Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Best salsa in town and wonderful, authentic ceviche. Great food, generous portions, and reasonable prices.

This restaurant doesn't look like much on the outside, but the food is very good. We stopped by for lunch on our way to Bentonville. I had the Spinach Enchilada with green sauce and the chicken tortilla soup. The green sauce was sooooo good. It went well with the green sauce. The tortilla soup was different than the version that used to with avocado in the soup, but it was good nonetheless. The portions were really big. The prices are really cheap. I was surprise to see a dish for $4.99 which is a rarity nowadays. As we were finishing up our lunch, I noticed a steady stream of the lunch crowd coming to the restaurant. I would sure frequent this place knowing that I can get cheap and tasty lunch here.

I've eaten at this restaurant about 7 times in one year and I've got FOOD POISONING two different times. I wasn't exactly sure the first time but I am very sure this time. I'm still rolling in the bed with stomach pains between visits to the bathroom to be sick. Despite their good service and tasty food, I will never be going back to this place ever again. I regret ever setting foot inside this restaurant.

What it lacks in pizzaz is made up in sliminess, with canned refried beans and nacho cheese. It would help if they discovered garlic or chilis.

Love this place! The people are nice, the food is good, and the prices are very affordable. Love their tamales, fish tacos, and garlic shrimp. My partner is a big fan of their burritos, carne asada, and shimp tortilla soup. Ask for their special green salsa to spice things up a bit. Food is never too greasy or over-cheesed. I would give them five stars but their chips and salsa are underwhelming and their iced tea isn't the best. Otherwise, this is the perfect regular Mexican spot. I eat here at least once a week.

Have had breakfast here twice and the chiliquelles were wonderful... hubby always has something with chorizo and he loves it... the salsa is absolutelly fresh.... if you want a quick Mexican breakfast, this is the place to go.... give it a try.... you won't be sorry.

This is a good Mexican restaurant. The food is not the greatest but overall, good and cheap. I wish they would keep their restroom, the menus, and the tables a little more clean.

It's your run of the mill Mexican place. Service isn't great, and food is only a small step above Taco Bell quality wise. There are better places, even at the relatively low price point (it's usually low no matter where you go). I wouldn't say avoid it of your hungry and driving by...but it's not worth a trip either.

This is the best Mexican food in town, no question. La Huerta is terrible. Acambaro was great but the immigration raid seems to have made it turn for the worse. I have never had anything I didn't like here. The chips are the perfect thickness, the sauce the perfect spice, the service perfect, the margaritas flavorful and cheap ($1.99!). My favorite is the machaca plate or burrito but like I say, all has been good so far. The family relocated from the SoCal area and is really friendly and seems to want to be as involved in the community as much as possible. Give them a try.

good food, in a family-run restaurant. I'm a vegetarian, and I like their spinach tamales and enchiladas. The mild salsa is uninspired but the hot stuff is quite tasty! The home-style atmosphere and friendly people make me want to come back, and their prices are quite reasonable.

I was not thrilled with this place. The salsa was a bit on the bland side (but I much prefer Tex-mex heat) and the guacamole tasted like it came from a jar. I did however really enjoy my seasoned chicken breasts on the Chicken Asada plate I ordered.

I like Mexican food and this place fits the bill.

Their burritos are huge, hot sauce is pretty good, service is friendly, and cost is low. It's not my favorite Mexican food restaurant, but I go there periodically. Seems clean, and there is usually seating available with no wait time.

I have eaten here three times now, and not one disappointment (well the margarita was not very good, but I am very picky about my margaritas). The food is fresh and the portions excellent. I have had the enchilada plate, which was good. My favorite so far is the Carne Asada tacos - tender steak, fresh pico, cheese and the tortillas are perfect, crispy and soft at the same time.

I catch lunch here quite often. The menu is pretty typical of most the little Mexican restaurants in this area. Food is fresh and good. Chips and salsa are excellent. Quick and cheap for lunch. They also serve breakfast 7 days a week. They have the typical American breakfast stuff and they also have a pretty good batch of Mexican inspired breakfast dishes. Good Stuff.

The food here is great and the service is crazy fast. It's an ideal lunch and a good dinner. The huevos rancheros are what I get most of the time. Friends and family say the fish dishes are good to. The folks who own the place are among the friendliest I've ever known. After eating there for years I go there to check up on them as much as eat their food. This place is also fantastic for vegetarians.
