Greek Cuisine
Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.
Today, you can find hundreds of restaurants offering authentic Greek food or popularly termed as Mediterranean cuisine in New York city alone. People wait in line to taste the exotic Greek dishes like saganaki, taramasalata, souvlaki, loukoumades, spanakopita, moussaka, and many more. One thing which most people like about these authentic Greek dishes is abundant use of lemon juice, olive oil, fresh rosemary and sea salt. A smart mix of few ingredients can virtually take you on the pebble streets of beautiful city of Greece.
For those who don't have time to enjoy fine dining should try tasting the famous souvlaki with pita which is type of meat dish, also a trademark Greek fast food. For those who are vegetarian, or vegan can try different versions of Greek Salad. So, if you wish to enjoy a hearty yet healthy meal that tastes divine then try dining at the best Greek restaurant in your city. damn good Gyros!

Great food, horrible atmosphere. Feels like a fast food restaurant, tastes like a great restaurant. Gyros, sticks of meat, dips, all great. I would recommend getting it to go because it used to be an Arby's (?) and still has that fast food feeling.

I'll start off by saying that I didn't actually eat here but even I'll admit that it looked like a decent place to eat. I was with a friend ans we went in to get a latte. Unfortunately, it took 10 minutes and it was pretty much the worst latte I've ever had. I know, I know, order a latte in a Greek place, what can you expect? Fully understandable. The one thing that is not understandable was even though the coffee sucked, being a Greek, I wanted to meet the Greek owner, Michael, that I could see through the window 10 feet away preparing the coffee. The cashier comes back and tells me he's very busy ( Dude, it was 11am and I could practically see you scratching them) and if I had anything to say, she would relay the message. I see people like the food on here. Good for you and I hope you continue doing well but as a customer service guy, you suck the large loukaniko.

I've had some damn good gyros in my day, and these are among the best. Highly recommend!

They have recently relocated from Dickson St. to College Ave. Went here with a good buddy last week and had a good time eating their delicious tasting lamb gyros and fries. I challenge you to find a better Greek restaurant that can serve this many people so well and so quickly for lunch! Check it out for yourself though and you'll be glad you did!

This place consistently hits the spot for a meaty dish that doesn't leave you feeling like you'll be laying around for the next 2 days. Their Greek Salad is amazing as well. Ingredients are always fresh, service great and food warm and tasty. What more could one want in a quick meal?

Love it. I always get the Greek Chicken Pita, and usually with feta cheese. Sometimes we get a side of olives too. My hubby usually ends up with the gyros. I tried the fallafel once and wasn't a big fan (too dry), but I think that's just me. Anyway, we ate there last week and the pitas were a little stale. I think it's because it's summer and the volume is down. It's a popular lunch place for UA folks. Anyway, yum. MM

Good quality food but the atmosphere is terrible if you're seeking a quiet place. Not much of a selection for vegetarians, but the falafel gyros was tasty. I prefer Petra Cafe but Petra is open only for lunch, so Kosmos is pretty much it for Greek food at other hours. And why is Kosmos closed on Sundays, like so many other locally owned restaurants in this town?

Always delicious and very fresh! Excellent gyros. I highly recommend Kosmos. If there's a long line to order, wait patiently. It will be well worth your time.

Kosmos is wonderful! I just found out about this place within the last few months and I have probably eaten there eight times. I recommend the Chicken Gyros with feta added. The spicy feta dip with pita bread is also very good.

I felt Kosmos was good. I'm biased as it's difficult to find decent gyros in Austin, Tx. The quality of the meat, feta and spices were all welcomed at lunch time. The fries were tasty, soft on the inside and salted well, the pita while plain was soft warm and fresh. The tzatziki was tart tangy thick and easily spreadable. My meal was large enough that I had to get a to go box. I ordered dolmades in addition and I enjoyed the fact that they were small and easily 2 bite size pieces with some lettuce underneath. I'd eat here again for sure.

I like it. It's good, fresh. They could earn more stars with a little more effort. Building seems like your sitting in an old Wendy's or something, and nothing "special" or "extra/unique" to set them apart. It's good.

I usually get the gyro plate with rice. I have also had the gyro sandwich. I typically get a half Greek salad and some of those dolmades with both. The food has been consistent and excellent. Service is friendly and quick. This team is solid and scoring goals. Keep it up Kos mos.

Still the best Greek food in Fayetteville, but it does seem as if they've been too busy to hold the line on the quality they had on Dickson St. Also the best fries in Fayetteville. The souvlaki and the pita sandwiches plus salads have been a staple in our family for years, but last week I had a salad & the onions were old tasting. Like McDonald's old tasting. Seriously upset my stomach. Too bad, really loved this place.

I went with the Chicken Souvlake plate and a side of red pepper hummus. The portions were huge and the load of pita to dip! Unfortunately, the meal itself was kind of bland. The chicken the was a bit dry and I wasn't too impressed with the hummus either.
(3)Kenneth L.
Restaurant quality food at fast food prices. The dolmades were perfect with just the right amount of garlic and olive oil. The chicken pita was flavorful and moist with a terrific tzatziki sauce. The pitas are delicious along with the spicy feta dip, and the deserts are limited but excellent; the sopa pitas are finger licking good and the baklava was ever bit as good as i expected from a Greek restaurant. The gyro was the real thing if just a tad salty but still a good dish. Overall I was impressed with the place and I plan on being a regular.

I think I had some lamb in my salt but I'm not sure. Both my orders were prepared incorrectly and the fries were cold. I may return at some point and try again since there are some good reviews but I was disappointed. The person up front was incompetent and was unable to describe the menu or maybe we just had some miscommunication when I asked about other types of Greek food I tried while traveling.

Awesome!! And you can get Gyros by the pound!
(5)Taylor W.
Decent but not my favorite. Seemed like it was quite a bit better when it first opened and even better before the jump. Maybe it's just the new location though and the fast-food-like atmosphere. Currently enjoying Tangiers for my gyro cravings. It's 1 minute North on College with a better atmosphere, food, and great staff.
(3)Chris S.
Great food. Friendly and helpful staff. Expensive.
(4)Cheyenne B.
Wonderful food, friendly service, great prices! You cannot go wrong eating here. I LOVE the kosmos gyros, and the gyros salad! The Greek iced coffee is phenomenal! Seriously worth trying if you haven't! Guaranteed to be a new favorite for you!
(5)Harold Bishop W.
Not my first time here. I dig it. The staff is pretty chill and the boss man's hair is perfect! I'm not being sarcastic.
(4)Maitreyee R.
This place is just okay! I did not try the gyros but i did try two of their other popular items- the greek chicken pita and the chicken slouvaki and both were really not greek and hence not that great! Only plus is the placed looked clean & staff was really nice. I forgot my phone on the table and the girl brought it to me right away :)
(3)Donna M.
If I could give less than one star I would. We couldn't even finish the meal. We gave up and threw it away and went to a different restaurant. We will never go back! What a waste of money. I'm sure the Donner party ate better.
(1)Tori K.
Huge portions, delicious flavor and decent price for how much you get. We ordered the gyros salad and a gyro combo with fries, both impressive. We will be back.
(5)Maria A.
They have really yummy gyros. The fries are well seasoned. The red pepper hummus is amazing but I wish they gave more pita with it. Overall a good Greek restaurant for a good price in NWA.
(4)Duncan H.
Their food is authentic and tasty. I've had the pleasure of dining in Greece and Kosmos is right on par. Both the lamb and chicken gyros are great. The chicken with rice is a good dish and their tzaziki is fantastic.
(4)Nic R.
The food is okay, nothing special. I found it ridiculous that there is a $2 up charge to substitute hummus instead of taziki. Service was fast & friendly and overall, the restaurant was very clean.
(3)Bill B.
Food is fresh! Best gyros in Town. You can't beat the taste! Go here!! People atmosphere is also Great!!
