Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. I'm very sad that I will never go back to one of my all time favorite burger joints in town. I love the food, drinks, servers, and overall atmosphere of this place. Over the last 20 years at the Dickson location I've seen concerts there, played poker there, had parties there, drank there, and drank too much there. The problem is in a shady pricing policy. I met my wife and 11 year old daughter at Grubs Uptown after work. As many people know, they strongly advertise that kids always eat free. So, my daughter had a burger with cheese from the "free" kids meal. Here's the breakdown on my bill: Burger and fries -- free Cheese -- $1.00 (I'm ok with that) One leaf of lettuce -- .25 One slice of tomato -- .25 Three pickle chips -- .25 Small side of thousand island dressing for fries -- .50 Kids size 10 oz drink -- 2.29 Grand total for a "free" kids meal? $4.54 Now, let me clarify something. I am totally fine with paying five dollars for a good kids meal. I'm not ok with a shady backhanded pricing structure that sticks parents with a five dollar kids meal that should be free. Just be honest. If you cannot afford to cover a free kids meal, than charge for it. I'd easily pay $3.99 for the meal and $.99 for the tiny drink. Farwell giant plate of cheesy bacon fries. I will miss you.

The burger was ok, but the milkshake and fries were delicious. I like Steak and Shake's shakes but the burger here is a bit better with really good milkshakes.

This is a cool sports bar with a nice interior with a lot of cool memorabilia. A lot of large tv's with plenty of space to view. The price was reasonable and the food was good along with the service.

I originally ate at the location in downtown Fayetteville, so I sort of knew what I was expecting when I ate at the Grub's Uptown location; however, this location has a bit of a different atmosphere. First off, both Grub's have the true "Bar & Grille" look to them, having a full bar on one side of the restaurant, and several televisions all around the store for those big game days. However, the Grub's Uptown location has more of a restaurant feel to it than the feel of a bar. Now, for the good stuff: the food. Grub's Uptown has what I like to call "bar food", which consists of mainly burgers and fries, with some sub sandwiches and appetizers that you would find as sort of a "standard" when it comes to restaurants that have the "Bar & Grille" name attached to them, with a few exceptions (like a pasta dish.) However, there is something about Grub's Uptown that makes it stand out from the crowd: the unique menu for burgers. When I looked at the menu, I immediately saw a burger on the menu that immediately caught my eye for being quite unique: the Taco Burger. I mean, makes some sense: it has shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese on it, giving it the feel of a taco ... but that's not what caught my eye. The taco burger is cooked in a way unlike any other burger on their menu ... a way that I would have never thought of doing myself: the taco burger is cooked with taco seasoning actually mixed into the ground beef before cooking the burger! The seasonings make the burger taste all the better. I'm not trying to sell anyone on this burger, but seriously, it was unlike any burger I have ever had before. If you go there for anything, if you are in a burger mood, seriously, give it a try. Okay, now for the reason for the 4 stars that I gave it ... Given that it is still has a bit of the bar feel, expect it to get sort of loud in Grub's Uptown on game days. The bar area is not made separate from the restaurant area, which would have been a good way to keep the noise level down for the patrons that want to go in to Grub's Uptown just to get a bite to eat. However, the bar area not too much a bar that it's something to be avoided by people who basically never walk into a bar for any reason whatsoever; the entire restaurant is not a bar area. So, in other words, for the family people, you should be able to take children with you without having to worry about too many disturbances. So, definitely give this Grub's location a try, especially if you are curious about that curiosity of a uniquely-crafted burger.

My husband ordered "Mucho Macho Nachos". I remembered from eating them in the past at the downtown restaurant and it was a big plate full of chips, cheese sauce, etc. His order came out with 10 (ten) tortilla chips covered with a little cheese sauce, lettuce and what looked like bacon bits. (He had added beef.) This cost $10.99. He tasted one and it was not good. He sent it back and got a fajita wrap that was edible. I had a quesadilla which was good for the most part. One bite tasted like the chicken was a little freezer bitten. The service was good and the server was friendly. Sweet iced tea was good. Won't return to this restaurant. I had to rate it at one star. I didn't want to give it any stars.

Husband and I decided to come here for lunch. The hostess was not so friendly. As we got seated to our table, she noticed the table top was dirty and had us standing until she got a towel and wiped it down. We had to ask for napkins and table setting. Ordered a beer and it came after sitting for 15 minutes. Ordered our meal and it arrived 45 minutes later. We noticed that ALL the waitresses are so young, and so I base the service we had at that. Unexperienced. We asked our waitress why the long wait, she said she was waiting on my burger. Husband ordered a French Dip, he didn't like the fact that it was so dry. The burger has been sitting under the heat lamp, because the lettuce and tomato was so limp I asked for new veggie condiments. All in all, it was like a "wet blanket" over a great morning. Never recommend it nor going back.

This was our first time there. The food was good service good. Parking no so good. It's a bit loud and not the most friendly place when you walk in or leave. (No hellos or goodby) it's a college bar with good food.

Grubs is great. We eat here quite a bit. Best burgers around. Good, all-around family place. Watch the fries though. The cooks sure like to overcook them a lot.

Pros: Great juicy burger, they focus on making the meat delicious. Fries are crispy. Great frie seasoning. Beer and drink selection. Great student coupons. Good service. Fun atmosphere. Cons: On occasion I've gotten bad fries.

Love Grubs and can't wait till they open their latest location in Rogers in the Pinnacle area. Had the pizza dip which is always yummy-how can you go wrong with a cream cheese base? Add pizza sauce, peppers, onions, pepperoni and cheese and give me fritos to scoop it up? Sounds familiar? Thats right-Gusano's has it too because its the same owner of both establishments. Large selection of drafts. I was not too excited about my turkey melt hoagie, it was average. I do enjoy the fries with their signature dipping sauce which appears to be mayo based with who knows what to give it some zing. My only real complaint is the paper lined "plates". Why can't we just use a real plate? I hate when the paper gets soggy and tears, exposing the tray below-how clean are those? Gives me the eebie jeebies. I hope they sanitize them. But watching my husband eat his frito pie...I think he may have eaten half the paper as well. The place was busy, lots of tv's.

This place is great!!! Why anyone would ever go back to Taco Bell after eating here is beyond imagination. This is real food, and it's delicious! I especially like their fresh salsa bar.

Disappointed everything we go here. Burgers are below sub-par. One time they even managed to over-cook chicken fingers...(how do you burn chicken fingers?!?) best thing there are the bacon cheese fries, but after 3 disappointing visits, we won't be back.

Some of my favorite burgers in NWA. Less of a college bar type of atmosphere in this location than the other location off of Dickson Street. Good place to go and watch a game. Not as good of a beer selection as you'd hope for, but the food makes up for it.
