Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

It's the only Mexican restaurant in town. It's tex mex with flavor. Okay atmosphere, it isn't as good as the tex mex in the big city's but the food is good. Prices range from $5-8 for a burrito and enchilada, Most of the time is A/C is turned off and is very hot with only a couple fans on.

The best Mexican food in the area! Great atmosphere, great service and good food. I have been multiple times and have yet to find something I don't like.

Very nice place. I appears to be a chain and we try to stay clear from chains but oh well. Nothing in particular to mention about the chips and salsa... Just regular nothing special. We ordered soft drinks and the sever made sure we always had plenty available. I had #22 and my husband had #1 lunch specials. Mine was a chicken and cheese enchilada with beans and rice. Very good: the chicken was real chicken and cut up in big chunks, fresh. The cheese was great - I have had some cheese at Mexican places that is so overpowering that it wasn't good. This was perfect. I requested verdes sauce rather than the reg red sauce and it was no problem. In fact I asked if I could taste their verdes sauce before I ordered and our server brought me some. I paid $1.35 for some yummy cheese sauce on the side which I felt was a good deal. My husbands plate was a taco, chalupa, enchilada and burrito and the chalupa (I thought it was a tostado) had a huge glob of guacamole to where he really couldn't even scrape it off. It was a lot for someone that liked guacamole. It was also runny and if I eat guacamole I like it chunky where I can see the ingredients. That's just me. And this was not the fault of restaurant as my husband didn't tell them no guacamole although I don't think it was mentioned on the menu. Taco shell nice and crunchy. My husband did not care for the enchilada sauce on the burrito and enchilada. Comfortable booths and clean place. They have a patio but it's so hot no one is sitting outside. Pets are not allowed on the patio which is disappointing. With the last sentence we probably won't be back just because we like to support restaurants that do allow dogs on the patio.

Slow. Took 15 minutes to get a drink order and another hour to get our food. Hostess was snippy, but our server did a very nice job trying to make up for the poor delivery time on food and drink. She also did a good job explaining the differences between the sauces on the enchiladas.

Wow. For standard Tex-Mex this place is the next level. We don't fool ourselves thinking that the kitchen is full of little Mexican grandmas cranking out hand-rolled enchiladas from their secret recipes, but this place might make you wonder. The meats were juicy and full of flavor and even the obligatory refried beans and rice taste better than the other chains around town. We'll definitely be back when we need some Mex comfort food.

Chips were stale. Salsa was not great. My wife's chicken fajitas were awful and cooked in BBQ sauce. My sons food was not good. My shrimp quesadillas were not bad once they got my order right. The overall food is my complaint, the Service was quick and good other than my order was not right the first time.
