I love love Aj's! For sure my favorite place in Ft.Smith. They have the best crab cakes I've ever tried not to mention they are very good in size & the shrimp and grits are also amazing. Oh and the buffalo oysters-WOW! I haven't had anything here that I didn't like. If you have to wait, it's worth it!

Awesome! Great find in a cool area. Excellent service. Oysters were tasty. Shrimp n cheese grits were outstanding.

We had lunch at AJ's last week and were thoroughly impressed! For our appetizer we ordered the crab cakes...just a warning...they are huge!! Very good value for money there :) He ordered the Arkansas Gumbo and loved it and I ordered the fish and chips. I liked the fish and chips but I am looking forward to trying other items on the menu...specifically the oysters (they were out of them when we went). I think I will be waiting until colder months to try their oysters since they get them from the Gulf and it is July. I know the old standard of only eating oysters during months ending with "R" is outdated since we have reliable methods of transporting and keeping the oysters cold but in general oysters taste better in colder months. Just like with anything seasonal, you want to wait until they are in their prime to enjoy! All in all I was very pleased with the service, food and atmosphere. It's so nice to have another yummy restaurant open up downtown!! :)

I can't get enough of this place. We have visited here since they opened and still, they have the most fresh food that I've ever eaten at a restaurant. Everything we have eaten has been excellent. LOVE the oysters on the half shell. Catfish will make you melt out of your seat. Salads are fresh, not stored in a cooler somewhere. Everything is made when you order it. So, so, so, so good. Bread/buns are so soft and fresh. Staff is very friendly and quick as can be. You shouldn't miss this place.

great place, good music. Had the oysters rockefellar and the shrimp and grits. It was great!! Wish we had a place like this in Northwest Arkansas!
