This is the Western Sizzlin God goes to when he wants a steak. Instead of a menu they have four LCD TVs showing pricing and little promo video pieces advertising their latest specials. The salad bar is nicer than freakin' Ruby Tuesday's. They even have pre-made CAESAR SALAD on the bar. The atmosphere is amazing. It is so clean you could make microchips in there. I am somewhat of an expert on Sizzlin's and I was completely blown away by this one. Never seen anything like it. And the kicker: Every single waitress was attractive. (I did not think this was possible in Benton.) It is impossible to overstate the greatness of this place. Next to the Arlington, this is the most overwhelming restaurant I've ever been to. I will be back ...and with my camera.

I went to this restaurant on a Monday evening with my family. I would probably never com back again. First impressions the place looks old and need some updates. Secondly the variety and quality of the buffet is not worth the price. I ordered full buffet and my wife ordered some steak and also full buffet.. We both ended up leaving disappointed. I am not a big salad person so I cannot say anything about salad bar but it did not look very impressive either. The waitress picked up the plates twice and then she never came back to pick up the plates that were pulling up so we had to clean them up and get them organized so we have place to eat for the kids and ourselves. Few things I did like about the place kids ate for free under 3 years old. One star for that and the other star for the groupon discount and the deserts they were good at least few of them. Overall with my experience not worth the full price buy the groupon and save some money if you have not tried this place yet.

I haven't been to a western sizzlin since I was a kid and this will be the last time I ever do. I got an 8 oz sirloin with the buffet and my daughter got only the buffet. The salad part of the buffet was actually good and the best part of my meal. The sirloin was mediocre at best and I could cook better at home. It came with a side of sweet potato which had some kind of black bubbly charred junk on it, from the oven I'm guessing. My daughter got the chicken and catfish from the buffet. The chicken she spit out of her mouth and said it was terrible, I thought she was exaggerating but I did the same thing when I tried it. All of the food was of the lowest quality and preparedness. You can tell that even as a buffet no one cared how the food was cooked. Everything was so hit and miss with nothing being really good. On top of this I just can not comprehend the setup of this restaurant that you have to order like a fast food place up front and then find your own place to sit and then when you do there are tvs at every table. This is a family restaurant, why be distracted from my family with a tv at the table, I can do that at home. With better steaks literally around the corner and better buffets so close I can see no reason to ever consider this restaurant.

Used to be good but the TVs at every table is a huge turn off to this place. Just a sad decision by the owners to cater to people who don't have the ability to go five minutes without a TV or something else to entertain them. Food is still good but the atmosphere is a bit trashy feeling now.

We were excited to find a Western Sizzlin still in our area. This one is great. The food bar that comes with the meal has fresh salad items and delicious hot items. Sometimes I make a meal of the food bar. Tonight I'm getting a steak with my salad! The service is prompt and friendly and the steaks are reasonably priced. (The baked potatoes are truly BAKED!) just like I remembered.

I used to love to go to this restaurant. Now the food is not as good as it used to be. I have a Benton address but still recommend Texas Roadhouse on S Shackleford Rd in Little Rock.

I love this Western Sizzlin. It has a very good food bar, very good steaks, and the service is consistently great. We have 2 little kids, ages 2 & 4, that make eating out a nightmare most of the time. This place is wonderful, though. The food bar has cheese dip, great fried fish, very good fried chicken, and lots of vegetables to choose from. It is nice to be able to sit down and have a steak served and to be able to keep your kids occupied from go with the food bar. All of that convenience the value of being able to feed my family of 4 (3 steaks, 4 food bars, 4 waters) for under 50 dollars and it is a no brainer.

What is wrong with you people. Ok, the salad bar was decent, I didnt even mind the frozen chopped eggs they had. Also the fried catfish was decent. Thats it. If u want to go to an all you can eat place and eat salad and fried catfish, this is the restaurant for you. Do yourself a favor and wait 20 minutes for a table at coltons next door. Also, the waitresses were really nice. I hope they get decent jobs somewhere else.

All you can eat fried, slathered and sweet. Salad bar was full and the fried catfish was pretty good. Avoid the "hashbrowns", aka chunked baked potato. Wtf were those corn fritter things?!?

I went with a friend to eat here for dinner before going to see a play. They had some nice LCD screens with the menu but we both opted for the buffet. Unfortunately the guy rung up both of our orders together even though we stated separate checks. When we said separate checks he didn't fix it, but offered us 15% discount. I don't understand why he couldn't just cancel the order and ring it up again. I had to go up to the counter again to ask for silverware (the station was OUT). I spoke to the same guy, but at this time, the line to order was way long and he said there were some knives and forks over here (meaning I would have to walk though zillions of people to get to the silverware). He didn't comprehend why I would not come over there (I would have been trampled to death). Finally a waitress gave me some. Anyhoo, I was unhappy with the buffet selections. Not enough different types of meat or much of anything else. Ryan's does a whole lot better with their buffets than this place. They need several more stations with a better selection.
