I've been here twice now on trips up to the Rogers area. Another great meal with great BBQ flavor. I can't wait until my next visit!

Really good BBQ! with good service and prices. The sides such as their Fried Pickles, Mac n Cheese and desserts really makes this a must stop for me.

I don't know if this was the location we ate at but this chain is pretty good. We're here for work and decided to get some local food. Anyways, you get so much food! Take a look at my pics. But everything is so fattening and not good for you. I was going to get green beans as a side but it's fried in bacon fat. I think the healthier sides include the salad and the baked potato with everything on the side. I've been there twice already on both trips to AR. Yummy!

I am on a tour across the country for 3.5 months and one of my favorite things to do is find good BBQ! This is, without a doubt, one of the best places that I've found! I had the 3 Meat dinner (I chose chicken, brisket, & pork loin) with my 2 sides being green beans & black-eyed peas. All the meats were totally tender and the sides were just like Momma used to make! The black-eyed peas needed a little salt, but better to let it be added than have too much to begin with! The portion was sizable enough that I have lunch for today!! I did have a hard time finding the menu online though, but that could have been "user-error", ha! Smokin' Joe's is worth the visit!!

I had lunch here today. The food was good, probably a 3+. The rolls were to die for! The meat was good, but not great. The brisket almost tasted if it came out of an oven rather than a smoker. Nevertheless, I rate this place a 4 for the very friendly service I received and the place seemed very clean. I did have some onion rings, and those were good, too!!

I have tried to hop in here for lunch twice only to be denied by a massive crowd. This time around I came into town around 3:30 and headed straight to Smokin Joe's for some bbq eatin'. Outside of Smokin Joe's is a nice smoke house where they smoke all of their meats. When you roll up out of the car the smell of smoked meats pulls you right through the front door. I went with the two meat/two side action and got the ribs and brisket with beans and Mac N Cheese. Topped it off with a tasty sweet tea. Thre are four different bbq sauces you can lather your meats up with -regular, smokehouse, KC and spicy. The service was great and choosing what to order on the menu was a huge issue for me. There are about 12 other items I intend to try if I get a chance.

It's a lunch spot for me when I visit b'ville. Usually stick to the pulled pork, but my friend loves their daily specials if it's the meatapalooza platter. Good stuff... Inexpensive... Decent service.

Down in walmart country was this little place. The bbq was really good and the had three diffrent sauces that all where really tasty. Was about ten minutes from walmart home office. The ribs we're good and the sides were awesome. Really cheap as well, good customer service, what more could you ask for? Sam himself would approve .

Had the ribs, and they were great! The rub was so good that you didn't need any sauce. Coleslaw was a really nice find. The service was friendly and down to earth.

The mac and cheese was watery and looked/tasted like velveeta. Brisket was worth 2 bites then was thrown away because it is just lack luster. The positive side is that everyone was friendly and helpful.

We live in Arizona. Good BBQ places are not common. More often than not, we end of going to Famous Dave's, which is good but pricey for what you get, still a 40 minute drive away, and it has a big chain feel. Since we were in Arkansas, we needed REAL BBQ. WE considered a few places but the others didn't have sides we liked. My mother-in-law recommended Smokin' Joe's Ribhouse. Atmosphere: Cozy and pleasant. The place was busy at a Monday lunch but not crowded. Service: Fantastic. Our server was young and enthusiastic. The food: Oh my goodness. My husband ordered the 16 ounce chicken fried steak. It was crowned with mashed potatoes and gravy. He ordered fried okra as a side and the meal included a roll. The food filled up a platter. He declared this to be the best chicken fried steak he's ever had in a restaurant. The coating was perfect, the meat well-cooked. He declared everything to be perfect, actually. I ordered the BBQ plate with pulled pork, fried okra, and green beans. It was a lot of food for $10! A lot more for the money than Famous Dave's, that's for sure. The pulled pork was delicious and tender, and was rendered into perfectly chunks. The sauce was awesome. The fried okra was crisp as it should be. The green beans were soft and good, complete with little pieces of bacon mixed in. I'm a bread snob, and I was delighted with my roll. You can tell they drop the yeast pieces into a muffin pan and let it rise--the rolls aren't uniform at all, and are soft and tender. I couldn't eat all of my pork. If I'd been at home, I would have packed away half the meat for fantastic leftovers. Alas, we were headed to the airport immediately after our meal. I already told my mother-in-law that on our next visit there, we demand a return to Smokin' Joe's Ribhouse. And hey, if the restaurant wants to expand to the west side of Phoenix, we're in desperate need of some good BBQ and chicken fried steak out here. Just sayin'.

Not a huge fan of the whole american diner thing, way too much colour and cheesiness in this place. From the bright red seating and table tops to the tie-dye tshirts the waitresses wore. So they were friendly none the less and definitely not hippies so that was my first worry out the way. I don't think they did beer on tap so not a great start. This place was recommended by a few folks for having the best bbq ribs in town so our expectations were high. I ordered the beef ribs with chicken combo and everyone else went for some brisket type thing. The food was very quick and everything came out at the same time but that is where for me personally things went downhill. The chicken leg was nasty, like it had been cooked the day before and I was just given leftovers which were bbq again. The skin was burnt and crispy and the meat had no taste to it. The ribs were slightly better but nothing to write home about, and although nobody else ordered chicken with their brisket, none were super impressed and left with a big fat meh!

Great bbq food and a larger menu than traditional places that have meats, sides and drinks. Be wary of coming with a group over 15 as they took over an hour to bring food out. And paying took over 20 minutes and made us late to our event. They need to be more sensitive to our time and add that second cashier person to keep our overall trip under two hours. Otherwise a great place.

My first visit to Arkansas definitely needed to have a barbecue meal included. Heard of this place and was very impressed. I had the four rib platter which included two sides and a delicious honey drizzled roll for $12.95. In the NorthEast this meal would have been at least $19.95. You also know you're in the south when your side salad has chopped ham on it. Three different choices of barbecue sauce and multiple choices for sides, this place is definitely a winner. No alcohol served but that leaves extra room for food!

Decent barbecue joint with sit-down service. I applaud the attentiveness and hospitality of the staff, but the BBQ is just okay. Perhaps the menu here tries to cater to everybody (burgers, fried foods, sandwiches) which is why the smoked meat isn't given the attention it deserves. I opted to go with 3 meat combo: sliced brisket, pork loin and pulled pork, which came with a choice of 2 sides and a roll. They also dressed my meats with peppers, fresh onion and sauce. The pulled pork here is plainer and drier than other BBQ joints in town; the pork loin is also what one might expect of a pork chop coming out of an oven. The lean brisket had hints of smoke and flavor (mostly in what bark was left) but was drowned out by sauce. Wild beans were nothing more than regular baked beans spiced up by the addition of hot sausage, while the potato salad straddled the fence, balanced between mustard and mayo. Fresh kitchen preparations seem to be more successful here. The deep fried mushrooms were hand-tossed in an in-house seasoned batter that complemented the huge button caps. Had I known this going in, I would have opted for something cooked to order at Smokin Joe's. Rush hour tends to make this restaurant a little inaccessible, so best to avoid the lunch and dinner crowd. The dining room has a theme that little trainmasters would enjoy: so great for families and groups.

Fantastic BBQ! Myself & a friend got the 3 meat platter with ribs, spicy sausage, & brisket. My friend's husband got half a rack of ribs. We couldn't finish it all. Ribs were melt in your mouth delicious. Sausage was juicy and flavorful. Brisket was just ok according to my friend, I never got to it myself, was too full from the other stuff. The spicy bbq sauce was my favorite of the 3 on the table. My husband ordered the smoked prime rib. Oh. My. Goodness. Amazing!!! Rolls were homemade. Macaroni & Cheese side was divine. Loved that the waitress told us which sides were house made & which ones were not. Prices were great, especially considering that we easily each will get 2 meals out of our dinners.

A good little rib joint, they may have other foods also, I am just not sure why. Their ribs are so good! The sides average and service was okay also. If you looking for ribs this should be your place.

We stopped for a late lunch after enjoying the nearby Native American museum (fabulous by the way) and were glad that we stumbled into this place, once a gas station which means the restrooms are on the outside. I liked my pulled pork sandwich, although I only ate the pork since the bun was pretty well soaked through with grease. Sides of cole slaw and fried okra were good. He liked his sliced brisket and sliced pork combo along with sides of wild beans and baked potato salad. Thumbs up to quick and friendly service.

Smokin' Joe's has smokin' good barbeque. You probably already know that. I like this particular restaurant because it has better than average service. Nice clean place too. I thought I knew all about this place but I learned something new this trip. They had a sign by the door advertising a smoked prime rib special. I love prime rib but I also have it super rare. Rare as you have is my usual order. Obviously smoked is not going to be anywhere near rare. I decided the special price for a 16 ounce prime rib was rare enough and I ordered it. And now I know prime rib doesn't have to be rare to be good. Great? Wonderful? I'm drooling while I try to think of a word to describe the tenderness, the flavor, the pure joy in every bite. I have eaten prime rib in a lot of pretty classy and sometimes famous places and I will absolutely guarantee that I've never had better at any price. I have moved Smokin' Joe's way up my dance card for the future.

Seat yer own darn self. A solid 3.5 stars. Simple no frills bbq joint. Find a seat, sit down, waitress will find you and take your order. I had ribs, pulled pork, and sausage with mashed potatoes and fried okra on the side. Yes I'm a fatty. Ribs were tasty, not quite fall off the bone, but pretty darn close. Good dry rub, and the ribs are massive here. Could be mistaken for a dino rib. Pulled pork was good too, moist and tender with good bbq sauce on top. The sausage was really good, gobbled that up pretty quickly (insert joke here). The fried okra and mashed potatoes were pretty standard fare,no complaints here. As far as portions go, I'm from the south, so its standard protocol for me, but others not from the south find the portions rather large, so just take that into consideration. Just look around at the other plates if you're not sure whether you want 4 or 6 ribs. Or you could be a man and just order 6. Just sayin. Service was fast, quick, and friendly. Price wasn't bad either, I think I walked out paying about 10 bucks for a pretty decent plate of food that soon put me on the fast track to a food coma.

I really love not only eating here but also the smell when I drive by in the morning. Smoked meats is a great way to start the day. The servers are also super friendly. No complaints at all, great BBQ.

I really want to give this place more than 3 stars but I can't. The atmosphere is a solid down home BBQ joint which is great. Friendly and attentive service. The food is where this place lacks. The menu has too many items. They need to stick to tried and true good BBQ. Instead they try to please everyone on the menu and in turn please very few. As someone else stated the Mac n cheese was watery. Not a good start. The pulled pork was good although a tad dry as more than likely its been sitting out for awhile. Others had the London beef sandwich which was flavorless. Why a BBQ place even attempts this boggles the mind. My advice is to find a BBQ chef and stick to the basics. As of now this place isn't worth a second visit.

After eating here many more times since my original review, I add 2 stars and recommend all of their locations to anyone whos stomach is growling.
