We like to eat here at least once a month. My favorites are the smoked wings, smoked turkey, Thanksgiving sandwich, and pulled pork bbq. The collard greens and cornbread are pretty fantastic too.

After eating at the Moe's in Panama City Beach, we decided to try this location before heading back to California. It may not have been quite as good as the one in PCB, but it's still stellar BBQ We will definitely return

I can't believe no one has reviewed this place! It's easily my favorite place in Trussville. I love everything I've ever had there, and their sweet tea is amazing. Their banana pudding is a lite different, but it's super yummy! My favorite is when they have the BBQ quesadilla on special, but their bama style BBQ sandwich is a good bet, too!

Pricey and just meh. BBQ was mediocre, service was mediocre, sides were actually pretty horrible. We had BBQ sandwiches and they were filled with gristle. Probably won't be back.

The first time I ate at Moe's in Trussville was shortly after their Grand opening. To be honest, the experience left me unimpressed. The food was lacking in flavor and the Bar-B-Q was poorly cooked. Last week, I decided to give them another try. I was very impressed with the food and the service was great. My lunch was a BBQ all white meat chicken sandwich. The BBQ had a very smokey flavor and the bun was toasted to keep it from becoming soggy. My next visit to Moe's was later the same week for a family dinner. The sweet ladies at the counter recommended the family meal, usually a take-out item that the offered to serve in house. Her recommendation, ultimately saved us over 15.00. They brought it all to the table "family style" and I served everyone. Made me feel a little less guilty about not serving a home cooked meal. I must say there Banana Pudding was very different from the normal banana pudding served in the south. It had a whipped like texture and had a hint of fresh vanilla bean. This is offered as a side item, so you can get a meal with two sides and include desert as a side! The kids really enjoyed it and so did I. My husband even went back today and got the Redneck Nachos, he was highly impressed with the pork. I really enjoy their fries, just crispy enough and not greasy. Overall the restaurant is very clean and the food is great. Many improvements have been made since our first visit. I would have given them 5 stars but there are a few improvements that need to be made to the decor and to the bathrooms. The dinning room is fairly small and would not be good for large groups of 6 or more. Parking is also an issue if they are crowded. We will definitely be back.

Not bad, but I prefer Jim n Nicks if I'm going to have BBQ.

Love love the chicken sandwich. The fried green tomatoes are great. Cornbread is like a slice of sweet cake. Staff is always friendly. Small portions for a southern bbq restaurant but probably what they are suppose to be.

No frills little Mom N Pop type BBQ place. A little short on atmosphere, but they more than make up for it with the food. Awesome home-cooked style food, and lots of it. Order at the counter and they bring it to your table fast. The only place I've seen that has Cheerwine soda! My new favorite soft drink! Can't wait to go back.

I love this Moe's! Their smoked wings are so good! They come with red ranch dipping sauce that's fantastic, cornbread and a side, too. The mac and cheese is pretty good but can sometimes be dry on off days. My husband and I eat here at least once a month and have never been disappointed. I get the smoked chicken sandwich with the white and red bbq sauces and it is one of the best BBQ chicken sandwiches by far. The sweet tea is always fresh and not overly sweet, which I love. Also reasonably priced. In my opinion, it's better and much cheaper than Jim and Nick's, and you don't have to tip a waiter. You can't go wrong with that!

Very good, authentic menu. Pulled pork sandwich was piled high & delicious. Collard greens and broccoli casserole did not disappoint. Totally satisfied.

I like that this BBQ place has sandwiches with slaw on them. At other places, I have to order a seperate side of slaw to spoon some on my sandwich. You can also get them without slaw. You get a sandwich and 2 sides and a drink for $9 + tax. The sandwich is huge. The sides not so much but the bbq is the showcase. I'm not a fan of their banana pudding. It's just a boxed pudding with cool whip and a nilla wafer. Didn't really taste like bananas. More like vanilla. I do like their cobbler but they don't have them all the time. And the Mississippi mud was just chocolate pudding.

Love their food. I personally think its a good portion size at right price. Only complaint is they need to put a little more sauce on the BBQ. It doesn'y have to swim in sauce but I atleast want to be able to taste it. Other wise, my family is adding it to the "places to eat out" list!
