Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Food was exceptional, service on the other hand was terrible (this trip is the exception) we waited thirty mins on salad and bread and another fifteen minutes on the check. Booster seat had to be brought by an assistant manager. Service was sub-par for this establishment.

My wife and I ate at Olive Garden while passing through Jonesboro today. We arrived shortly after they opened at 11am. I was surprised at the number of customers that early on a Tuesday. Not packed, but definitely busy. We were shown to our table, and our waiter appeared a few seconds later. He took our drink order, and returned with the drinks quickly. We both had our meal orders ready. My wife chose the limitless soup and salad special for lunch with a side order of asparagus, and I got spaghetti and added meatballs to it. The comforting part about Olive Garden is that you go in knowing what you're getting. The salad is always great, the garlic breadsticks are warm and fresh, and my wife was raving over her soup, which was Chicken Gnocchi. She was equally pleased with the asparagus. My spaghetti was very tasty, the sauce was well seasoned, the meatballs (two) were large, and they had just the right proportion of noodles and sauce. (I hate it when there is too little or too much sauce for the amount of pasta on the plate.) Service was top-notch. We never had to ask for drink or salad refills because the waiter beat us to it. Also, one of the managers passed by our table near the end of our meal to ask if we were satisfied with everything. We rarely are in Jonesboro but wouldn't hesitate to return to this Olive Garden again.

It's the McDonald's of Italian food, hard to believe they have been around for over 30 years! Even when I lived in an area full of amazingly authentic Italian food, we still occasionally went to this Darden Empire Italian chain for the "Tour of Italy" or whatever. What addictive substance is in that salad dressing that keeps us coming back?! Real Italian food? Nope. Food? Even food you must admit you enjoy on some level? Yes! With correct expectations I don't think I have ever been disappointed by an Olive Garden. An easy go to place with visiting friends, or mom/grandma whoever you want to have a predictably decent affordable dinner with. The menu has changed a bit since my last visit, everyone left happy with their dishes and service was very good. This location has a club license so a glass of wine or beer with dinner isn't a problem. Please note- this location gets VERY crowded.

Always good food and service. Even if you're not happy they will do their best to help make it better and even bring you something new. The wait staff is very attentive and not once have I had to wait for a refill. Great place to go in Jonesboro.

First time eating at any Olive Garden...it was alright, but the price didn't really match the quality. $12 for a plate of baked ziti drowned in cheese and sauce that tastes like something out of a hamburger helper box? No thanks. The breadsticks were good, stuffed mushrooms a little bland and crispy asparagus was a bit chewy but not terrible. Service was good. The food got to the table very fast. I probably wouldn't come back though.

They really went out of their way to help host our company Christmas party. Very punctual and courteous. The staff was there for us, we had over 20 in our party and they took exceptional care of us. Lots of food! Always good stuff! Thanks so much!

Up to this point I havent given any place 1 star. Well here ya go. The managers slack, dont take care of their potential employees, and were blatantly rude to their workers. I moved my application from another Olive Garden to this one after a sudden change of plans. The manager at first was nice. She told me to come back for orientation. I was on time and I had 1 hour to get in and out of there before I made a 5 hour drive. I kid you not- I sat there for 30 minutes with only a sweet tea they offered me after 15 minutes. I got up and walked out, calling the manager later to find out they were all in a meeting. The second time I went in for orientation I waited 45 minutes- only this time I had other people (3 probably) waiting for an interview/orientaiton. I went up to the waiter, not trying to bash the messanger, and said to not expect me back here at all. To eat. To work. To use the damn bathroom. The only reason I went the second time for orientation was for the simple fact that I had just moved there and was jobless. I chose to work at Sonic before I worked for these pitiful excuses of managers. When you have a chain like Olive Garden or Red Lobster you will most always get the same kind of food and enviroment. So for chain restraunts the people is what make it or break it; the customer service and attentiveness of the staff. The kindness and genuine concern for your paying customers. This Olive Garden is just atrocious.

Not a fan. Olive Garden generally stinks. Overpriced and generic wannabe Italian. Go to Lazzari's. Get the crabmeat cannelloni.

Olive Garden is my favorite Restaurant. It is new to Jonesboro area. I normally go to Memphis, but I have visited this location about 4 times since it's opening. 3 out of the 4 times I have been satisfied. I have to admit, I am a big salad fan. I am not big on the bread sticks, I have had much better. Service is always very friendly. The bar is always great and quick to serve. The wait is long if you don't get there early. so, I really like the bar. :)

Been to the olive garden twice now and am not impressed at all! Serve is trouble didn't get our drinks til right before our food got to us and the food had been microwaved which made it taste crappy and now we all feel sick to our stomachs the only thing good about our experience was the manager paid for our food cuz I complained about how horrible it was I won't be going back

What's "al dente??", replied our untrained and naive server. Broke the cork on the wine bottle. Food was above average and served hot. Service was sluggish, uncoordinated (salad & bread came well after the main dish and we had to ask!). I'd give 'em maybe one more try, but only after they train the staff......seems they need more time.

Great food, I love Olive Garden but the wait is always SO long here that we normally order ahead of time and just do take out. But it makes it worth it instead of driving all the way to Memphis.
