Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I saw that look of hesitation as I asked the employee to give me 10 more scoops of fajita. It was so amazing. I don't think she realizes how amazing it is and how I could just eat this vegetable for days. The food, service, and interior are all fantastic. I didn't have a problem with anyone and I was out of here in less than 5 minutes.

Chipotle is a decent, fast food Mexican option. I love that you can make it semi-healthy with options like sofritas (tofu) and vegetable only burritos or bowls. The rice is excellently flavored. I think the portion sizes are a little too big...which some people would love. I happen to think that's the problem with America though :). I got a burrito and it weighed about 3 pounds. Needless to say, I had 2 meals worth of leftovers. The chips and guacamole are a good little snack, but I had to give Chipotle 3 stars because I'm a fatty and I want some queso dip with my Mexican, which they don't offer. Get with it Chipotle!

This is the worst Chipotle I've ever been to. Every time I try to order my usual burrito bowl, they are ALWAYS out of something... One time it was mild salsa, today it was guacamole. I didn't know they were out of guac until the very end of the process, and I was pretty much forced to buy the burrito bowl that I didn't want anymore. It is also the dirtiest Chipotle I've ever seen. The food line was an absolute mess, and there was food and trash on almost all of the tables. There were also no forks or straws at the soda fountain. I love Chipotle so much, but I'm making the switch to Moe's Southwest Grill after being disappointed time after time at the Tuscaloosa Chipotle.

Yesterday wasn't the most pleasant time to drive an hour your nearest chipotle. The air conditioning was out so waiting in line and ordering food was like being sauna, so we sat at the table right next to the bathrooms and it made my experience a little better considering it was as hot. But 4 stars because the steak was tougher than I remember.

Hands down, worst Chipotle I've ever had. The shortage of avocados, Izze sodas and ICE are forgivable but the inedible steak (I couldn't even chew it), apathetic employees and filthy bathroom were NOT. #firstworldproblems but seriously, this location needs to step it up.

Not as good as some other chipotles, but this one is decent. A little cold in the restaurant so if it's the winter, bring a jacket.

Employees are kinda rude working the line the cooks will always look up and smile... But the food is always so good! Only thing I don't like is if you get the burrito bowl to go and want the hot sauce that's by the straws lid and sodas then you have to take the lid off the container and it's not an easy thing to do getting it back on. Should have easier to go containers. I learned to just ask for an extra side cup. A good quick lunch to grab though!

I've been to at least 20 Chipotle locations, this one (which was closest to my Alabama apartment) was by far the worst- because of service alone. I love Chipotle and crave it about once a week, and this location had such awful service (employees with nasty attitudes) it deterred my business. I always left there swearing never again. It's also painfully slow for a buffet-line style restaurant. You will never get in and out in less than 10 minutes. Not every employee was nasty- the friendliest were the cooks making rice, getting yelled at by the grumpy jerks on the front line. I wish I had complained to the management, who knows how many other customers feel the same way. The food was still delicious!

I've been to a dozen Chipotles around the nation and stopped here on a road trip through. Slowest Chipotle ever! The guy at the register is taking 5 minutes per group and the ladies in the back are more interested in talking than doing their prep work. Guess this is what you get in Alabama...

Delicious as all Chipotle's are, of course. Gets really busy around peak hours with long lines, but still relatively fast. One time they "ran out" of chicken (it wasn't even busy) and acted like it was impossible for them to make anymore (it was around 2pm so not like it was near closing time). One girl was extremelyyyyy rude to me and to my surprise, a coworker witnessed and not only made me the chicken burrito I desired but also comped it! Generally the staff are pretty nice, but I've returned since the above incident and the same girl was working, and was rude to me again! (visibly rolling eyes when I asked for a side of guacamole) I've seen her be unfriendly to other customers as well, so I know it isn't a personal vendetta towards me.

I love Chipotle in general but went today and the staff were openly fighting in front of customers and the chicken was burnt and really dry. Not the best Chipotle I've been to.

y'all -- those pork carnitas. OMG.

I actually like their food. I found myself going back for the chicken quesadillas and burritos. They are fast and I like them.

I love the fact that it's "healthy" Mexican food! :-D The service was fast and the food fresh. Just how I like it when I'm grabbing lunch to go!

I love the Barbacoa burrito! So good for such a good price. Their food is so fresh that it makes Moe's look like cafeteria food. Their guacamole is the best you can buy.

For Tuscaloosa, this is one of the better fast, yet relatively healthy options in town. I've never experienced a line longer than 2 or 3 minutes here. People are always friendly. Place is very clean, has nice outside seating as well. Parking is very easy as well. Chipotle in my opinion is a step up from Moe's because of the better flavors, and their commitment to natural raised meats, etc.

Chipotle, Moe's, Q'doba...they all start seeming pretty similar after a while. The atmosphere of this Chipotle is very different from both the Moe's locations in T-town with its stainless, modern look and feel. The food was good--chips and salsa, enormous burritos--but nothing really jumped out to me as particularly differentiated.
