If you are someone who cannot resist tasty food, then at Zaxby's you can always try the Zalads. The best part about these salads is that you can customize it as per your needs. Make it grilled, fried or just go for the garden which can make your salad healthy and low on calories.
Foods to Avoid at Zaxby's for Diabetics
If you are diabetic, you must skip all the Drinks served at Zaxby's. There are only a couple of no sugar drinks, but they are merely empty calories and don't contain any nutritional value. You must also avoid food items on the Popular menu at Zaxby's such as Buffalo Chicken Finger plate and Chicken Finger Plate. These items are high in sugar and sodium which can be harmful to diabetics. You must also keep the Chicken wings order to a maximum five to control your sugar intake. Avoid BBQ, Teriyaki, and Sweet & Spicy sauces in your Chicken wings order.
Instead of ordering fried chicken wing servings, you can always request for a grilled sandwich with lettuce, onion, and tomatoes to counter high blood pressure. A sandwich calorie count can range between 900 to 1600 calorie which can be reduced by asking for healthier options.
Foods to Avoid at Zaxby's for High Blood Pressure
If you have high blood pressure, then you must avoid Boneless wings and Club Sandwich at Zaxby's. You should also skip Kickin' Chicken Sandwiches as well as Chicken Finger Sandwich to control your blood pressure levels. You must also skip the chicken wings with multiple dressings and sauces at Zaxby's from the popular menu. these food items on Zaxby's menu contain a very high amount of sodium.
You should also skip salted fries at Zaxby's with your wings or sandwich as fries will spike the sodium levels unnecessarily. It is also recommended not to try Zappetizers such as Buffalo Dip and Tater Chips, Tater Chips, and Side of Tater Chips Onion Rings if you wish to limit your sodium intake.
Food suggestions for High Blood Pressure at Zaxby's
If you are supposed to restrict your calorie count, then try any of the zalads and club it up with a sandwich to fill your stomach with delicious food. To curb the cravings for deep fried food, opt for a small portion (5) of boneless wings and chicken fingerz.
Instead of ordering fried chicken wing servings, you can always request for a grilled sandwich with lettuce, onion, and tomatoes to counter high cholesterol. A sandwich calorie count can range between 900 to 1600 calorie which can be reduced by asking for healthier options.
Foods to Avoid at Zaxby's for High Cholesterol
Salads are often great and considered healthy. However, if you have high cholesterol, then you must be careful while ordering salads or shall we say Zalads at Zaxby's. Fried Cobb salad contains high-fat content which can spike your LDL cholesterol levels. Most food items on Zaxby's menu are high in fat content if you increase the quantity. Instead of opting for 10 or 20 chicken wings from the menu, opt for 5 traditional chicken wings to control your cholesterol balance.
I have n o t had the best luck at beunos. The food was over done and did not taste good.

I don't know why I keep going back! I love their salads but the wait is terrible!!! This is the last time for sure!

If you're not hungry when you order, you will be by the time you get your food. And fifty cents for extra ranch dressing after a 24 minute wait to get our food. Won't be returning. And the fried pickles were awful. One star is pretty generous.

Terrible service. Waited 38 minutes and still didn't have my food. When I complained they made it out to be my fault saying that they called my number. Makes sense that I would hear my number and ignore it, not like I was hungry or anything. Manager rude. Never returning

We love Zaxbys chicken and eat at their restaurants when we travel. We eat at this particular Zaxbys every week or two because it's close to where we live. The staff is friendly and the service is quick, but finding a clean table is sometimes a problem and something has changed over the last few months and the chicken has not been hot the last five out of six times. I think we will go eat chicken strips somewhere else.

I prefer Raising Canes back home in AZ, but this place isn't bad. I was skeptical after reading reviews, but I found them a bit off compared to my experience.

Most of Zaxby's is fried chicken but I went with the Cajun Club chicken sandwich, which arrived grilled (not fried) with a small stack of crinkle cut fries. Surprisingly good with lettuce, tomato, two slices of cheese and their "Zax sauce" I understand is a buffalo-ized ranch dressing. The fries were nice and crispy and topped with a sprinkling of a pepper salt. Delish. I managed to eat the entire sandwich but resisted half the fries. Yay, me! My lunch companion had the Zansation Zalad, which looked good with a lot of lettuce and pieces of chopped fried chicken and the Honey Sesame dressing. Drinks are available via a Coke fountain and I drank at least a half gallon of the yummy Minute Maid "lite" lemonade, refilling to go. Lunch for two was $16. If I'm ever in the mood for another chicken sandwich, I might come back to Zaxby's.

Thank goodness for Zaxby's! I can stay on my diet with grilled chicken salads (minus cheese, fried onions and the yummy Texas toast ) great chicken sandwiches, too.

Not a fan. I resort to it sometimes because I want a quick wing or nugget, and don't want to hassle with Wild Wings, and don't want to fight the traffic getting to Chick Fil A. Nothing is terrible on the menu, but nothing is really any good to me. Wings are tiny and overcooked every time I've been there.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to write about Zaxby's. I heard about this place from my coworkers and how they make a pretty good chicken sandwich. I think to myself, great... another chicken sandwich place. Haven't we got enough of those? I've already seen Chick Fil-A in the area. At first glance, the menu looks like it's filled with the usual chicken strips, wings, and sandwiches. But when I finally had my chicken sandwich, it was completely not what I expected. Instead of the boring burger bun, it was 2 pieces of "Texas toast" which has basically bread perfectly grilled with a ton of butter. In between, there were 3 pieces of crispy chicken strips with their "Zax sauce" which tasted like a combination of buffalo and ranch sauce. Yeah, it looked odd at first but once I took my first bite, I destroyed my sandwich and fries in no time. Check out the pictures... my mouth is watering just looking at it!

Similar to Cane's, but with a little more variety. I really like the grilled chicken salad which has lots of fresh, leafy romaine, diced cucumber, and tomatoes and lean, well-seasoned grilled chicken. I much prefer the salad to the similar version at Chick-fil-A. I also like that the salad comes with a side of Texas toast. The fried chicken fingers and fries are very similar to Cane's. This is a good place to stop in for a quick, fresh chicken lunch.

Was coming here wanting to find some bomb wings and that didn't happen at all. But looking at Jessica B's review it sounds like I should head down to Slim's for a wing throw down. The other folks in my group all thought the food was very average too

Not that Zaxby's is terrible but I never eat there. For my chicken wings and fried pickles and the freshest chicken tenders in town, as well as cold beer on tap, we always go to Slim Chickens just a couple miles east in Rogers next to the Rogers Bowling Alley.

Zaxby's is alright. Can find better wings down the street at Slim's, but their salads are pretty good. Over priced for what it is.

I looked at the reviews before coming here and I was hesitant. BUT, I thought it was pretty good. You order at the cashier and then they call your number for you to come get it. The wait for our food wasn't too bad. Customer service was pretty good as well. I liked the inside décor/environment because it was decorated somewhat nice for a fast food restaurant. At least it is different then your typical fast food/casual dining place. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and it was good. My husband ordered the Chicken Finger Sandwich and liked it as well. My daughter had the kids meal and ate it all, so I think she liked it haha. My husband and I split some boneless chicken wings and they were good, I love me some chicken wings haha. Overall, I would go again.
