Brittney was our server and she was great. Wait time wasn't bad at all, a little over ten minutes for two people. I had Grandpa's Heart Attack Breakfast (not really called that but it's a butt-ton of food) and it was awesome even though my chicken fried chicken (See!) looked a little dry. Food didn't take too long either. This wasn't my first visit to a CB, but 1st time to this one. I would go back!

should have gotten the country fried steak instead of the cheeseburger. Love that stuff there.

Never fails to disappoint. Although I tried a few items off of the dinner & lunch menu, I prefer breakfast. I order the same thing all the time. I guess I'm not that adventurous lol. I always get the sunrise sampler which is grits, fried apples, biscuits & gravy, hash brown casserole, 2 eggs (which I add cheese), & a sampling of sausage, bacon & ham. Always on point. People I been there with have gotten pancakes & French toast & it's been pretty bomb too. Basically anything on the breakfast menu has never disappointed me but I stick to my usual. I love how they serve breakfast all day. Since there's a little gift shop there, if you had to wait, you could entertain yourself looking around. They always got interesting things there. The only thing I would say someone would need to look out for is that Cracker Barrel has some very friendly & diligent wait staff but also some that can kill it for everyone else. I've been here many times & a few times my waitress would have an attitude or whatever. I understand it's always very busy but I mean hello it's your job, you know what you signed up for & you're paid to be there. However, here have been plenty more times where I really liked who was serving me. I recommend this place for breakfast 100%. Although I don't usually hear complaints from other people on the lunch & dinner either. *2 thumbs up!*

I wanted to really like this place! And in all honestly I would give it 3.5 stars because the service and ambience was purely awesome. I ordered a burger and I had high hopes for it. I asked for medium well, just a little bit of pink. Ended up getting pure rare. So most of the burger wasn't worth the risk for me. Everyone else enjoyed their food so I guess I was the odd ball out. However I ordered fudge coke cola cake and it was a great ending to a sub par lunch! I will give them another try and will hope for a more satisfying outcome.

The last few weeks, I'd been doing a few long drives. It's about four hours from Charlotte to Atlanta and I was doing a round trip. One of the super things that Cracker Barrel offers is a Book-on-DVD program. I've done this a few times and it makes the miles whiz past. I finally finished my DVD - "W is for Wasted" - and popped into this Cracker Barrel to turn it back in for the credit. Fast, easy, efficient. Just the way it should be. No, I didn't get anything to eat today.

Worst service of my life. If you are on a road trip do not stop here unless you are looking for an hour+ off the road.

We arrived at lunchtime on Saturday and the restaurant was very busy. After only a twelve minute wait we were seated. Liz, our waitress, was very friendly and took our order promptly. I had the country fried steak with mashed potatoes, corn and carrots. Everything was delicious. Thanks Liz!

Food and device was good. Restrooms were disgusting. Dirty and smelled of urine. Such a shame that this was nasty...pure laziness.

We stopped here after driving 13 hours at 7 in the morning. Lots of cars outside but not many people in the joint. I had egg whites with ham and wheat toast. It was all good. Not great. Just good. The coffee was good. The service was good. Everything was just good. Prices are super cheap. Kids had pancakes and like them.

Terrible service.I ordered the country fried Steak without gravy and they still put gravy On it.I sent it back and they scraped the gravy off and fried it again. They turned the steak over hoping I would not see the giant burnt spot on the bottom. Then I had to go to the kitchen to return my food again to get a employee's attention. Then the rude manager walked by and put the plate in front of me and walked off without apology. My server said she'll get me a refill and never came back. Terrible experience won't come back.

Don't get me wrong,if I was just rating this place on food it would have easily gotten four stars but because of the hit or miss service I'm giving it a three. Went there today for lunch and our waitress looked less than thrilled to be there. It took her literally EIGHT MINUTES to come get our drink order. Every time she came to our table it was really awkward because she was just so sour. She finally warned up when we were leaving. Hopefully we won't have her again!

Do not Dine here.... The wife and I were visiting her mother in Millbrook, helping her paint her new kitchen. After several long days and eating mostly sandwiches, I was hell bent on some comfort food....meatloaf to be precise...and several people mentioned the Cracker Barrel in Pratville. My brother in law said their meatloaf was outstanding. We were seated promptly as there were not too many diners. However, we sat for ten minutes waiting for one of the three waiters in our section to welcome us and ask about our drink order. I had to reach out to a passing waiter who sent someone else. She took our drink order....and another person (I think a manager) stopped by to apologize for the time it took for our drink order to be taken. No problem really...I was completely focused on devouring my meatloaf dinner soon. THEN IT HAPPENED: (I should say....bad things can and do happen in the food service industry....but when it happens to you............. that does not make things any easier).... we were finally served our meal....and I took a bite of green beans and then had my meatloaf loaded up on my fork when my wife yelled out "STOP". She then said "put your fork down" and pointed to a small plate that contained 4 tiny corn meal muffins. On that plate........was a cooked cockroach. We both spit our food into our napkins...and called our server back. The server literally yelled "OMG", then proceeded to grab the plate and run into the back...and she was never to be seen again. We waited two minutes, then decided no manager was coming, so we left our table, and walked back to the hostess stand to wait some more. Again....no manager. We had to explain what happened to several employees...the last of which simply told us "you can feel free to go....there is no charge".....and so we left. half sick at our stomachs...and half mad for the lack of Management to ever step up. Still not sure which I am more mad about. the swift damage control from the sever to remove the plate and vanish thereafter....or no Manager ever coming to our aid. On a bright note.......we drove to the nearby Longhorn....and the service and our steaks were outstanding. * out of respect for readers, I opted not to post the picture we took.

We stop here on our annual vacations to FL. Food is always good and the service friendly. Has some of the nicest wait staff We've found. One gal, who goes by Ms. Tracy, was probably the friendliest waitress I've ever had. It can get quite crowded during the morning rush. If you can put the stereotype that only geriatric people eat here aside, Cracker Barrel offers a good value for the dollar. And as far as Cracker Barrels go, this one is the best one I've ever been to. We go here every year on our drive down to Florida to vacation. The food is always good and the service friendly. This location has some of the nicest wait staff of any restaurant we've found. We always get a friendly, smiling face when we eat here. One gal, who goes by Ms. Tracy, was probably the friendliest waitress that I've ever talked to. You could tell she truly enjoyed her job and went out of her way to make sure we were completely satisfied with our meal. Be aware that Saturday mornings here can be very chaotic but that has never affected the quality of our meal. If you live in the area or are just passing by on the interstate, I would highly recommend coming here.

Had a piece of ham that tasted rotten. Told the server who attentively told the female manager (Judy) on duty who just stood there and looked at us. She didn't come to apologize for the food. The server was very good, but management was very poor.

Tried to go here twice in the last week for lunch and there was a 30 minute wait both times. You should probably be prepared to wait a while if you choose to stay. Could this just be a ploy to keep you in the gift shop area? You decide.

Biscuits. Ham. Cheesy hash browns. Deliciously decedent southern food. Silly impulse items in the Old Country Store. I'm sorry for judging the name for so many years. The chefs put the crack in Cracker Barrel.
