Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

i don't know if I'd call it "Mexican" but i definitely know I'd call it DELICIOUS. If you're looking for some seriously amazing Tex-Mex fare with friendly service, bottomless chips & salsa, and totally reasonable prices, look no further. The Fayettechilladas are sublime - sautéed veggies smothered with a light cheese sauce, served with seasoned rice & fresh cucumber salad is my JAM. Go here and order that. Don't be put off by the outer appearance of this joint - it's what's inside that counts.

Watch out your bank statement if you had lunch or dinner there. I found out they charged me twice for the lunch I had there. I called and they won't refund. I was able to get my bank take care of it in the end. But don't trust them with your credit card.

One of my favorite places to eat in Fayetteville! My favorite item on the menu is the chicken chimichangas, and the lime margaritas are cheap. Love to go and sit on the patio at night!

That was the worse restaurant expercience i think i have ever had!!! This restaurant had great reviews but it was anythung but great. Our waitress was horrible. She worked at another place somewhere else and didnt know the menu or the people. She was very ill spoken and very dingy... she didnt understand what we were ordering.. we ordered 2 beers on tap and they brought us chips and salsa.. we had an hour lunch and spent 45 mins of it waiting for food we never got. No other drinks no more chips and salsa... NOTHING!!! So in order to get food before we had to return to class we walked out. They never even looked up.. never noticed we left. Later when we passed by the place again our glasses and chip mess was still sitting there. Its a horrible place. Dont waste your time or your money there!! I ONLY GIVE IT 1 STAR BECAUSE I HAVE TO BUT IT IS REALLY A NO STAR RESTAURANT!!!!!

I was surprised by the variety on the vegetarian menu. My fay-chiladas were very tasty and unique. The cucumber salad was too heavy on the onion for me, but I thought it had a good flavor aside from that. My partner had the fish tacos and they were also really good. Plenty of fresh, high quality food. The table salsa is one of the best I've had here in Fayetteville. The service was a little off, just because it took awhile to get refills and what-not, but everyone was friendly. And the lights were turned a little high, but otherwise the space is comfortable and cute. I don't mind the ordering system (you place your order before you sit down and they bring it out with your beverages and complimentary chips and salsa). I had my receipt emailed to me -- love that.

Great new place in Fayetteville. Staff is very friendly and provides great service. Food is better than Viejo/La Huerta and also more affordable. They also did a great job of remodeling the inside of the building. Go check this place out.

This was not the worst food I have ever had. Truly, it was decent. My low review comes from the experience as a whole. When you walk in you are greeted by a large menu board and a person waiting to take your order. It is like walking into a taco bell. We told the girl that we had never eaten there so she gave us a few paper menus and said that she would let us sit and decide rather than ordering right then and there. That was nice, though, I think they might want to consider letting everyone do this, as the hallway from the door to giant menu board is very short and having a lot of people would cause a huge congestion. We decided what we wanted and proceeded back to the counter to order. I got the Burrito gigante and a cheese enchilada, my husband got the Fajita nachos. We were there with a larger group and my sisters husband had gotten a sweet tea, and it had gone rancid. We had to let the girl who brought the chips and salsa over know that it had gone bad. There was a girl about 9 or 10 there serving salsa and chips as well. That was a little strange. But I am assuming it was family owned, so that's ok, I guess. Anyway, we finally get the food and the cheese enchilada was covered, swimming in a dark red sauce. The sauce was good, but also, I could go across the street to harps and buy it in a can. It was La Victoria red enchilada sauce. I would bet money on that, there was no way that this was homemade sauce. The cheese inside was good though, it was gooey and stringy, almost like mozzarella cheese, which is super good, just not traditional Mexican cheese. My burrito was huge, but it came on the plate alone. No rice, beans, no sour cream or pico on the side, just a huge burrito in the middle of a plate. Not very appealing to the eye. My first bite was all rice and tortilla, there was a lot of rice. A LOT. When you finally got to the "meat" of the burrito it was very good. The chicken was grilled really well, the guacamole was very good, but there was so much rice, it was kind of disappointing. I had to cover mine in salsa because it was kind of naked and I just didn't like that. The chips and salsa were really good, not the best I have ever had, but very good. For better salsa, I would say go to El Camino Real on college just off 6th street. My husbands nachos were alright. The steak was a little chewy, and there were a lot of beans, the people here love to use fillers like rice, and beans. I know that it cuts back on using the expensive stuff like meat, but it seems that if you use so much of that stuff, you disappoint people who are paying almost $10.00 for steak on their nachos. The center of his plate was oddly spicier than the rest of the dish, it was really strange. There was a lot of food on the plate, but it wasn't outstanding. My mother ordered the same thing, but with chicken, and she couldn't eat hers at all, it was just not very good. My sisters husband got an enchilada plate and he didn't eat it, said it wasn't good. My sister got a cheese enchilada like I did, didn't like it. My brother got the same burrito that I got but with steak, he liked it, but said that he has had better. Overall, I wouldn't go back. It cost more than it should have, the food was good but not great, it just was kind of a let down.

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Fayetteville!! The staff and service is great and the food is so good! The atmosphere is fun and the design is clean and simple. This is a great place and everyone should eat here!
