Hot and fresh. Good flavor. Perfect bread. Pasta salad good, potato salad bland. Well, it took me many years, but I finally made the effort to stop by for lunch when I saw they had a reuben sandwich as a special menu item. I have to say, it was one of the better reubens I've had. The bread was perfectly toasted and the meat was flavorful, but could have been a bit more tender. However that's common with a reuben sandwich. The sauerkraut was delicious as was the dressing. A meal comes with two side items and I opted for pasta salad and potato salad. The pasta salad was very tasty and I enjoyed it thoroughly, however the potato salad was a bit bland and I doubt I'll have it as a side again when I next visit. I'm basing this review off of a single visit and a sandwich that isn't a regular menu item, so in the future my opinion may change once I sample more of their menu. Until then I can definitely recommend Subs-N-You for a quick lunch, whether dine-in or takeout.

I have to agree with Russ ,but this place used to be the bomb. Now it's nasty and the food is not great. I just think they don't care anymore.

The sandwiches are very good, especially the hot roast beef, and the soups are also good. The counter help is indifferent almost to the point of rudeness. Call ahead and pick up to minimize interaction. Open only for lunch.

I've been coming here for a while now, and while I could get a sandwich anywhere, I come here for the fast and courteous service. I am always greeted with a smiling face when I walk in the door, and my order is taken very quickly. The cook seems to put his heart and soul into the sandwiches and it shows. They have daily specials but I will typically stick to the same selection because it is so amazing. I have been told that the cheeseburger sub (only available on Friday) is heavenly. One thing that sets this establishment apart from others is the table service that the waitress provides, it really is superior to other places around town.

Very skimpy with everything. .When there open. I normally park there..and have Jimmy John's deliver to the door of my truck.

The best sandwich in Tuscaloosa. Locally owned, hand made, and full of flavor. Get the hot roast beef or the chicken salad sub. Unless it's Friday, when you have to get the cheeseburger sub.

I do not give 1 star reviews lightly, but this is a slam dunk 1 star. The food was ok (2 stars). But, being treated incredibly rudely takes away even the moderate quality of the food. I asked for my sandwich w/no cheese, when it came to the counter, the lady called out "special w/no tomato" looking directly at me. I replied that I had asked for no cheese. At this point this is certainly no big deal, mistakes happen, etc... But, I was greeted with a big sigh and exaggerated rolling eyes. I mean my 13 year old daughter doesn't roll HER eyes with that much ummph. When my re-done sandwich was done she slammed it on the counter announcing "special with NO CHEESE". I don't need a gushy, over the top apology but, a bit of niceness would help. I just do not like being treated this way. Apparently from other Yelp review this is common...
