After my last review I was contacted by Longhorn's PR and asked for more information about my visit and my address so that they could send me a gift card. I was so shocked by this! I can tell they really can about their costumers opinions and that means a lot to me. So I went back and tried some new items and boy was this experience a lot different! The firecracker chicken was amazing, just the right amount of spicy. And the parmesan crusted chicken, WOW! So good! I will definetly be ordering it again. The steakhouse mac and cheese was probably the best mac and cheese I've ever had! It wasn't greasy like so restaurant mac and cheese that I've had which was a major plus. Overall I'm very glad I gave Longhorn another chance and I'm very grateful to their PR team for contacting me.

Always consistent, Longhorn is a staple for getting a good steak at a reasonable price. I enjoy getting the Flo's Filet with either the loaded baked potato or the sweet potato with cinnamon sugar and butter. Sometimes they go a little heavy on their steak seasoning but overall they cook a solid steak. Also love trying some of their featured filets when they catch my eye like a steak stuffed with cheese? Yes, please! Frequently enjoy the variety of appetizers - personal faves are the corn fritters and house made kettle chips. I tend to get the French onion soup vs salad with my dinner but honestly I don't know why I keep doing this to myself - the soup is pretty plain and most of the time the cheese is already cooled off and setting up. Its OK, but nothing to write home about. I just love French onion soup so I keep hoping that they will surprise me (hint, hint). Staff at this location is always friendly. Be prepared though - always have to wait so if waiting is an issue - pick an off time to go (like before 6:30ish).

Stopped in and ordered the prime rib with steamed broccoli. I immediately noticed something was wrong with my broccoli. I sent it back and said I didn't want anything else. They gave me a 2.05 discount which I could care less about. The problem was they continued to serve that other people the rotten broccoli. One man complained and asked for butter but yet they let him keep eating it.

Terrific steak, great service. A bit loud between the crowds and the TVs. I come here frequently and am never disappointed.

Forget my life story as to why I'm here tonight....here's the "meat & potato's". I sat at the bar on a weekday night, 7PM. I ate the following, no entrees. Pros: 1. Attentive/quick bar staff, bar tender asked for my name and struck up small chat. Yay, I exist. 2.French onion soup was spot on, not too thin. Good bread & cheese layer. 3. Diamond bear IPA 4. Shrimp on the avocado stack appetizer was surprisingly fresh, like sushi grade stuff they actually cook in house. Not that precooked frozen pink/white stuff. Cons: 1. French onion soup was not hot and thus making 1 large lump of cheese on top. Had to cut through cheese with a spoon. I prefer to be "that guy" making lengthy hand gestures with my cheese on FOS. 2. Parmesan for Cesar salad was skimpy/non existent. Neutral: 1. Corn fritters were tasty. Just think deep fried, menu pictures looked less fried to me. 2. Shrimp and avocado stack chips are like deep fried noodles you put on egg drop soup at Chinese restaurants. Not ideal for my taste. I rate 4 stars, because this place is great considering the competition. I'll be back. They will be better if they take my creative criticism to heart though.

I visited one evening after clinical (my first time here), the food was great and the service was even better (I forget the server's name). Bread was kept on the table, drinks were re-filled before I had to even think about it, and to top it off, the manager personally thanked us for visiting. My only complaint is pricing, this place is a little high for my taste but it's also not an "everyday" place either. I would have a nice dinner with friends, or celebrate an occasion here.

Good food here, and decent service. I went in with a group of coworkers, and the service was kind of slow. Eventually, one guy from our group commandeered a pitcher of water and refilled our drinks himself.

Nice restaurant, but unfortunately the staff rather have you wait for service in their cold stark lobby instead of sitting at a table situated just 10 feet away. I don't get it. There were lots of empty tables, but we just couldn't sit at them. I could understand if the staff was understaffed. But that's not a reason to have us stand rather than sit comfortably at a table. I wouldn't have minded waiting at a table. No complaints on the food though. I don't usually frequent franchise restaurants but I was pleasantly surprised by Longhorn Steakhouse' food.

Disappointed...I look to Longhorn as I travel, because normally I get the perfect steak at a great price with great service. This trip in Jonesboro was FAR different than my normal experience. As I entered, there was no one at the door...long enough that I just opted myself to sit at the bar. There I waiting long enough that I wish I had looked at my watch to see just how long I sat there without being noticed. Finally someone came behind the bar, but she went up the register did something, turned around and walked away...again not even a Hello. THEN...the bartender arrived, she introduced herself, and asked for my name...then proceeded to joke with me about the amount of time it took to wait on me. It then took equally as long to get my soda, as she was distracted by anything and everything. I was presented my soup from the manager who talked about just how hot the plate was...I agree the plate was crazy hot...too bad my soup was not. Seconds later my steak appeared, and just visually I was disappointed. I asked for medium, and it was well done...as I ate the steak it dried out even more. Never once asked how my food was, so I could complain about the cold soup, or overdone steak. In the mean time the bartender continued to call me by name, which can be a great customer service tool...however she called me by name to the point is was obnoxious. I was done with my meal, she commented she'd bring me by bill, but was int interrupted by a regular with a carry out. He then became her priority and it was almost 20 minutes after I was done eating, and she knew I wanted my bill before I was cashed out. Just an ODD experience...but it made me regret my choice to eat there...and I'd think again before I went back.

I have to give it only 4 stars because I have had hit and miss experiences here. I have tried several different menus items, the pork chop entree probably being my favorite. The steaks are juicy and flavorful, I have had inconsistencies on the fineness of them though. Medium rare is sometimes on the medium side, medium is sometimes on the medium rare side etc. the service has always been an A+ every time I have visited. Great appetizers, great entrees, and great birthday ice cream dish! A little pricy for myself to visit more often, but if I could afford it, this would be a regular visit for me.

If I want steak I go here. No other place in Jonesboro cooks a cow like they do. The drinks are superbly made and tasty, never watered down. Service is excellent. Staff is friendly, polite, and your drinks are always refilled. A tad pricy, but absolutely worth it. Food is well prepared and the service is -quality-. One of the best places to eat in the area.

Sat by the bar, the staff was friendly, food took forever, food well presented, ordered the salmon, well cooked just very oily for my taste... Do not sit at the bar, infested with mosquitos got eaten alive...
