Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

as for the food: delicious. I do not count myself as a lover of Hispanic cuisine, however, the authenticity of the dishes I've had here (beef fajitas, cheese enchiladas, tacos, and nachos) stand apart from the numerous restaurants in Northwest Arkansas serving the Hispanic community. regarding the customer centered service: nothing short of world class. despite the fact that we visited during a very business lunch rush hour,i realized i couldn't find my car keys when i walked outside to leave.. i approached the guy running the show (unfortunately i never got his name) and asked him if he could help. he dropped everything and assisted me. unfortunately, we didn't find the keys. a couple hours later i decided to call and ask if the keys had been found. No such luck. fast-forward 9 hours. Every night, they move every booth and table to clean the floors beneath. (a practice, i can assure as someone who spent a good deal of their career as a health inspector is NOT the norm!) During this process they discovered my keys.Despite the late hour and what i am sure was a need to "call it a day" the owner/operator took the time to find my number using caller id and to let me know he found my keys, and would have them for me when i got there. Stellar. I do not review frequently on Yelp. However, if a business, like Las Palmas on N Walton which to me has demonstrated they care enough of their customers to go the extra mile to provide exemplary service and consistently fantastic food, then my time spent in front of my computer on a Friday night is well spent.

Consistently great Mexican food! Chicken enchiladas, fajitas, great drinks! Fair prices, friendly service.

Best Mexican Food in NW Arkansas. I'm from Southern CA and love good Mexican food. It is really difficult to find here in NWA. There are many Mexican food places that are acceptable, but they don't taste anything like the Mexican food I grew up with. Las Palmas has extremely fast service and I think the prices are very fair. It is still not the exact same if you grew up in California, Nevada, Arizona, etc. but the food is the freshest and closest to CA Mexican I have found. They have decent margaritas and Mexican Beer on tap. It is my go to Mexican in Bentonville.

The service was very slow. It took nearly 20 minutes to be served. I ordered chicken fajitas and was unimpressed. The majority of my plate was rice and beans with just a teaspoon of pico and guacamole. The hot salsa is medium at best.

Awesome food! Beans are fantastic! Just the right taste. I'm from AZ and have missed the Sonoran flavor. This isn't Sonoran, but it is full of flavor. The food is fresh, the guacamole is awesome, very impressed.

Great fajitas! It's your standard tex-mex place. They're a dime a dozen around here. This one is just a little better then the others.

I have enjoyed Las Palmas in downtown Rogers for many years. So happy they have moved into Bentonville. Great service tonight which on a Monday was not super busy but the parking lot has been packed on the weekends. My husband and I shared fajitas for two-chicken and beef tonight. It was great. Some places give you what we like to call "squirrely meat"-little slivers you have to dig in the veggies to find. Not here-they basically take chicken breast and steak and slice it in nice big strips. Great flavor. I didn't have to ask for extra tortilla's or chips or salsa, they waitress was very attentive. Fajitas for two could be fajitas for four and so reasonably priced. I brought a lot home to have for lunch tomorrow. Several restaurants have come and gone in this location but I have a feeling Las Palmas is here to stay. Should have their liquor license soon I hope.

First time we went it was delish! Second time it was so-so...felt a little dirty. Third time---the place smelled like a broken sewer line. Hard to eat or drink with the smell radiating throughout.
