Best sandwich and bread place ever! I'm only in Arkansas about twice a year and make it a point to go as far out of my way as needed to make it here. They have the best bread I've ever tasted and the sandwiches are out of this world. The owners and staff are courteous and the food is quick. Be ready for a bit of a crowd if you arrive at lunch time, but it is well worth it.

Staff was rude and unhelpful. My first time here and will not come again. I got half the chicken salad sandwich, the chicken salad is comparable to the ones you can purchase at Walmart, no lettuce or tomatoes, the whole sandwich is just bread and the poorly made chicken salad. I also got the creamy chicken noodle soup, the noodles were all stuck together, was not very appetizing when the clumps are noodles are bigger than the chicken. Flavor was ok, but the big chunks of noodles stuck together was not the most appetizing.

There is not much to say about this lovely bakery. You have to taste it. The sourdough and onion herb rye bread. WOW! Don't miss it!

Cute little bakery with delicious sandwiches and soups. I had the West Coast Special, that was on a spinach feta bread (whaaaat?) And was quite tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we got some bread for the road.

I visited around 1pm on a Saturday, so there was quite the busy lunch crowd. I ordered to-go and waited no more than 7 mins. I got the chicken salad supreme and it was SO good! I honestly think the cranberry pecan bread was what I loved more than the actual chicken salad, but I enjoyed the whole thing nonetheless. And that oatmeal cookie was to die for! I definitely recommend.

I got the pound of Chicken Salad and the Cranberry Pecan bread for one of the Lunch and Learn meetings. The office was super excited and raved about it. So- I returned after my meeting and had the same sandwich - and wow - it's good. It's sweet - which makes me think of something I saw on "Buzzfeed" - but I like it that way. I sat at a large table and chatted with another customer. It was later in the afternoon and it was so nice just to talk. It was a very comfortable environment - and even though I think they might have been closed by the time we were leaving... they never rushed us out. Thanks!

Stopping thru town & decided on here for a quick lunch. I expected a sit down place but just know you order at the counter then find a seat. Beware, small dining area with maybe 7 tables but there are a few more outside. I saw a few people recommended the chicken salad on cranberry pecan bread. Besides being a little light on the chicken salad (which is rather tasty & just how I like it), it was a very good sandwich. I even bought a loaf of the cranberry pecan on my way out. It's great lightly toasted with butter. My only complaint is they seem slim on the actual sandwich fillings. 2 half sandwiches with pickle, chips & refillable drinks right about $15. Not bad, I think. Filling, satisfying & no sluggish feeling like eating a fast food burger. I'd like to try more bread selections, wish they shipped out. The website could use updating but overall a nice place to stop & I'll try it again.

The chicken salad on cranberry bread is WAYY TOO GOOD. If you havent tried this place, please do...your taste buds will thank you!

TRY THE CAJUN SPECIAL!! That's the only thing that I have ever ordered there and it's divine....I literally went everyday for two months just to eat that delicious sandwich. Seriously though, if you don't like that sandwich there is something wrong with you...lol

Had the Bacon Breakfast sandwich and biscuits and gravy. Both were very good and a great value.

The bread here must be good if you see one of their delivery vans providing the bread for one of the higher-class hotels in downtown Fayetteville (which I did.) I just ate at the Stone Mill Bread & Flour Company myself, and now I understand why the hotel chooses Stone Mill's bread: it is good! Stone Mill serves Boar's Head-brand deli meats on their sandwiches. I've had the meat before: the meat was great where I had it before, and the meat is great here. However, in a place that has such good products, I'm not a fan of the fact that I was served a "vending machine" bag of a popular brand of "ruffled" potato chips. I like the "ruffled" potato chips, but I would have expected some sort of "kettle-cooked" type of potato chips served here; the "ruffled" potato chips just do not fit the ambiance of this place.

Clean, friendly and quick service. I stop frequently to pick up different breads and pastries often. My favorite sandwich is the chicken salad on the cranberry bread OMG this is heaven!!!!!

Ate here on a Wednesday for lunch to wait out a rain shower. I had the harvest sandwich, spinach mushrooms and bean sprouts, and my wife the BALT, bacon with avocado. Both were very good, and came with chips, pickle and a cookie. There is not much dining room space, since the establishment is a working bakery, so be prepared to eat on the patio or take it with you. Service was very friendly, and the restaurant clean. Food was very good, and both sandwiches come recommended from us. We will probably go here from now on instead of Panera Bread, which seems to be a little pricey and over inflated.

Pleasantly surprised by this establishment in Arkansas. I was not expecting too many unique local places during my business trip down to NW Arkansas, but this shifted my perception. Great breakfast sandwiches, and the aroma of fresh baked bread wakes you up in the morning! I recommend this place for breakfast if you don't want to go to Starbucks or Panera.

i thought this would be a lot like Great Harvest, which is a chain. Not to say in any way that it is sub par, b/c the family that owns the Great Harvest in my city does an excellent job. There were a lot of options at Stone Mill, and it has the same additive free, natural ideology as GH. But whereas GH provides generous samples of their products, Stone Mill does not. If I'm going to pay that much for a bread, I want to know I like it before committing to an entire loaf. Plus, when I asked for unsliced bread, they told me that I would've had to ordered it earlier, b/c all their bread comes sliced. I prefer my breads toasted, but with a nice fluffy interior, so I prefer to cut my bread thick. They have plenty of unsliced bread in the back, since they bake all day long, but apparently, rules are rules. So instead, I ordered a kolache, which turned out ok. I had better at the Golden Kolache Bakery. I definitely want to give them another try though. I still don't see myself buying a loaf, but I'll do a sandwich so I can try the bread. Also, their biscuit and gravy looks really enticing. And if I like it a lot, I can buy the biscuits frozen. Their breakfast menu is small, but the prices are more than reasonable.

Good breakfast sandwich, although in retrospect I wish it were offered with a choice of one of their specialty breads instead of toast.

I don't have much to say, as I have only tried the bread. With that said- the bread is delicious! You can't go wrong with the Jalapeño Three Cheese. Looking at their menu, I would have loved to try some others, such as the Cranberry Orange, Sour Cream Pecan, Peaches & Cream, or Strawberries & Cream - but the options were few during my visit. (By the way, I have a feeling that they are associated with Old Mill Bread & Bakery in Little Rock, as the flavors, marketing, and packaging are basically the same. No complaints, as I love Old Mill Bakery, too!)

Their bread it's absolutely awesome. Their sandwiches are some of the best I've ever had. I never go to Fayetteville, Arkansas that I don't stop in for bread to take back to Dallas. They have specialty breads so they aren't cheap. However, I think they are worth every penny.

Bread! Stone Mill does it right. Every one of their baked goods that I've tried has been excellent - from their bread, to their cookies (free one with every sandwich), to their amazeballs white chocolate raspberry scones. They have great soups as well, and you can't go wrong with a soup/sandwich combo for lunch. Fresh and local? Come on. It's a winner.

Stopped in for lunch today. I was very impressed with the quality of the sandwiches (great ingredients). The bread was delicious, so I purchased a loaf to take home. I think their products are GMO free per the advertising on some of their products. Will definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu!

Bread and sandwiches were pretty good, but i think expensive for what you get. Service staff is efficient but not very friendly. Very few seats if you are having lunch there.

Kolache!!!! Love this place! Breakfast, brunch, and lunch are all great reasons to visit (2nd breakfast anyone?). They have muffins, homemade breads, sandwiches, soups, cookies, and more. The kolache (a glorified pig-in-a-blanket) is awesome -- get the jalepeno version if you like a little bit of spiciness. Fave dish: cranberry bread chicken salad sandwhich. Comes with cookie and chips, and I like to get the lemonade as well. And like every place that serves breakfast, serving coffee is a must. Con: not a lot of great seating inside - it can get crowded if theirs a line at the register. Pros: Near the bike trail, outdoor deck, delish fooooood!

Great coffee, friendly service and good music covering an array of genres. A free range egg with a biscuit is $1.15. An outstanding value. The surrounding area is green and lush - an in the country feel but close to town. Kudos for not having a tv. I can't come up with any negatives. We will definitely eat here every time we visit Fayetteville.

I first tried the stone mill bread brand when I found it at a local mom/pop grocery store in Bentonville... To my surprise, the actual bakery was right around the corner from my house! This family run bake shop became a frequent stop ( at least weekly) to buy FRESH home-baked breads (rosemary, challah, garlic, olive, stone-ground wheat), foccaccia pizzas, and the most delicious, moistest scones I have EVER eaten... I still crave the white chocolate raspberry - and heated just a tad, the chocolate just melts in your mouth! I have yet to find another scone this good - and they are HUGE! ( this review is making my mouth water!) Everything goes fast, so you have to go early in the morning... they a nice variety of sandwiches, soups and breakfast items - but seriously, GO HERE FOR THE BREAD AND THE SCONES!!! Everyone is always friendly and polite. I'm in NYC now and I really miss this place!! That says a lot when you live in a city that has everything!

The products are very good, but come on...the prices are slightly ridiculous. You'd be better off making your own from scratch...soaking your grains for better health...and enriching your life through the experience.

This is a great place for a great home made sandwich or bread. Their kolaches are excellent as are the pastry type desserts and sweet breads. Great for lunch, call in your order and take it to go, or sit on the patio if the weather is nice. It is a small place, so it's more convenient on off hours. Delicious!
(4)Kimberly J.
I love this place!!! Seriously good bread and baked goods!!! Plus amazing soups, salads, and sandwiches!!! Ahhhh amazing cookies! This place definitely rocks! If you have not tried this place for lunch...DO IT NOW!! Sooo great! Or simply start buying your bread locally....amazing!

Bread! Bread! Bread! And I love them all! Delicious selection of bread. Choose a bread and make a tasty turkey sandwich. I'm a big fan of peanut butter and jelly, and for some reason they always taste better here. Did I mention their cookies?! Awesome oatmeal cookies, chocolate chip, and macadamia nut.
