Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Really excellent food! Super fresh, house made marinara and delicious calzones loaded with any fillings you want. The atmosphere is casual and the prices are very reasonable. Skip Pasta Jack's and their ketchup-from-a-can tomato sauce and go here instead.

Placed a take out order for a "design it yourself" pizza at 5:26 PM today via phone. The background noise from others near her location was so LOUD, I was afraid the order would be misinterpreted, so, I asked the young lady taking the order to repeat the details of my order back to me to ensure she had it correct. When I arrived to pick up the pizza at or a few minutes later (approx 6:05 - 6:10) than she said it would be ready. The young lady (blonde about 19-23) at the reception area (same one ... who knows?) could not locate ANY order for my name... OR... even a pizza by that description being placed in the last 25 minutes. She asked two other employees if they had received an order from me or of my description in the previous 20-30 minutes. Both did not recall any such. The young lady said she was sorry and that she would need to put in the order AGAIN.. and I would OBVIOUSLY have to wait for it. I said I could not wait and that I would need a coupon for another pizza "on the house" from them. All she said was I'm sorry. I responded that they had just LOST A CUSTOMER. I KNOW ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY that it was Luigi's that I called because: #1 I have placed a similar take out order before and I KNOW the same lady (name?) took the order both times... because this lady would say "yes sir" after every pizza ingredient I added to my order. The same was done on this order. Courteous, but a but atypical. #2 I double checked my phone call log when I got back home to make DEAD SURE, the number I called (501-847-1110). It WAS. We ALL are human and we ALL make mistakes, including ME! Saying I'm sorry is what I do and what she did. BUT when I said I couldn't' wait for the re-placement order and asked for a coupon for a free pizza for the future, she should have asked for her manager, she did not.. all she said was I'm sorry again. This was and is not acceptable. You don't treat and keep customers this way. My time and gas are valuable as are yours, the reader of this. Never have I been to a business where they SCREWED UP, that they did not offer something in addition to an "I'm sorry" to compensate me for my inconvenience.

I have eaten at Luigi's for 18 years (old and new locations). The food is excellent. If there is an issue with food or service, Hamid, the owner, will take care of quickly. He loves his customers and wants them all satisfied. I have so many good memories over the years...especially the 'real' pizza and the awesome ranch dressing. Try the Rock City pizza with jalapenos and extra cheese on top...good!!!

First time eating here and not impressed with anything offered. No jokes here but the bread offered at dinner was half toasted hot dog buns. The meatball sub was a hot dog bun with ground beef, cheese, and red sauce. The meatball sub had nothing resembling a meatball at all, and the spice was way off. Sub-ways sub is twice as good. I think they are trying to do a mexican-Italian thing that is not working at all. My wife had the chicken parmesan and the breading was not seasoned at all and tasted like a frozen chicken fried chicken. Cheese was cold and sauce was overpowering tomato paste taste. Noodles were a cross between angel hair and spaghetti, and was not al dente. Service was great and food was fast food fast. Also, we had jalapeno poppers for appetizers and they tasted great. We ordered these as a half joke, because we were at an Italian restaurant, however they are the highlight. Maybe come here to drink, but do not come here if you are hungry at all. Huge disappointment, with great service.

Went for the first time an boy I was upset. I grew up in the north-east (jersey/New York) area an have longed for a good pie since moving away. It looked great smelled great but the crust had no taste. Husband an I said we'd try again since we have a rule to try everything twice incase they messed up the first time. Hoping for a better second visit.

I've enjoyed this place three times in the past six months or so and every time it's the same. Fast friendly service, wonderful food, and a relaxed environment with little to no wait. For a local joint, what more could you ask for. I recommend it to anyone in the Benton/ Bryant area.

Went with the spaghetti and meatballs - how bad could it be? Well, it was worse than I could imagine. Soggy, overcooked pasta, dog food meatballs, some kind of ground meat sauce with no flavor - awful. The salad was great, though... and the Ranch dressing was very tasty. The upset stomach that arrived later in the evening was complimentary.

Their "Rock City" pizza is AMAZING. Pasta dishes are very good too. The staff are friendly. On Friday nights, they have live music in the bar area. We are definitely a fan. The Ravioli bites are OK but I think they come from a frozen bag and then are heated up (as opposed to made on-site). It's nice to have a little spot like that so close to our house. The owner's real name is not Luigi - although he is a great guy! :-)

Great service, really nice staff. Restaurant is very clean. Not much atmosphere. The food was not really my thing. Lots of pasty sauce. The seasoning was good. I had the lasagna and a side salad. The salad tasted fresh and the dressing tasted homeade. Not anything to write home about, but not bad. The prices are really reasonable.

I happen to catch this neat little Italian joint on trivia night. Had a great time playing with a group of friends. We just missed the top 3 by one point. The drinks were nicely done and the service was first class. I never had to wait for the next drink. Great atmosphere in the bar and the food was above par. I had a meatball sandwich the was spot on. All members of the party were more than satisfied with their entree. The only drawback was the bar crowd dispersed quickly after the trivia ended and left us mostly all alone in the bar. I could have stayed much longer. All in all, i would recommend any out of towner give this little establishment a try. You won't be disappointed.

After visiting Luigi's for a 3rd time, I realized I needed to update my review. Everytime I have been here, the service is great, restaurant is clean, and the food is excellent! I tend to forget about this restaurant due to the fact that I don't live close to Bryant, but always enjoy Luigi's when I come! I tried the pepperoni calzone, which was a large serving, baked fresh and served with tasty marinara sauce. I appreciated that they didn't add so much pepperoni that the calzone was soaked with grease - really not greasy at all! My husband had the chicken parmesan, which was extremely tender and seasoned to perfection. His pasta was served with garlic toast. All soooo good! Makes me hungry thinking about it.

I have been driving by this restaurant for three years and i have always noticed that it was always busy during lunch. so we decided to try it It was around three in the afternoon and only seemed to be two people working there we finally got seated and ordered a Pizza, their Specialty 10" was big enough for the two of us and two iced teas . They have a-great Menu and the Pizza is wonderful they specialize in thin crust and fresh ingredients backed on hot bricks ..tasted very fresh love the sauce. I was looking around to see what everyone else was eating ; pasta looked good, The atmosphere is better than it look s from outside and very clean and the service is good and prices are reasonable. I live outside Hot Springs so This will be a great place when I travel to and from Little Rock.

Luigi's is a gift from Heaven for those of us that live far away from Little Rock's Damgoode Pies and the like. It's definitely the best pizza in the suburbs and a strong contender for one of the best pizza joints in the whole state. My family have been patrons of Luigi's since its early days on Chicot Road. The owner, who does indeed bear a resemblance to Luigi from the Super Mario video games, takes a very active role in the business. It's difficult to go through a meal without him stopping by your table to inquire about the meal and the "goings on" in your life and around the city. Visit frequently enough and you'll become one of the regulars that he always shouts a "hey" to. We enjoy the meaty "Rock City" pizza the best, and the garlic cheese bread is a nice appetizer. We can't say much for their other items since we always go for a pizza (we're never disappointed with it). And despite what a previous reviewer noted there's absolutely no way the tomato sauce comes out of a can!

The service at this restaurant was good. We tried a couple of pasta dishes. The food tastes fresh, and the red sauce was zesty. Next time I'll try the pizza. It looked wonderful!

The service was nice, but its like a moc Olive Garden. the service was good. I had a pizza and expected more sorry to say, it was as if they mixed some flour and water and the sauce was tomato past from the can and they slapped it on the crust.. was really not to impressed . i would drive by and see many cars there and expected more .. Its an okay place i guess i would have to try something different if i were to go back there..
