I normally really like steak n shake, but lately this location seems to be run entirely by 17 year olds. We came in and waited to be seated and all 8 teen staff just stared at us and kept talking, not saying hello or anything. SEVERAL MINUTES LATER a group of (I guess) their friends came in and the staff fell all over themselves to hug and seat them. We left, very agitated. I would not suggest going on a wednesday night when an adult manager is obviously not there.

Maybe it's because I'm from California (we only have 2 in our state and they're too far from me) but I loved this place. I first saw it on a road trip to Montana but we didn't stop. Came to Montgomery for my sister's graduation and saw it again so we had to stop. I LOVED IT. We have places that offer different flavored shakes but nothing like this place. I had the Oreo mint cookie one and it was AMAZING. I love the cheap menu too. I wasn't starving so I just ordered the $3.99 chicken tenders and they were perfect. The chicken was very juicy. And the shoe string fries were delicious too. I sampled a burger and although the patties are thin, they're really flavorful. I can't remember our waiters name (sorry - I think it was LaShaun?) he was sooooo nice. I told him we were coming back Saturday morning for my birthday and he said he'd take care of us. We need more steak and shakes in Cali!!!

I was very impressed with our waiter who came by multiple time to make sure our drinks were never empty and we didn't need anything. Our order was taken within 5 minutes of getting there and our food came out fairly quick. The entranceway has a bad odor to it, but overall the joint is clean.

It would be nice to actually have gotten waited on. But after a 10 minute wait to be seated, and then after another 20 minutes of sitting there, we left. I spoke with the MOD, but that moron just shrugged his shoulders when I told them we hadn't been waited on at all. We won't be back.. the staff and management obviously don't care about their customers at all...

Food was ok. There was nothing special to rave about. The service was very good. Out hostess and server both were very friendly and attentive. The one thing that you can never go wrong with is the milkshakes. That is probably the best thing on the menu.

Every Christmas season I fight a losing battle of the bulge, part of the problem are the delicious seasonal shakes at Steak 'n Shake, my favorite being the White Chocolate. Num num num. I mowed it down faster than a redneck can load a shotgun! Merry Christmas ya'll!!!

Jalapeno Crunch is the new item on the menu and it was delish! The staff here is very friendly. Our waitress was not overly friendly at first, but she improved as our meal went on. She was also very good about bringing extra sauce and shakes to go for dessert. The bathroom was clean. The speed of service was par.

Service started off a bit slow, but the waiter was very attentive and nice. Food was typical Steak New Shake. I'm addicted to the chili 5 way and cheese fries. Yum! If I'm ever in the area again. I will definitely return.
