Excellent food, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. The only negative comment I have is that it's a bit over priced. Worth a try though if you haven't been!

I didn't really think it would be possible to find an Italian restaurant less Italian than Olive Garden, but this one is. Honestly, it tasted like Chef Boyardee- sorry. The gravy was too sweet, the bruchetta was terrible, and the cocktails were down right awful. After I had a Blue Hawaiian- yuck- I decided to stick with the easiest drink there is, a martini. The waiter asked me if I just wanted a shot in a cold glass or what? I said Grey Goose martini straight up- I got a cold glass with straight vodka, no Vermouth or olive. Don't sit on the patio unless you want to obtain super powers from the hundred giant spiders waiting to bite you. All that and it was $100 for 3 people - wish I could get my money back. Step up your game Noodles - there isn't even any fresh seafood on your menu! Where's the clams and mussels?

First time visit with my wife........and our last as well. When we walked in, the place looked lovely. Nice decor, seated immediately. After we were seated, we had no server for almost 10min. We had to ask someone if we were going to be served or not. Tacky. Once the server came, service was prompt. When the bread and dip came, we were initially excited, then we tasted it. Bread tasted old, not fresh. The olive oil dip had so many spices in it that there was literally no flavor. So we stopped eating that. Eww.... My wife ordered Half Pizza supreme and Half Salad Italian. Salad was good. Pizza was bland and tasteless (seeing a theme, yet?). Presentation was also poor. Looked like warmed up pizza from Walmart frozen food section. I ordered spinach bacon ravioli. It's was ok. I've had better, the sauce seemed canned and the pasta tasted like I was also from Walmart. If it was homemade.......well, I doubt it. Finally, the ravioli was over linguini. That is weird. So, atmosphere was good. Food was mostly blah. Not recommended. Will not return on my own dollar.

I am surprised to see the number of negative reviews on this Fayetteville classic. Noodles is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Fayetteville. I no longer live in the area, but always make sure to make a trip to Noodles when I am in town. The atmosphere is perfect for a date, or for dinner with a group of friends or family. The patio is also a beautiful change of pace during warmer weather. I've eaten at this restaurant probably at least 15 times (if not more), and I can't really recall a time that i've had a bad experience with the service. Yes, on a weekend you might have to wait a bit for a table, or maybe the service might be a little slower than on a week night, but that's to be expected. I've always been very pleased with the service, and if I wasn't, the food made up for it. Every time I come here, I never know what to order as i've found myself three favorites over the years. I try to branch out and order new things, but I love these three dishes so much that it's hard to move onto something new. My favorites: - Jalapeno Lime Chicken: This is one of the most unique dishes I have ever had. I've never seen anything like it elsewhere, and I have tried a number of times to replicate it. It never comes anywhere close. The grilled flavor of the chicken pairs perfectly with the creamy jalapeno lime sauce. It's a must try! They've recently started offering Jalapeno Lime Chicken Parmesan. While it is good, I think the grilled chicken wins hands down. -Portobello Mushroom and Chicken Ravioli: The marsala cream sauce on this dish leaves me wanting to lick my plate clean every time. Delicious! -Eggplant Parmesan: My eggplant has always been perfectly cooked and nice and crispy when it reaches the table. Not much more to say about it. It's always a pleaser for me. These three dishes are by far my favorites (especially the first two!), although, there are others worth mentioning. The artichoke spinach pasta is the number one seller. I think this dish is great (I like to order it with grilled chicken instead of baked chicken), but I just love the others so much I never end up ordering this. Other dishes that I've enjoyed from here are the spaghetti feast, penne vodka, chicken cesar salad, toasted ravioli, fried calamari, artichoke spinach dip, and though i've yet to try them, i've heard the mama's pot roast nachos are fantastic. They also have a wide selection of drinks and often have good drink specials. Looking forward to my next trip to Fayetteville so I can visit this excellent restaurant!

Love love the spinach artichoke pasta! My absolute omg fave. It's hard for me to choose italian over other choices because I usually leave disappointed. Not the case at Noodles. I usually get the same thing here when I visit to make sure Iove it. Their bruschetta is good too.

The Salmon diablo LC-style was delish! The sauce was the perfect combination of spicy and creamy, paring great with the grilled salmon. I'd argue LC- style (veggies rather than pasta) is the tastier way to go. Be sure to ask for it all mixed together, so you get diablo with every bite. Portions are generous, I took home enough leftovers for a second meal. Good for a date, but if you have to take the kiddos the tables are covered in paper and they can doodle away.

All I gotta say is if you come here, come hungry! They give you really big proportions! They bring you out a basket of bread and there's like 8 pieces of different kinds in there. The spaghetti bowl is BIG. Really BIG. It's not too expensive and I always feel like I'm getting a lot of food for the price. They have a table with paper on it and you can color on it with crayons. The room is completely candle-lit so it looks fairly dark in there. Nice for a romantic dinner. The bathrooms are really cool. The men's rooms have flat screens and the women's rooms have saloon swinging doors on each stall, and really funky sinks to mess with. With that said I only have a couple of complaints. There's been times I got witty salad, and once I got old ranch dressing, that tasted really stale (ew). I don't think it's professional being on your cell phone texting around the preparation table, but I'm not going to be anal about that. Every restaurant has their kinks and flaws but really it is a nice environment and the staff from what I had has always been friendly to me.

Noodles is a Fayetteville establishment with pretty good food. It is mid tier in terms of pricing but has a nice, dark atmosphere. I'd choose it over Olive Garden any day. There is plenty of room for large groups and a great outdoor area. One of my favorite dishes there is the jalepeno lime chicken pasta...tasty!

I'm a seasoned business traveler so I eat out very often. The Marriott Courtyard recommended so I went. Ate at the bar which is something I do often. The bartender was Sam and I was the only one at the bar at 6:45 pm ordered glass of wine and dinner. He was very aloof, almost unfriendly which is so uncommon. Usually in this area with many hotels in the area, its common to see business people eating solo at the bar or a high-top. Only 2 high tops were occupied and I was only one at bar. Could be a reason for lack of people...Sam's attitude was that he couldn't wait to get me in and out. Someone came into the bar to order take out and have a drink, the host followed him in and said 'oh no, you have to order take out at the front." The guy said well I'd like to order a drink while I order my take out. Bartender ignored him so he left. I am sorry for the negative review but this was so different and not at all positive, I have to warn fellow business travelers.

Good food, but hey folks, if we show up 30 minutes before closing, either treat us as nicely as you do throughout the day, or close 30 minutes earlier. We don't need to hear your snirky comments about coworkers either. With Olive Garden, we just don't need the attitude.

I'll give it four stars. This looked to be the only local restaurant in a sea of chain restaurants, so I was relieved to find Noodles Italian Kitchen! It's not the best Italian I've eaten, but was decent. I ordered a chicken and pasta dish. Pretty generic order, pretty generic tasting meal. The meal was lacking the zip of flavor that I was hoping it would have. The bread and salad was awesome. My server was kind and attentive. If I'm ever in Fayetteville again, I would go back and try a more jazzed up meal.

The place looks beautiful, but the food did not match up. I ordered the fettuccine with chicken and broccoli. The chicken tasted boiled and dry and the sauce was watery and spicy. The dipping oil for the bread had a sour taste to it and the tomatoes on the salad tasted pickled (not a fan). Overall the fettuccine tasted like TV dinner food....or worse. I won't go again.

As anyone can see by reading the reviews of Noodles, you'll quickly see there's very little consistently in the reviews. Unfortunately these inconsistencies are in tune with the service and food. We've dined Noodles for years, even as far back when it was on College. The food has generally always been more consistent than the service. And as anyone that knows anything about the restaurant business...consistently all around is key to the success of any restaurant. We decided to take a friend / family member there this past weekend, he had never been. So let me lay out how this went. The place was dead, only a few tables were occupied. We were seated fairly quickly. The first of three servers we were given asked us about drinks...we ordered a bottle of wine that the server promptly broke the cork half off, had a bar server come do it. We never got any bread or olive oil. We asked for four waters with NO lemon, that's just gross, who knows where those lemons have been. They all came with TWO lemon slices in each glass. Then we ordered appetizers which were correct and good. Then we were asked over and over if we wanted to order entrées? We've learned in NW Ark not to order entrées until you're at least half way done with apps because most servers don't umderstand how to mange a table order and you'll have your entree brought on top of your apps. Then we were informed that a new server would be taking over so the other could leave because she was tired. Then they brought salads, one Country Italian, one Greek and one House with no tomatoes. Well...I don't know if a Country Italian Salad is supposed to be wilted and squishy but that's how it came, I didn't eat it and was not offered any concern to why. And the House Salad came with tomatoes, it was sent back. Our second server informed us she just had a large table seated but would take our order for entrées. When she left she never returned, we were out of water and wine. She was hanging out and talking to the large group that was seated. We managed to get the attention of another server to ask ours to come to the table. She never did, finally the bar server that opened our wine showed up. He asked if our dining experience was going ok...I quickly told him that no it was not and that we may just get our checks so we could leave and go someplace that appreciated our business. He quickly took over for the ineptitude of the second server. He got us another bottle of wine and filled water glasses. He and the manager quickly brought our food which was good. We asked for two togo bixes and got one...finally got our own. The over all experience was not good. The food was ok but didn't make up for the shear lackluster service. Unfortunately this is fairly common in a college town with servers that have no clue what the term service industry means.

I am updating my Noodles review and increasing the rating. We have eaten there multiple times lately and both the food and service have improved. I love their angel hair pasta with spicy marinara and grilled chicken - not on the menu but they will just add the chicken to the pasta and spice it up a little. My wife orders different items each time and liked them all. The bread was excellent as usual and very fresh and my salads were fresh and tasty. Our new favorite dessert is to split the molten chocolate cake with ice cream and real whipped cream - and take half our entrees home to leave room for dessert.

My daughter and I stopped here on a girls day to eat. I ordered lasagna after making sure that I could get it meat-free as I am vegetarian. I double checked that there was no meat in the sauce and no meat in the lasagna. When I received my order, my lasagna was COVERED in meat sauce. I sent it back with the waiter for a replacement. He came back and told me that the manager said "There is no meat in that lasagna." WHAT? I have cooked for 20 years, still cook meat for my family, I tasted it, and my daughter tasted it. I know what meat tastes and looks like! I asked to speak to the manager. He stated again that there was no meat in my lasagna. He went as far as to say that he double checked with the kitchen staff and that they assured him that they did not pour meat sauce on the lasagna. So.... I'm a liar and don't know what meat looks like? I was in shock! What I was willing to chalk up to a simple mistake got turned into the manager telling me I didn't see what I did see! I tried to stop and talk to him again on the way out to explain my perspective as a customer. I tried to explain to him that the right thing to do is just to apologize, replace my meal, and move on. He still stood to his belief that my lasagna did not have meat in it. (That he never personally saw himself.) I explained to him that he was basically calling me a liar, and his stance still did not change. We will never eat here again. The prices/food were ok, but the service is definitely not worth it. I really was just in disbelief. I have never, ever received that kind of treatment anywhere. Customer service 101!

My daughters and I lived in Fayetteville and Springdale for a while before we m oved back to Texas. We really miss this place...this is an awesome place to dine. The spicy marinara shrimp is awesome and there is always enough sauce to cover those delicious noodles! The sauce is always aromatic! The bread and dipping oil is soooo good! The waitstaff is the best! The manager is an awesome lady! Great ambiance and the patio area is so beautiful! They make sure that the portions are plentiful and worth every bite! It also doesn't hurt that the owner is from Texas! ;-)

Used to really like Noodles, but the food quality has truly fallen. We ordered salads and the lettuce should have been thrown out not sold. Chicken dish we had was fair.

Initial thoughts....not impressed. Both the fiancee and I were craving spaghetti and meat so we both ate the Spaghetti Feast. It was Good but not great. Not the best Italian I've ever had (see Chicago) but it was decent. Major con for me: the bathrooms. It stank worse than a port-a-potty and none of the toilets had water/were flushing correctly. Bottom line: Would I go again? Only if I weren't footing the bill.

To start the evening out wrong the music was techno Christmas and too loud. The bread was served cold. The potato soup was grainy. The food very average.

I have been here twice (each time I visited Fayetteville) and have been pleased with both visits. Great location, great service, great food, great atmosphere - plain and simple. Although they were busy both times I came, it never seemed like I or other customers had to wait very long to be seated. And the service I received was very good both times. Let me first say, their bread appetizer is the best around! Focaccia with olive oil and maybe red vinegar dipping sauce? Not sure, but it is tasty! My entree was also served with a good sized side salad. I tried the lasagna during one visit, and the chicken & veggie spaghetti (with marinara sauce added) the next. Both were good; however, I must admit, the less healthy entree (the lasagna of course) was much better. I don't visit Fayetteville often, but I can't wait for my next visit to Noodles!

Service was good. Food was mediocre. The red sauce was among the worst I've ever had - similar to a cheap grocery store spaghetti sauce. I also had the eggplant parmesan which had a good texture but was very bland. Given the popularity of the restaurant (25 min wait on Saturday at 7) it seems like people who live here must not have a lot of better alternatives.

We were shopping down in Fayetteville & I hadn't had an opportunity to eat at Noodles in quite some time so we stopped in for dinner. Breads were excellent, entrees were good. Greek salad was wilted. I asked her to bring me a Ceasar salad instead & that was even more wilted. Disappointing. Worst part was the dipping oil at the beginning of the meal. I knew it wasn't pure virgin olive oil so I asked her (Johannah) what the oil was & she said it was a mixture of canola oil & olive oil. I never eat canola oil. I especially disliked the extra oily taste. I missed having the extra virgin olive oil as a dipping oil for the bread. What puzzles me is that I paid for a $19.99 entree & got a McDonald's appetizer. Too bad.

I've gone to Noodles several times, and I think the food is really good. The quality is much higher than a lot of other Italian places I've been to. The atmosphere is nice, and the service is fast and efficient. The hosts are also friendly which is rare, in my opinion.

I went there alone last week. The place was packed! Service was relatively good. Took a while for the food but not unreasonable in the wait. I felt the food was just not so great. I think it had too much of something and not enough of another...what those things were I couldn't tell you. But I was fairly disappointed in the taste.

Address is now 3748 N Mall Ave [by the WalMart/Target]. Just made it to the new location, same good Italian food, lots of bread and olive oil, good service, and delicious pasta. Much preferable to say Olive Garden if you are near the NWARK mall and want Italian food.

Wow...what a testament to how sometimes these reviews can be mis-leading. Up in the area for the weekend getting acclimated to Fayetteville for my daughter stating college here in the fall. Looked on Yelp last minute for an Italian place up north. Noodles came up with 4+ stars overall, so I thought...well, anything is better than Olive Garden. Geez, ends up being a toss up on which one I'd rather go to. First off...beautiful day in Fayetteville, so we asked to sit out on the patio. "We're not opening it until tomorrow..." Really????? As beautiful a string of days this area had experienced this week, and they don't have the patio open??? (there is no better way to lose revenue than not capitalizing on a great dining option. Sounds to me like it was more a case of too much staff called off...St. Patty's Day...and so they decided to make that claim) Waited a good 10 minutes for a table. Once we got to our table, the restaurant certainly was not full enough to warrant a 10 minute wait for a table of 4. Our server...I'll spare the embarrassment of putting her name here...was the next kink in the armor of this Macaroni Grill knockoff. She was horrific! Couldn't remember our drink orders, even after she apparently wrote them down. The beer I ordered was on the bottled beer list, yet she asked me what size I wanted. Came back to the table after we got our app...I'll get into that atrocity later...and couldn't remember if she even took our entree orders yet. (which she hadn't) So, the appetizer. Ordered some of the bruschetta, and it arrived as a pile of diced tomatoes surrounded by a mountain of stale, baked, sliced bread. First off, the flavors were awful, and the proportions alone were way out of whack. There was enough tomato for about 6 of those bread slices, not 60! The table next to us left, and we just put that horrid plate on their table (which sat un-bussed throughout the entirety of the meal...10 minute wait. Hah!) The only reason this place got two stars is because I'll give credit to some of the flavors. Well, only on the jalapeno lime chicken. The spaghetti sauce was way too sweet. The chicken alfredo was decent. The chicken marsala should've been call chicken & marsala syrup. Ungodly sweet...that's not how chicken marsala should taste. Decor was this wide open noisy space, and adding to the chaotic noise level was the fact that they had no sort of pads on the chair legs, so anyone moving their chair created a "fingernail on chalkboard" screech! We had to be honest and tell people walking in as we were leaving to not even bother with going in. (not sure if anyone listened to us or not. But I'm willing to bet that after their dinner they were kicking themselves for not listening.) Ugh! Go out of business already, and save Fayetteville future disappointment.

The place on the outside looks like 1 small original building with add ons that never blends in. The inside was very spacious, the food was ooook. I had the spaghetti feast and I would say I have had better at olive garden, keep in mind I don't like olive garden. The feast came with two meatballs and a sausage. Clearly the cook was thinking about a cock and balls when he was putting the dish together. What got this place 3 stars from me was the calamari. Because so many places screw this dish up, anyone that can do it right gets two thumbs up from me. The calamari was lightly battered, fried perfectly and very tender.

I eat at Noodles probably 8-10 times a year and this past weekend was my most recent trip. I must say, it has had some ups and downs through the years with both food quality and service, but the last 3 or 4 times I have been they have been right on point. This last trip was excellent and the service was great. Our waitress was one of the best I have had anywhere in a long time. There when you need something, but not hovering all over you. The food was very good this trip also. I must admit, I usually stick with my favorites at Noodles (BBQ Chicken Pizza, Spinach Artichoke Dip, or 3 Cheese Manicotti) since I know how much I like all these. I decided to step out of the box a little and went with the Chicken Marsala this time and I was very happy with my choice. It was cooked perfectly and the taste was outstanding. Our table also had the Bacon and Spinach Ravioli, which I also like a lot, Chicken Parm with Vodka sauce, which I tried and thought it tasted great, and Alfredo with grilled chicken. It was a great time and the service and food was great also. Glad to see Noodles has it all together again. It still beats the heck out of the Olive Garden in my book.

I've been here many times and it has always been very good. I ordered a steak which I will not do again. If you want a great steak this is not a good place to get one. Everything else was wonderful. Get the parm garlic cheese bread!!

Boring Italian-inspired cuisine straight from the freezer to the microwave. The service is reasonable considering the restaurant is staffed by high school kids. It's a good choice for a large family gathering as the tables are enormous and flavors are sufficiently bland for grandma and gramps.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Great food, great service, very clean place. Awesome old school italian music. I had the spicy shrimp pasta. It was perfect. Have been here 2 times now and they are on top of it! If you are in the area do yourself a flavor and check out noodles. Locally owned and operated! :-)

Jessie L likes Cici's pizza and considers it a great place to go... well I think that tells you how delectable her palate is. NOODLES ROCKS OLIVE GARDEN's ASS!!! Sure, about 3 years ago Noodles went through a period where their food and service waned a bit but I eat at both places A LOT and I can tell you that Noodle's food has more flavor and is overall WAY better than Olive Garden. Don't get me wrong I love OG's Soup, Salad, & Bread Sticks deal and a few other things on the menu but for a semi-unique setting and better food I say Noodles all the way!

Look, if you aren't getting the Artichoke Spinach Pasta, you will have a 2-3* experience. It is one of my favorite all time dishes. There are other items on the menu that are decent, but each time I have ordered something other than artichoke spinach pasta (also has chicken in it) I left wishing I had just stuck with my fav. I give it 4* only because, to me, there is only 1 dish worth ordering, but it is excellent. The atmosphere is nice. They have a nice patio in the back when the weather permits.

The food is ok here. It's not as good as the Olive Garden around the corner. I can say they have excellent toasted ravioli's. I can eat a whole order of those and then some all by myself. The service is so so, sometimes it's great, sometimes it's crappy! I have usually gotten ok service until the last time I was there. The last time I went I was with three of my close friends and I ordered chicken fettuccine alfredo. The chicken in my alfredo was NOT cooked thoroughly. I notified my server after many tries to get her attention, who by the way was more worried about her large party than she was with a four person table. The server apologized and went back to her larger table. I was then forced to stop a male server walking by to have him retrieve the manager. I explained to the female manager what the situation was and she asked what was wrong with the chicken, it looked just fine. She didn't offer to replace or fix my meal! Ugh! Then a friend of mine asked her to replace our server because she did nothing about my meal and my friend had been out of her drink for quite some time, and we were all running pretty low and our server was neglecting our table. The manager replied, "well she has a bigger table over there," and walked away. My friends and I told another server to bring us our check immediately and were about to leave when the manager walks over and asks us if we want a piece of cake? I mean seriously? One piece of cake is not going to make up for that crappy service. Needless to say, they pissed me off and I haven't been back since.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
