The colorful and southern aesthetics are overshadowed by too much styrofoam and plastic. I wish they more fully embraced the charm of the town, but the restaurant doesn't seem to know whether it's a cafe, southern diner, or bakery. I had the chicken breast with pasta salad and pita. The amateurish presentation was endearing but I'll ultimately unflattering. The silverware was laid directly on the food, so I had to clean the handles before eating. Flavor was simple but good. Thankfully the pasta was not overcooked nor overdressed. The banana pudding was superb and nicely spiced. Desserts are likely the best thing here. Service was prompt and friendly.
