Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. Get the Steak Burger and fries ~ best in town.

I have now been to the Station Cafe twice and both times have been great. It has an old fashioned theme inside and great burgess. The price for the burger is definitely more than a McDonald's, but worth it.

Gross. Had a kid's meal (with fries and a burger) and the fries just tasted weird. The burger was also nothing special. Any fast food chain would beat this place. Chick-fil-a would definitely be a much better option. WOULD NOT COME BACK!

I had heard good things about this place, so I took my mom there on Wednesday, May 13th at 2pm as part of her Mother's Day gift. We reached the counter and I ordered for my mom a chicken salad sandwich (kind of pricey at $8) and a bottle of water. The girl behind the counter messed around on the computer for a few seconds, and then asked again what I had ordered, so I repeated myself. She joked about having a short-term memory, which would have been funny if my order had been something more than a single sandwich with no sides or modifiers, and a single bottle of water. After she had put that in the system I ordered for myself a turkey guacamole melt. The sign only offered "ala carte", and "2 sides" pricing, so I asked if I could just have one side. The cashier wasn't sure, but finally said that I could get a drink as one of the sides, so I said that that was fine, and that I'd take the potato salad as my side. A few more seconds of her doing something on the computer, and she says, "And you wanted fries with that?" I have no idea where she came up with the idea that I wanted fries, seeing how I hadn't even mentioned the word "fries", nor did I even see them offered on the menu board as a side. I corrected her, and told her again that I wanted potato salad. She then asked what kind of bread I wanted, so I said white, and she of course put in that I wanted wheat. My mom noticed this on the register and told her of her mistake. She printed up the ticket, handed it to the cook and I heard her tell him that she had messed up, and that I wanted white bread instead of the wheat she had written. We go to our table and when the food arrives I get my sandwich with the side of fries I didn't order, so my mom went back to the counter and told the girl of her mistake. She offered no apology for screwing up my order, and instead simply told the cook that she needed potato salad. I then bit into my sandwich and knew that something wasn't right. I look under the bread to see the turkey, the cheese (which wasn't even melted, something that should come standard on a MELT), mushrooms, onions, horseradish, some nasty looking black stuff, and absolutely no guacamole at all. I took the sandwich back to this same girl and told her about her mistake. Again, no apology, no remorse, not a single care given that she was repeatedly and consistently messing up my order, an order that I had tried to keep as simple as possible. She tells the cook through the kitchen window that she had messed up by hitting a button that said "Everything" on the order, and finally, in a clear act of exasperation, he just asked me directly what I wanted to eat. I told him that all I wanted was turkey, cheese, and guacamole. Just like the menu had said. How hard could this possibly be? A worker told me that they would bring my food to the table once it was done, so I went back and sat down. A minute later a girl (A Mexican girl who was bussing tables) brought the sandwich over and flung it on the table without even looking or acknowledging anyone at the table. She didn't say a single word to me, didn't pause to set the food down with any amount of grace, didn't apologize for their repeated mistakes, nothing. Simply threw it on the table and instantly walked away. My mom and girlfriend both instantly made a comment about how rude it was. The sandwich was decent enough, though the cheese still wasn't melted, and they had put so much guacamole on it that it was hard to taste anything else. Simply, the decent food (I didn't try their alleged award-winning burger) is not worth having to put up with such incompetent, uncaring, poor service. I wasn't asking to be catered to or waited on, but being a paying customer ($25 for two people, for two meager lunches) I am expecting to be treated with at least a little bit of respect. At least go next door to the Wal-Mart museum and take lessons from the people who work there. All of them were very friendly to us, making us feel as though they were actually happy to see us in there. Needless to say, The Station Cafe is one place I won't ever be visiting again.

I have had great service every time I have eaten here. Wasn't a huge fan of their Fried Cod sandwich. But I do like their hamburger and fries. Nice little local spot in old town square Bentonville. A little on the pricey side for a Hamburger joint...but the service is excellent. Edit. I think there are 2 entries for this biz on yelp...the other one being under The Station maybe?
(4)Jeffrey M.
We went early and tried their breakfast menu. I had a cheese omelet, toast and coffee. Very good food, nice place to go.
(4)Heidi B.
Pretty bad today. Burger was full of gristle. Lettuce was dirty. Fries were double done AND tasted like they were fried with someones seafood. Oh- and $6+ for a child's burger is ridiculous.
(1)Rick A.
Voted best Burger in Bentonville. Great steak burger! Neat atmsophere with old metal signs on the wall. If you can hit the right day and you see that Ciecil has his lasagne on special, ya gotta try it. Also, his chocolate cake is fantastic. Right on the historic square in Bentonville.
(4)Dave O.
definitely the best burger in town as well as great service
(5)Molly D.
Went here for a standard greasy spoon breakfast, and thats what it was. Not bad, but not spectacular. Huge portions. I would have given it another star, were it not for the fact that the menu proudly includes "freedom fries," "freedom-fried corn on the cob" and "freedom toast." Seriously. In 2010.
(2)Cassie M.
Great breakfast on the historic square and for lunch, they serve a mean steakburger with home cut fries. Positive on the grease but what do you expect from a greasy spoon. They offer much more but I have always limited my ordering to those items. You will always find some Walmartians in there since the 5 & 10 is just a few doors down. I like to enjoy an early lunch or late breakfast on Saturdays and then walk the squares farmers market that is set up by the local farmers and crafters. On a nice day, they have maybe two patio tables on the sidewalk so you can sit and enjoy a nice breeze.
(4)Josie M.
the burgers here are really unique - they are kinda flat and krispy. it's like if wendy's burgers went gourmet. and the onion rings? omg, maybe the best onion rings i've ever had. who knew they were found at the walmart capital? top it all off with a filling creamy shake and you are ready to take a nap.
(5)Mindy M.
We love this place. The kids love it even more. It's like stepping back in time. It's definitely a "greasy spoon" so what's not to love? They have lighter fare too! I've tried the taco salad and the wrap and both are good. But nothing beats the cheeseburger and fries-that's my regular. To be clear, those are Freedom Fries, not French fries. Give it a try-especially on a pleasant nite-eat outside!
(4)Summer C.
I've been here once, so my review might change as I get a chance to visit more. It's a simple diner with a large selection of food. You walk up to the counter and order your food - then they bring it to you. Customer Service: Very friendly :) Time: Did not have to wait in line to order and did not take long for them to bring out our food. We came around 6:30pm on a weekday night for dinner. The line was longer after we had ordered, but for us it was short. Food: I ordered a grilled cheese with onion rings. Nothing special - just normal, but normal was good. I was sad that their shake machine was acting up because I wanted to try one.. oh well - next time!

Our family has been visiting the Station Cafe a few times a year since we moved to NWA in 2004. It's always been a little bit expensive but after this most recent visit i'm afraid they've crossed the line from "a little bit pricy" to "tourist trap highway robbery." Went in tonight and my wife and I both ordered a burger, no fries and a soft drink. Our little boy ordered a chicken strip kids meal. The burgers were about $7.00 each, (my wife ordered a bacon burger, it was $8.75), the soft drinks a whopping $2.50 each!! Our total bill for the meal came to $28.00!! That's $28 for two hamburgers, two soft drinks, and kids meal. That's absurd. For $28 we could have had a pretty good meal at Table Mesa! The food was the same as always. Decent burgers, about what you would expect from Steak and Shake. We didn't get the fries this time so I can't comment about them. I did notice that they still advertise them as "Freedom" fries (and "Freedom" toast was also on the menu) so I would imagine that if you are of French descent you're unwelcome in this establishment. Bottom line, its still a cool place but their prices are, in my opinion, out of line for what you get. Because of their location in the popular downtown square they are able to command those prices but don't drive out of your way in NW Arkansas to try these burgers unless money is no object for your family.
(2)Allan S.
Voted best burger in NW Arkansas? Really, who voted? The menu is huge, less is better in my opinion. For a family of three we spent 26.00 on two cheese burgers, one order of fries, two sodas and a kids burger meal. This wouldn't be so bad if they were the best burgers........ No, they smash the patty flat on the grill which leaves the burger dry and really without flavor. Bun was nothing special, standard slice of pickle, onion, lettuce and tomato accompanied this. The fries were 2.65 most would think possibly a basket of fries at that price. Nope. They were less than a handful of frozen French fries. Better places to get a burger in NW Arkansas. Feltner Bros., Hugo's, Sparky's, Grub's, Ron's........ For those who voted, get out and explore and I guarantee a better burger can be found.
(1)Stephen H.
Nice place. Had the grilled cheese burger (large burger with two grilled cheese sanwiches as the buns). Had to split the food with someone else it was so much. Look forward to coming again and trying something new.
(5)Chadwick T.
Great burgers. The dead flies all over a shelf inside was not to cool. But then again the flies were everywhere surprised they didn't have the bag of water and penny trick to get rid of them...
(3)Linda L.
They say the noise level is "average," but they neglect to mention that diners are harangued by Fox News political commentary through their entire meal. I liked the burgers but have stopped going there because I do not want to hear news and such when I go out to eat at a restaurant. If I wanted that, I could stay home and eat!
(1)Ashley A.
I have never had a bad experience at the Station Cafe. In fact, I brought my grandmother here last week while she was visiting and she loved it. She said her burger was the best she'd had in awhile. Yes, it is a tad pricey for a burger. But not any more so than Five Guys. The burgers are huge and you get a lot for your money. The ambience is nostalgic, and it's fun to people watch at lunch time. I like supporting local restaurants and would rather eat here than a fast food joint. The quiche and salads are great as well.
(5)Jason H.
This place is slipping! Used to be the best burger place hands down. Now, it's great some days and not so on other days. Burgers are cold some days, glorious the next. I believe the kitchen is killing this old stand by. You can hear them brag about how fast the order is coming out. The truth is, if I wanted a fast burger, I would go to Wendy's! The FRENCH fries are nothing special, and like the burgers, it depends on the kitchen roulette if you will get hot fresh French fries with your meal. They will stack the plastic trays on top others. How gross are those trays on the bottom that they are stacking up? This place still has a chance! Please save it before it goes so far south that no one eats there anymore!
(3)Alice S.
We used to eat here, but the prices are too high for the quality. The fries are the cheap, frozen ones. Very disappointing because we love the location and the wait staff folks are nice.
(1)Sandi L.
I had breakfast here. Typical diner fare. The scrambled eggs were cooked flat on a grill. So so. I ordered crispy bacon and it was perfect, also the gravy was great although the biscuits were ordinary. The manager stopped by my table and noticed I wasn't eating the cheesy potatoes and immediately offered to cook me something else. It's real food. Not fancy but good. The prices are appropriate. I'll be going back again.
(3)Charles G.
I don't know how to rate this place but I'll try: #1 Ordering, I'll give that a two because you place the order at the counter then take a number and find a table on your own. #2 Order taker: I'll give her a one for being curt and unfriendly and closing our order before we could ever order a beverage. #3 We both had burgers and they were large and pretty good. They get a four. #4 A one for the fries because they are run of the mill frozen fries available at most bottom of the barrel restaurants. #5 Store bought potato salad in a portion too small to see is good enough to rate a two. #6 Table service. Drop it and run server never to be seen again gets a two. #7 New menu board with a huge selection that is too long to read standing at register and print to small to read for a lot of us. A one. # 8 Prices. Two because most prices are way too high for what you receive. So I guess my overall rating is 1.875. I'll be generous and give them a two. Darn shame because a few small adjustments could kick them up to a five.
(2)Christopher T.
I dont want to rate this place poorly because service is great/friendly but the food is subpar I regret to say. In the right context, you eat here because it's right on the town square. It's quick and easy. You don't eat here if you're seeking a memorable, quality meal. We got salads and soups. Not the right menu choices at a burger joint but nonetheless it's the product we have to judge. The salads are just packaged salad mix and cut up chicken tenders from the frier. Not sure the tenders are homemade. Doubt it. The tortilla soup is just fatty. The burgers may be great, idk, but everything else seems like what you get in the freezer section.
(2)Mandy K.
My favorite lunch time burger. You get the station care special. Which is a burger fries and a drink for 9.75?! It's very small town diner and right on the square. Great place to catch up with friends especially when the weather is nice and you can sit out on the sidewalk. Owner typically walks around asking if everything is ok.
(5)Heather M.
This place is just ok. I was told they had the best hamburgers but I still think Hugo's in fayetteville beats this place hands down. Place is interesting but old and drafty. Food was overall pretty greasy.
(3)Alan J.
Not from this area, but the people we were visiting brought us here while touring the area. I had the classic burger with cheddar and freedom fries. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Great flavor and very satisfying. Fries were perfectly cooked and fresh too. Highly recommended.
(5)Rich P.
Friendly quick service and great food! I work right down the road, and this is my go to place
(4)S M.
Good little greasy spoon. Had breakfast, was good, but lived up to the greasy spoon moniker. A little pricey compared to other breakfast places. Had the breakfast special which is one egg, choice of meat, potato, and carb. I had scrambled egg, bacon, cheesy potatoes, and biscuits and gravy. Why not go all out, right? Cost was $7.20, and it came with coffee, so that was probably the best deal. Egg was cooked thin and was rubbery, potatoes were like a casserole and were awesome, probably because they were drowning in butter! Everything else was pretty solid. And fun down-home atmosphere. Worth a stop.
(3)Isela R.
I decided to not get a burger and try their meatloaf. I had it with brown gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Frozen TV dinners are more satisfying! It was terribly disappointing as their burgers are good. Why bother having something else on the menu if they don't make it just as delicious? The best I can say about it is that I managed to keep down what I did eat of it. If you're there, don't try anything else, just have a burger. The burgers my friends had were fine. Sigh... At least there are other meals to be had elsewhere tomorrow. Happy hunting!
(1)Karl B.
Was not impressed with the "best burger in NWA". The angus burger was greasy and made the bottom bun paper thin and fall apart. Not giving up. Will try the breakfast but I'll pass on the burgers in the future. The wait staff was very attentive for being slammed. Nice sidewalk seating too.
(3)Courtney S.
Been wanting to check this place out for years now. Went with my daughter and got a veggie chicken wrap w/o chicken, and some fries. I'm vegetarian, so there's not a whole lot on the menu without meat. They've got a veggie quesadilla too. The place is really cute!
(4)Dave Y.
Once was one of the best burger joints I've ever eaten at. WAS a must-visit when guests came from out of town. NOW the WORST food in NWA. Will never go back.
(1)Heather F.
Went here for the first time last night. It was ok, nothing special. I had the "Chicago Burger." The frustrating aspect of their menu is you order at the counter and look at a big menu board. They have 4-5 burgers that have names, such as the Chicago Burger, but it doesn't tell you what is on the. With only one register you feel like a jerk asking the order taker what is on each burger. I could tell the lady behind me was getting annoyed. As for the burger, it was a cheeseburger with Relish, Jalepenos, and a special sauce. I couldn't taste the Jalepenos or sauce, just the relish. The onion rings I got with it were ok. Just onion rings. I would go back, but not it won't be a place I would go often.
(3)Dashya K.
Good burgers and fries. Decent assortment of other foods too. Nice location on the square which is picturesque to a point (construction everywhere downtown) but staring at the bland square and people watching if you can grab a seat outside will do. Over priced though, very proud of their bland beef patties and normal assortment of toppings. Glad I tried it tough. Good enough, but nothing to eww and aww over.
(3)Dina E.
Awesome location, nice staff, good smashed burger, decent coleslaw (maybe a bit too much celery seed). I am going back to try their pies! They looked amazing.
(4)Bev B.
Morning breakfast for two. Food is exactly what is advertised and nothing more. Counter style ordering with table delivery, small operation, only two folks working. Bacon, egg and Swiss croissant was unremarkable. Breakfast special (egg over easy, hash browns, pancake and bacon) was cooked as ordered, although the hash browns were nearly cold and bland. Pancake was nice and fluffy. Average breakfast you could have anywhere is the bottom line.
(3)Chi W.
Best burger around. The pattie is thin and nicely browned and reasonably sized to be slightly larger than the bun. Service is fast casual style with seating inside and outside. My favorite has been Smash Burger's Jersey burger and this place is very close in terms of presentation and quality however the taste package at Smash can't be matched at station due to missing the key additions of sauce, fried onions, and blue cheese.. On my second visit to Station it was too cold to sit outside and I found they didn't have enough seating to accommodate the lunch crowd. Food was good and staff was friendly. Make it 3.5 stars :)
(3)Christopher A.
This is one of my favorite burger places to go to. The staff is friendly and the food comes out quick and in large portions. It is greasy,m bu they are Delicious. Along with the excellent burgers it is military friend for both former and current member just show your CAC or Retirement ID and get a nice discount, and if you come in uniform the meal is free. The restutant itself is a little cramp, but there is a friendly home environment, and has decent outdoor seating that is perfect in the spring.
(4)Jack M.
Two trips here while visiting. Great Pork Tenderloin! Huge, ginormous portion of very tender thin pork tenderloin with a great breading. The burgers say 'cooked to order,' but I would say they are cooked to someone who ordered yesterday... My Medium-rare burger was overly well done and luke warm, as was my friend's patty melt. Very average milk shake, that once I received my Pork Tenderloin that took up the platter, I wished I had skipped. Enjoyed dining outdoors, order inside at the counter & staff delivers to your table.
(4)Thomas P.
This place has been here forever and there is a reason why! They do classic burgers, hot dogs, and diner food at reasonable prices. Burgers are nicely cooked with a little crisp around the edges. On a recent trip, the lettuce didn't seem too fresh but nothing major. I had their classic burger with cole slaw and fried corn. Burger and fries were great while the coleslaw and corn was average. Wait staff was very attentive!
(3)Steve L.
Love this place. Unfortunately, if I ate here as much as I'd like to, I'd weigh 300+ pounds again. :-) The burgers are great - they feature an excellent sear/crust on the outside, are perfectly seasoned, and plenty juicy. While it may be tempting to go for one of the more complex offerings, I suggest keeping it simple - their cheese burger is phenomenal by itself. The mushroom and swiss is stellar, and for an over-the-top experience, add bacon - it's crispy, salty, and adds the perfect flavor boost. Just like Kris observed, I agree that the onion rings are overbattered, but I still find myself ordering them on occasion. The fries are decent, but don't compare to the burgers. The burgers really are the star. In full disclosure, I've also had their salad, which was surprisingly good, and I've had some of their dinner plates (meatloaf and other specials) - I've yet to be disappointed. It's great to see a local business continue to "make it" in the NWA environment, which seems to favor the same old tired chain restaurant that you can find anywhere. Support this local business and enjoy the food. You'll be glad you did!
(4)Christine B.
My honey and I were on a little one day getaway this Summer and ran over to Bentonville to check out Crystal Bridges. Thought, well we are in Bentonville, we should check out the WalMart Vistors Center. It was fun and we headed next door the The Filling Station Cafe for lunch. It was super busy, but moved along well. It's a quaint place, not fancy, but solid food and reasonable prices. I had a good burger and my hubby had the open faced sandwich, beef. The gravy was a little more stout than he anticipated, but other than that it was good. The staff was super friendly, even offering to fill our soda glasses during lunch. There were families, WalMart staffers, local workers and tourists it seemed. We'd check it out again if we were in the area.
(3)Sally L.
I've been to The Station twice now and both times the counter help was unfriendly, to the point that I was sorry we even walked in. Our waitress was very attentive and asked us about our meal several times -- but each time she ran off as I was trying to decide how to respond. So here's my response: the burgers are greasy and tasteless. The fries are frozen, not fresh. My husband tried them and said they weren't very good. He did have a nice breakfast there a few weeks ago, but twice bitten is enough for me - I won't be back.
(1)Erica C.
Before we even walked into Station Cafe, we were warmly greeted by whom I believe is the owner. The station cafe seems a little dinky but it reminded me of my favorite hole in the wall places in Austin, TX. The absolute best food come from where you least expect it. I ordered the Steak Burger as it was highly recommended. Let's take a juicy steak and put it on a bun. Genius. With A1 on the side and some dipping action and you have a burger that's to die for. It's so good I've been dreaming about my next visit ever since. The service was excellent and the owner came by to greet us personally and asked us about our food. On our way out, he said bye to us. I loved it.
(5)Don T.
Might want to show a little more friendly welcomes to guest .
(3)Steve H.
Nice place with character, but absolutely HORRID coffee, and our two ham and cheddar omelets didn't even match - one undercooked and one overcooked. At least they serve Luzianne teas... Hate to be so critical.. but with a few good tweaks, this place could be great.
(2)Harish C.
I was in bentonville last week on a business trip. We went to this place for lunch as our colleagues were high on this place. I have ordered a double steak burger with cheese and fries (Freedom Fries) which is nothing but double cheeseburger. They advertise within the restaurant that they have best burger and fries in town/county. The burger was decent nothing to rave about. It has an OK taste but greasy. The patties are huge though. The fries are a disappointment as they are fried little too long. They forgot to sprinkle some salt in it. The service is pretty good though. Overall an OK affair and not worth going back again for me.
(3)Timothy E.
Delicious! That's my one-word review. I have tried their steak burger and onion rings. I want to go back and try their double steak burger when I'm real hungry and possibly their french fries. They also have sandwiches and baked-potatoes which really open the possibilities for choosy menu people. I didn't realize that they had breakfast (pancakes...mmmmm) but I plan to return to try those also. I'll keep you posted!
(4)Billy C.
Eating at Station Cafe is a "Back To The Future" experience. Everyone that works at the restaurant is super friendly, including the owner who twice came by the table to thank us for coming. There are a couple Biff Henderson posse's tourturing a couple George McFly's with Lorainne and the girls at a different booth watching it all and laughing. Throw in some red & white check tableclothes coupled with a quaint "on the square" setting, the ambiance is straight Americana, Hollywood style. And the food backs it up. Angus steakburgers, fries, and a Dr. Pepper will run you about $8 and it's well worth it. The burger is very tasty and just the right amount. I'd equate it to a Steak & Shake type burger with much better meat and fresh toppings. In saying that, however, i dont want to give the impression it tastes that way...its much better! The fries are crispy and fresh cut and the homemade pies looked outstanding. If I wasn't there for business I would have gotten one of those slices of heavens but it just gives me something to look forward to next time!

After visiting Sam Walton's Five & Dime original store, I walked over to Station Cafe next door for some lunch. There were signs all over the place raving about the burgers. Not regularly a burger fan, I was pleasantly surprised.. The meat was tender, the buns were of higher quality, there were plenty of vegetables, and the side salad was a generous portion (no iceberg. lots of veggies). I felt a little uncomfortable seeing the whole "Freedom Fries" concept being pushed. I understand the restaurant theme is American Values, but as a society we should be moving forward and beyond this kind of diction. I also noticed a sign near the register saying something to the effect, "We treat tourists the same." Why wouldn't an established restaurant treat a tourist differently? A customer is a customer, no matter what. While I believe the management's heart might genuinely be in the right place, it shouldn't have to be announced like that. Overall, I I like that the cafe maintained a down to earth feel despite its location, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly. Not quite five star quality, but definitely a decent, local venue for lunch.
(4)Kris H.
The burgers at Station Cafe are fantastic. I love their patty melt, served on marble rye. I do NOT love the onion rings. They're overbattered or something, and I think the batter is also too sweet. Another thing I don't love? They call their fries "freedom fries," which has just always rubbed me the wrong way. Those two complains will certainly not stop me from coming to Station Cafe for lunch whenever I'm on the square.
(3)Adam P.
If you have every felt like you want to go back in time and eat a really good burger while doing so, and you find yourself in Bentonville, Arkansas, you must go the the Station Cafe. This place is definitely old school, the checkered red and white tablecloths, the vintage decor, heck, even many of the customers looks like they are from the 50's. The first time I went with the burger, which is what they are known for, and it was excellent. Later I was introduced to what they call the super dog wrap, which is a quarter pound hotdog with chilie, cheese, and what seems like coleslaw all wrapped in a pesto tortilla, and I haven't looked back. My gastrointestinal system isn't as enthusiastic about this menu item though. They get pretty busy at lunch, but the service is great. One thing I really like is the staff, who aren't even technically servers, randomly, offer to refill your drinks even though the pop is completely self service. Ahh, its the little things in life, huh?
(4)Dale N.
REDONK steakburgers are what you should expect at The Filling Station Cafe, located in the Bentonville square. They're massive, meaty, and greasy, and indescribably tasty, which is exactly what you'd want and expect to see on your plate in this charming, old-school joint. The fries are also quite good, but you'll be coming back for the burger. If you're brave, double up on the patties and cheese -- it's massive, and you'll feel fat for days, but it's delicious.

Great burgers! And for me it stops there. They serve a 50's diner style breakfast and very greasy. I've tried the chicken strips and they were nothing special. They have a great looking salad, but I've never had it, because everything I tried other than their burger was mediocre so I just quit trying. If you want a really good burger (and their shakes are good too) go to the station. If you want something else, perhaps you should go elsewhere.

If you visit this old standby caf in the old downtown you will find it has awesome burgers, fries and milkshakes all made by hand with chuck stake that is ground on site. However, I recently discovered, thanks Heather, that they serve a killer breakfast. All fresh made to order and the blueberry pancakes are to die for!!!!!!!

Best Steak Burger I have ever eaten. It needs nothing added. They bring it to your table and you can just start eating. The grill in the place makes a perfect angus steak burger. They have a web site with a menu. stationcafeinc.com They also accept fax and call in orders. Calling ahead is recommended. They have more more than burgers. They have a very full menu and no doubt will have something for everyone in your party.
