduction to Thai food. Sai serves very high quality dishes that the quickie noodle shops cannot measure up to. They offer everything you expect on a typical Thai menu, each well prepared and seasoned with fresh ingredients. It is a handsome place. Great attention went into every detail, copper foiled walls and a cluster of paper lanterns adorn the split level dining room. The pleasant waitstaff is dressed in traditional garments. The trendy decor, creative presentation and urban feel of Sai adds to the enjoyment of this dining experience. Service was prompt and every dish was delicious. Dinner portions garnished with vegetables carved into flowers were large enough to share. Having just recently opened, they served complimentary Tom Kha Kai to everyone at our table You can view the restaurant and a complete menu at saithaicuisine.com I recommend the "Thai Fresh Rolls" (basil rolls) , Tom Kha Gai, Pad Thai, Cashew Chicken, any spicy curry, and "Thai Broccoli Noodle" (Lad Nah). The menu contains a complete description of each dish for those unfamiliar with Thai cooking. Welcome to Jonesboro Sai! I hope you stick around. Update- Went a second time, even better than the first as our server performed Thai dancing at the front of the restaurant. It was lovely, apparently a regular feature at dinner or by request for a special occassion. Open Tuesday - Saturday 10:30-2:30 & 5-9

Have always wanted to try Sai and finally made it. But I was concerned about the fact that besides us, there was only 1 other couple in the whole restaurant... Was the universe trying to tell us something? It was a saturday night about 6pm....The waitress was very nice and quickly seated us. We ordered crab rangoon, chicken satay, Masaman curry and pepper beef. Everything was good but it was just OK. We weren't wowed by any means. The Masaman curry was ordered with medium spice and this was the plainest thing I have ever had. Cute presentation in a dish that looked like a boat but this dish "sank". The pepper beef did have good flavor and that saved my overall impression of the meal. The satay was a pretty small portion, just 3 skewers, but was hot and fresh. With what we had, I would say that I would return but skip the curry next time. But they need to work on their service... We had to call for our waitress as we saw no staff for at least 15 min. Kinda awkward when she did come over as it was clear she forgot that we were there as at this point we were the only people there.
