I've only dined here once recently while on a road-trip with family. While the primary attraction appears to be the buffet, they do have a menu to select 'to-order' items, as we were informed by our waitress. We were going to do the buffet but my party decided that we were really in more of a hamburger mood at the time. Our waitress informed us that their hamburgers were freshly hand-made to order and that the fries were hand-cut as well. So, we ordered the burgers. We were not disappointed. The hamburgers and fries were both delicious. I've thought of them many times since and will probably have a hard time trying the buffet because I'll be so tempted to have another burger. By the way, the burgers are also conveniently available in small or large. I might increase my rating if I ever actually get to try the buffet and find it to my liking as well.

The buffet was really good, the service was also excellent. One of my favorites on the buffet was the fried chicken. I will definitely be back.

I'm not in the area often, but when I am, I ALWAYS dine at Stagecoach. Stagecoach is Southern cooking at its best. Everything is amazingly good - just like your grandmother would prepare it! Their biscuits are my favorite.

The Phrases "Delicious", "Mmmmmm", and " I'm stuffed!" were invented here. The service is great, everyone you see is kind and welcoming. Who wouldn't be in a great mood at this charming Buffet.

About 3 miles off of I-65 Stockton Exit, this restaurant is well worth the short detour. Their southern food is delicious and fresh, even off the buffet. They serve seafood and steak (we didn't get either), but their fried chicken, gravy and rice, fried okra, beans, and desserts were delicious. Buffet is affordable and worth it. After a week in New Orleans, it was nice to finally get some sweet tea with lunch. Locals definitely eat here. Not for those who are easily offended by frequent displays of religion.

Six Stars! The BEST home cooking among the friendliest townsfolk in America! We followed our instincts and a previous Yelp review and left well fed and smiling. I think the attitude at Stagecoach Cafe was contagious! Driving home from Auburn after our LSU tigers beat the hometown favorites, and we were still treated like family! What a place! We will return!!!

Excellent food. Not usually too keen on a buffet but this one does it right. Biscuits are unbelievable, pork chops were perfect. Will definitely make this a must stop on the way to Mobile every time.

I loved this spot! They have a little of everything, which is very convenient. What type of food are you in the mood for? Steak, seafood, or soul? Don't worry, this place has it all! The service is hands down amazing! They are more like family adding fun to the family experience! We all enjoyed this spot! Happy tummies and great smiles from a wonderful all around experience! See you all again soon!

Overall tasty southern goodness. The staff was fun and very attentive with us as well as the regulars. The server recommended the fried chicken tenders and she was right! They do offer a buffet for lunch in a old stagecoach waggon which looked cute. But I suggest ordering from the menu because our chicken was hot and fresh.

We never have a clue how we stumble upon places like this. There's nothing like good ole southern cuisine. We discovered this place while looking for breakfast on our way back from Mobile and I must say they didn't disappoint. The food was amazing. I had an egg, grits, & made from scratch biscuits. These were nothing like your store bought biscuits, they were almost cornbread texture. They were amazing & then I tried my coworkers pancakes & they were the way my good ole aunt cooked them in skillet of crisco. It had that crispy feel on the outside and warm soft feel in the inside! The first time a restaurant has made those type of pancakes like that from my experiences. An extremely delicious place. We'll be back next year & the prices are low!

The opening times on this place are variable depending on the day of the week. Call ahead before you drive off the interstate into the Alabama backwater.

I have dined at stagecoach three times and I guess the first two times, by chance, lunched on a Friday. I was really impressed the fish, it was delicious, homemade fries, homemade coleslaw and other great items. Today I dined on a Monday and regret it. I thoroughly enjoy the home made fixins: french fries, coleslaw, vegetables, etc. Today everything was canned and warmed except for some kind of can corn that was fried in a skillet. The main meat items was fried chicken, baked chicken, roast beef all school cafeteria quality. So do I recommend stagecoach? , absolutely yes! just not on Mondays. I was told below is the following typical schedule a buffet items: Monday: avoid Tuesday: pork chops, hamburger steak Wednesday: fried shrimp Thursday: salmon patties Friday: fried fish Another bad report: the buffet table lights were out and you really couldn't see your food. The cleanliness of the store could be dramatically improved; replace the ceiling tiles please. What worries me when I go to a restaurant and the customers seating area is dirty, my mind starts to wonder what's behind the kitchen walls....... Oh I almost forgot you have to try the buttermilk pie! That one item is almost worth the price of the buffet.
