Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

SO YUMMY. did not expect this at all...pulled into the parking lot and saw a drive thru section, thought twice about going in but did not regret it!! the boyfriend ate all my shrimp because it was so good. but everything was delicious! and the hot sauce we asked for on the side was excellent and also SO SPICY. 10/10 would come again.

We found this restaurant while we were in town for one night on our drive home from New Orleans. The car said it was 107 degrees outside. Whew! None of the restaurants in town had a lot of reviews, but this one had the most (only 11 at the time) with 4.5 stars. It is very colorful and bright inside. The decor actually makes you feel happy. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They brought out fresh tortilla chips and salsa. The drinks were in very large cups. I ordered a sample appetizer plate with nachos supreme, a taquito, and a cheese quesadilla. My husband ordered an enchilada plate. The food was good, but....I had to send my plate back because there was no meat on my nachos and no cheese. My husband said he asked for beef, but got chicken. When he got his plate back, there was a puddle on the bottom. We are still not sure exactly what that was from. Perhaps their sauce was very thin. I got my nachos back and still didn't see any cheese. When I was mixing up the toppings of the nachos, I noticed a white puddle underneath them. I think it was the cheese. It was so thin I never did figure it out, plus there wasn't any on top of the nachos. If it wasn't for the free chips and salsa they give you when you first come in, i wouldn't have had any chips to use with my meal. The white puddle made my chips completely mushy. The flavors were good, but we won't be back.

Stopped in on the drive to Texas and was amazed by the quality of the service and the food!!! Free chips and salsa of course and stellar Chimichanga, will definitely be back

Tons of food for not a ton of money. Everything was excellent. The tacos al carbon were loaded with meat. The build your own combo was more food than I could eat in one sitting.

Just passing through while on a road trip. The menu is very similar to a couple of restraints here in Memphis. The service was fast the food was great and the place was clean. My only complaint is they didn't serve beer, which was disappointing.

Friendly, prompt service, good local-chain restaurant Mexican food. Good vegetarian selections and they let me customize the fajita quesadillas to be vegetarian. We left stuffed on a $17 check. Great pit stop!

Easily the best Mexican food in town. Large portions and friendly staff is why I keep coming back for more. Location is great to go shopping after you eat.

What a treat! We came to town and just happened upon this place. It was EXCELLENT! Everything from the cheese-stuffed rellenos to the Burrito Las Brisas was full of flavor. We will be looking for excuses to come back to Blytheville

Best American-Mexican food I have ever had west of the Mississippi. We were passing through and stopped in Blytheville to spend the night - first time in Arkansas. I was with my dad and two part-time residents of Guadalajara. We were all blown away with the superior taste of the food. The menu is standard, but the flavors aren't. They're excellent. We had a very pleasant waiter. It's been a few years so I don't remember what I ate, but I would gladly go out of my way a few hours to eat there again!

Stopped in after reading Yelp reviews and was pleasantly surprised. I had beef fajitas for one and they were fantastic and a huge portion. My wife had a #12, which was a tostada and chili replenish combination plate. She doesn't recommend it. The tostada was soggy. But the beef fajitas made up for it.

Traveling through and we happened upon Las Brias. Was a good choice! Friendly service, clean establishment and good food. We had a dish w chicken breast, green peppers, onions and mushrooms with cheese on top. Delicious flavors. Came w rice, beans and a salad. Kids got chicken quesadillas and steak quesadillas. They asked for them to be covered in queso which they did readily. We also had a huge bowl of queso and chips were hot and crunchy. We really didn't encounter anything too spicy so if you are going for heat you may need to order something else but us Missouri folks were very happy:)

I heard Blytheville had some great BBQ and made a trip for that purpose--too bad it's a Sunday and local folk don't believe in eating on the Sabbath. Smoke you Dixie Pig, and I don't mean in a tasty, delicious way! Same for Yank's and Penn's. Ridiculous south. After escaping the husk of a downtown I stumbled upon a shopping mall near I-55. Questions such as "What is a Zaxby's?" and "why is there almost no one in its parking lot?" led me to the adjacent Las Brisas "Authentic Mexican Food" Restaurant. Everything about the place was either bland or unoriginal...ersatz Mexican food and decor everywhere you look. I had a vegetarian platter (quesadilla, chalupa, beans) along with a side guacamole sad and it was edible. The salsa was sad and the chips hardly good. The guacamole and lettuce were slightly worse but I was hungry and so I fed my pie hole accordingly. You know, I still would've given it 3 stars ("maybe it's just Blytheville!" I would've rationalized) but for the water--a shame it had a chemical aftertaste. One sip and done. I got something to drink at Zaxby's. Go there instead. And for the historical record, "hey, ma! I was in Arkansas!"
