Here in the middle of the day. It's half empty and we had a twenty minute wait. Waiter forgot water first two times he returned to table. Slow to get meal. Over 110 minutes for entire meal. Brought food to table without mashed potatoes. Those would be 10 more minutes. Went without. Still got charged for potatoes. When we told waiter steak was over done he said we have lots of problems with the kitchen and steak. What? You are Outback. Oh and almost no brownie in the dessert. Two out of three woman's toilets and one sink was out of order. Manager took some off but another server said they have troubles with orders too Not best experience at this chain

The staff is fantastic! We had a large crowd (8 adults and 5 kids) and our server handled it with ease. The food came out at the same time and everyone was satisfied. He was seriously one of the best servers my family has ever had.

More than 30 minute wait for our food, Outbacker burger size disappointment, and very uncooked "medium rare" chopped steak. Waiter was nice though.

I went in on a Sunday right at opening. I wanted to beat the after church rush. I was greeted by very friendly staff and sat at the bar. I ordered a soda. The bartender waited patiently while I looked over the menu. I order the lunch special ribeye steak with french fries and a salad. I was asked if I wanted an appetizer and said no thanks and was then offered hot bread and butter. I had that while waiting for my salad. I had gotten a few tasty bites before the salad arrived. I enjoyed both. I had ordered my steak medium well and it was perfect. I don't know what spices they used but I loved it. It was cooked above apple wood flames which added to the flavor. I just wished I hadn't eaten so much bread and salad but I finished the 10 oz steak. The bill came to $24.01. It was a great dinning experience.

We went on a Sunday afternoon around 11:45. There were maybe 15 other people in restaurant. We didn't receive our food until 1:00. They were out of bloomin' onions and got several of our orders wrong. The server had to be asked several times just to bring our drinks. Will NEVER go back here again!!

Excellent service, fattiest prime rib I've ever seen. Mentioned it to the waiter, he said nothing.

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We had a party of 5, out for my father-in-law ' s birthday dinner and of course he was the one to get a completely over - done gray colored streak. He asked for a grilled medium rare steak and got a gray, looked to be a day old steak. But that's not really the bad part. He asked for a different steak and asked it to be out pretty quickly or to ge removed from ticket, shortly after the manager on duty came and threw a steak on the table and said " was that quick enough for you"? Not only was the food not good but the customer service was also horrible. We spent over $150.00 on a ticket for party of 5 and we're treated like an annoyance rather than a valued customer. I for one will not be back!!

First off the manager made it right. Overlooked steak, sent it back. Replacement overcooked as well and now so salty that is in edible. Service was at best spotty and that is with 2 waitresses covering the station. Chopped salad portion is about 50% of the previous size. The prime rib was gristly and bore no resemblance to that pictured in the menu. The margarita is about half the size of similar venues. They are going to have to up their game or Texas Roadhouse will need additional parking.

Very affordable now due to the $10 6 ounce sirloin. Service is very amicable and friendly. Quality food, often very short wait times now that Longhorn is around. Very, very solid food.

It's a chain restaurant - how much can be said? I eat here more often than I like because my local friends seem to enjoy it. The crowds are a nightmare on Friday and Saturday evenings so it's best to avoid those times. The service is generally horrible and can be attributed to the same problem that is in almost every eatery in Western Arkansas, you CAN'T take a college kid with no experience, wrap an apron around them and call them a waiter. Anymore than you can with a cook, pantry chef, etc. But low wages drive these decisions and you get what you pay for. The staff turnover (including managers) is so high here that that it hardly seems to matter. You're better off eating at the bar and avoiding the problem altogether. One of the dishes I would like to look forward to here is their rack of lamb. Unfortunately, on the three occasions I ordered it I was served raw meat. At best it had been flipped over two or three times on the grill and then sent to the table. What does this say about a "steakhouse" that can't safely cook a simple dish? On all three occasions I called a manager to the table to complain (got a different one each time). They seem totally nonplussed at my comment that people who eat such stuff often end up in the hospital. Something else worth a laugh on these occasions was the blank look on the waiter's faces when I asked for mint jelly and horseradish. You might have thought I was speaking Bulgarian. There are much better places to eat in Fort Smith for the money. Or better yet, if you have a special occasion book a table at any one of the 100 or so good restaurants in NW Arkansas. It's worth the drive.

If you've ever eaten at an Outback, you know the food. It's as good as you'll get anywhere, which is slightly above-average chain fare. I take my steak rare, my girlfriend takes her's medium-well (much to my chagrin) and they always get it just right. So, there's no worries about the food. The staff at this particular location has always been quite good. They run a bit older than your average teenage waitstaff, which shows. The management is also very solid. They will bend over backward to ensure that your meal and your experience are what they should be. If Outback is your thing, you don't even need to think twice.

Slow service. Overcooked, very thin, bone in Ribeye that would have been better suited for the sole of a boot. Absolutely full of gristle and fat. I don't send much food back but should have this time. We waited 10 minutes for a server after being seated. Another 10 for the drinks to arrive. They brought the wrong salads then another 10 minutes for the "ASAP" replacement salads to get out. The place was packed with people waiting to be seated. I don't get it. I had eaten at Outback in Tulsa on a few occasions a few years ago. The food has always been average at best. I'm not a picky eater and if this food had been worth the $55 I paid for it I would say so but this was a bad experience and with other great options in Fort Smith we won't ever be back here.

We have been huge Outback fans for years. We've eaten at Outback's throughout Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Missouri, and Kansas. We've eaten at the Fort Smith Outback a few times; most recently last weekend. It's okay, but nothing special. If I stacked ranked it with the others I've been too, it would be at or near the bottom. I guess my biggest rub is quality of service. The wait staff has never been outstanding. The food is good when it's good, but it's inconsistent.

We were staying at the La Quinta next door and decided we needed some food but since we had a dog with us, we couldn't stay and eat anywhere. ENTER CURB SIDE TAKE-AWAY! YAY! We ordered our food VIA IPHONE!!! The menu was extensive and everything was verified, asked about special instructions, confirmed, paid for, and an email confirmation was sent with our pickup time. Food was on time and cooked perfectly. Not one single thing to complain about. Silverware was even offered and it wasn't that flimsy white plastic-wear. It was pretty solid, able to cut a steak, black plastic which was great because being in a hotel, we had no other option! Picking up my steak with my hands wouldn't have been cute! This Outback wins in the take out department!

Outback at it's best. Can't believe I'm the first to review but here it goes. Terrific service, friendly staff and immaculately clean from the restrooms to the tables and the parking lot. The kitchen was quick and they hit all the quality marks, really they did a nice job. If you've eaten at other Outback's then you will not be disappointed, it could be an outback flagship store as it deploys the entire tradition and charachter you would expect and they represent the chain well.

I've eaten at this Outback several times throughout the past several years. The food is typical of the chain if you have eaten here before (not a bad thing necessarily), but the service is a gamble. Half of the time I come here its good and the other half something happens. Either my food was extremely late, or they messed up the order... I will go here with friends or family but I would stop and think to myself "hm, I think I'm in the mood for Outback!" I've been to better chain stores, but I have also been to worse.

My son & I just went here for the 1st time last weekend & will not be going back. They seated us; it took a good 15 mins before the waiter came to get our drink order, another 10-15 to bring the drinks to us. We ordered an appetizer, it came out with our food & was cold! (Obviously was sitting in the back for a while). We never were offered refills on our drinks; & when I paid, it took forever to get my debit card back. (They said their machine was messed up; just makes me nervous, thinking maybe someone is copying my info!) The only good thing is that the manager comped our appetizer since it was not brought to us in a timely manner. I don't see myself going back there at all! Lousy, lousy service!
