Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

On a busy Friday night we were seated right away and had our drink and appetizer order taken almost immediately by a very pleasant server. Our main dishes came out before we could finish the appetizer. They were all tasty and piping hot. We enjoyed the meal and good service!

Just finished their $6.99 all you can eat soup, salad, and breadsticks. Very good and now I'm stuffed even though I skipped the bread. Had the soup with the potatoes (I forget the name). Mmm.

Don't get catering. They will fight you and it won't be pretty. My school organization ordered lasagna, chicken alfredo, salad, and bread rolls. When we picked up our order and brought it back, we were left with only a small tray of chicken Alfredo, salad, and more bread rolls than Panera Bread. They left out the lasagna and all the dressing for the salad. We had to drive back to Olive Garden and when we had told them they left out the lasagna and the dressing, they said we never ordered it even though the receipt showed they had charged us for it. From what I was told, the manager reluctantly had the lasagna made for us. I'm not sure why a restaurant would be reluctant to make something we ordered and charged us for. That speaks volumes about their service. The food was delicious. The lasagna was the best part with its chunky cheese and delicious marinara, but the dilemma put a delay on our meeting. Twenty starving students makes twenty very unhappy students.

The salads was kinda salty, especially for the rusks. Fresh garlic rolls taste good. I ordered the Tour of Italy. It's not really good for the Lasagna and noodle. The chicken is better. Environment looks like a upscale place. Good place for dating or meeting with important guests. Not recommend for family and friends eating.

I ordered Shrimp Caprese and when I started cutting off shrimp tails, I noticed that there were already cut-off shrimp tails in the bottom of the bowl. I also noticed that some of the shrimp were pale like they had been cooked and some of the shrimp had been grilled. That is when I realized that Olive Garden had re-served me someone else's leftovers! I have never been so sick in my life. I reported it to the manager - that guy is a joke and the Health Department is not much better. Unless you want to eat what someone else left behind I strongly suggest that you eat somewhere else. If possible, I would give them 0 stars.

This place is the pits. It's not real Italian food, the service is deplorable, and this one is not consistent with other Olive Gardens. I love the zuppa Toscana, but the greens are literally falling apart. This is not the case for the Olive Garden in Oxnard, California. The waitresses consistently forget what you asked them and get orders wrong. I've tried three times here, and the soup was consistently bad. The saving grace is the tiramisu.
