As far as your typical chain steak houses go, this is my favorite. Not only are the steaks great, but the rolls, green beans, and sweet potato make for an amazing meal. I've heard the salmon is excellent as well. My personal favorite is the sirloin. Lean, great taste, and an even better deal. Better prices and better quality than Outback and Longhorn. And don't even try to compare it to Logan's.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat because I had time to kill before a meeting. Found a seat at the bar. Must say, I was alarmed that patrons were able to smoke inside at the bar area. Luckily, my seat was far from the 2 smokers. And i definitely didn't let that stop me from enjoying this delicious meal. The rolls and cinnamon butter were great and can really get you in trouble if you aren't careful. I enjoyed the blossom for my starter. It's was hot, crisp, and delicious! Then i enjoyed the sirloin steak medium with grilled shrimp. Food was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I will definitely be going back soon!
The past several times we have dined here the steaks have been over cooked. Major let down as you can imagine especially since today was special cause it was my husband's Birthday. We never complain because we try not to be those people. But my complaint today is primarily the manager Brittany Razor, she needs to receive customer service training. I have been in customer service for 20yrs and she is the worst manager i have ever experienced. We explained about our over cooked steaks today and how this has been an issue that last few times we have gone there. She instead of being truly sympathetic to our experience, she proceeded to give excuses that the cook is still traing and how she tries to keep an eye on him, but she is overwhelmed bouncing back and fourth since she had two people call in. Ok, customer service 101: The average customer drops $50-$100 or more to eat there. They want their steak cooked right and don't care about your problems. Obviously she cannot handle the pressure. We weren't looking for any kind of discount or anything, but she didn't even offer to do anything. Thanks to Brittany, you just lost our business.

My steak was tough and dry. Probably because it was over cooked. Also, salad never showed up and my unsweet tea was incredibly sweet. Bad service. Never even got rolls. No big deal, I don't eat bread...but everyone else with me would've liked those. Probably wont ever go back. Will stick w local places instead of chain restaurants. To top it off we got to enjoy smelling cigarette smoke in the non smoking section. Disgusting. Waste of $$$

After hearing this place being compared with Logan's Roadhouse I was very unenthusiastic but let me tell you, after trying it.. Sure this place is comparable with a Logan's as far as food goes.. but the difference is the service and the quality of the food. At Texas Roadhouse the food wasn't burnt, wasn't dried out and the service wasn't lacking, other than getting our ticket when we had finished. The lemon-pepper salmon, which I ordered, was in fact slightly undercooked, but not to the point where I would have to send it back. It was very good and very tasty. As for the sides I had the "fresh vegetables" which can be seen in the picture and included steamed broccoli and carrots. My other side was the green beans, which were cooked along with bacon and were very delicious. As for the service, the waitress we had always made me laugh, she was pretty cool and kept insisting that we ordered an alcoholic beverage. As in one of us ordered coffee and she said a coffee with kahlua, got it.. and when I ordered water she said the well was dry and offered an alcoholic drink instead. I enjoy when someone can make me laugh without doing it only for a larger tip. She had personality. I am only knocking off a star for the slightly undercooked salmon and the long wait for our check at the end of the meal. This visit was very enjoyable and the food was great, I am a fan of Texas Roadhouse.

Walked in and places a to go order for an app, and 2 grilled salads. I asked how long it would take, said 10-20 minutes, actually took about 35 minutes. It was ok.

Sat at the bar. Service was terrible. Bartenders more worried about stocking the bar than taking care of customers. Appetizer was burnt the first time. Second try came with the main course. Didn't even offer to comp for the mess up. Luckily not all locations are this bad.

'MURCA!!!! Seriously, this place is the epitome of all things American. I love it for its tasty rolls and sweet, cinnamon butter they walk you to your table with. For the peanuts you can eat anywhere and throw the shells all over the floor. For the massive amounts of red meat (STEAK!) I can order. The 100% tasteful decorations throughout the whole restaurant highlighting the finer things, people, and places of life. And I just love all the good ol' folk that work here, and come to eat here. I wish it wasn't all the way down in Pelham, but by golly you can get some whopping food portions from here that will make the drive worth it. Everything's bigger...! The country fried chicken was good, just a bit thin. Get the red meat. Chili cheese fries, yeehaw! Green beans, way too flavorful to be healthy for you, but oh so tasty. Caesar salad, pretty good. I can't help but smile about our great country, and the people in it about 90% of the time I'm in here.

This place was way better than the average Lone Star or Outback. The grilled shrimp actually tasted like shrimp. Great BBQ sauce. Overall very enjoyable and would go back!

Was contemplating where to get a steak for dinner last Friday night on my way home from work, and remembered someone at my work said the Texas Roadhouse in Pelham was good. Got there before the rush and am glad I did because it was prom night. One thing I cannot get used to in Pelham is that some restaurants have smoking sections. This Texas Roadhouse did. TR is a chain but that is not a bad thing. Service was very good, my wiatress was very nice and was constantly checking to make sure everything was ok. They have peanuts on the table for appetizers as well as cinnamon glazed dinner rolls, which were excellent. I got the NY Strip with Ceaser salad and Fries. I know, high rollin with fries. Salad was great, lots of garlic and big. Steak came out and I asked for Medium Rare, and it was. I should have asked for Medium but that was on me. Steak was great and I had to take about 1/3 of it home. Nice place just the smoking was the only downer.

Had heard about their national award-winning meat cutter. At 4:00 PM on Saturday, Oct. 5th, we were seated immediately and announced (truthfully) that we were first time time visitors and received a complementary cup of their red chili - a little salty, but very good. Up front were yeasty rolls, excellent, not too buttery (greasy) as some restaurants do. The usual shelled peanuts were on the table. Our server, Ashleigh, was well versed and an excellent staff member. The sports bar/Texas Roadhouse theme very well met the local football afternoon. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The draft beer was cold and my wife's wine was good and fairly priced. We ordered salads, steaks, and baked potatoes. The salad was excellent - very fresh (romaine, not iceburg) with shredded cheese, homemade croutons, eggs, and nice tomatoes - the best we'd had in a chain property as a side salad. The baked potato was salt-crusted, very good, and could be "loaded if desired." My Ft. Worth ribeye was perfectly medium rare. My wife's medium well filet was a little rarer, and they picked it up and re-grilled it and brought another baked potato, delivered by the manager with apologies for the problem with the meat, and left us a free appetizer coupon for our next visit. Everyone around us seemed happy with their experience - lotsa smiles. Total bill - $45.00 We will definitely come here again. Note: Come before 5:00 PM if you want quick seating and good parking spaces.

Great place for a steak meal on a budget! If you want a good steak but don't want to spend hundreds than you can go here with confidence. Highly recommend it if you want a decent, well priced steak cooked and served exactly like you request. Plus you get free peanuts and rolls with cinnamon butter and have a full bar. I live nearby, so have eaten here many times when not wanting to spend much on a nice meal and all the food I have tried is great, lively atmosphere with usually quick service.

The food is always fantastic. Try the grilled salmon, loaded mashed potatoes, and the green beans. They also have excellent ribs that you can literally eat with a fork. The service is mediocre at best, but we now go into it not expecting much. I wish the whole restaurant was non smoking. No matter where you sit, you choke from the smoke at the bar which is in the middle of the restaurant. At least the food is great, and prices are pretty reasonable.

Where should I start. Let's see. Sat down and waited 15min before we finally flagged someone down, who begrudgingly got us our drinks. Then my wife's drink had to be requested after 10 more min of waiting. Spoke with manager who offered us appetizer that showed up 15 min later. No offer to refill drinks without us pleading. Folks who came in 20 min after had their meals before we received our appetizer, which by the way was just dry chicken strips posing as boneless buffalo wings. The steaks were not cooked correctly and just tasted like a bland piece of meat. I shudder every time I drive by this restaurant and see that it has not closed down.

I love this place. THIS PLACE ROCKS The steaks are great. I typically get the 11 oz Sirloin. The Ribs are fall off the bone. But the sauce is a bit spicy just a little. But I love it. The Country Fried Chicken is always tender and juicy. The BBQ Port plate is fabulous. I love their chili. The wait staff works in teams so you rarely have to wait for anything. The management walks around and checks on everyone The price isn't cheap but it also isn't break the bank. What I would say is you get a great value for your money with the quality of the food you get and the portion sizes. If I was to change anything. The one and only thing I would change is to have more Table Seating. Most of the seating is booth seating and I'm just not so comfortable in Booths. They do have a couple tables but they are typically there for larger parties. But again all in all this place ROCKS.

Absolutely the best anything bbq anywhere. They always cook everything to perfection from the sides to the ribs, steaks, and their awesome blossom. I drive 45 just to get a steak here. I can't go anywhere else for one after having a TR steak. Great service and prices too.

We came here for the first time on a Saturday night with some friends. They offered us free bowls of chili for being new customers plus we got an onion bloom using a coupon I got when signing up for email offers. Plus you get rolls! Our waitress was wonderful, entertaining, and on top of it! The onion bloom is not quite as seasoned as Outback but the size for the price was way better than Outback. The heat level of the chili was pretty mild for our spicy tastes but it had a great chili flavor. I ordered the half chicken with green beans and a Caesar salad. It was all delicious. The chicken was so moist and full of flavor. The portion of this entrée was more than I could eat so I had enough for another meal. My husband ordered the 23 oz Porterhouse with a loaded baked potato and salad. He thought it was very good and well prepared. Our friends also enjoyed their meals as well. Overall it was a wonderful experience and there's no doubt we will return. The quality of service and food we received is far superior to some other steakhouses we've visited and the portion sizes for the price is extremely reasonable.
