We've pretty much made this the place to get our ribs when it's summer holiday season. The ribs are always tender and tasty that you don't even need the barbecue sauce they give you. Their smoked chicken wings are also good. Just bought 3 slabs yesterday for 4th of July and as usual the ribs were right on and pretty much made my day! I think this place it totally underrated in town when it comes to barbecue.

I picked up a carry out order today of ribs + wings. For $11 you get 3 big rib bones. Very tender and smoky, served with sauce on the side if you like. The ribs are pretty fantastic. The meal also came served with 5 chicken wings. The wings, while just a little on the small side, are also quite juicy and smoky, exactly how you'd expect them. Also served dry with your choice of sauce on the side (BBQ, Buffalo, or ranch). I chose Buffalo, which was a good choice. Two sides come with the meal combo making this meal a great deal for $11. I simply couldn't finish it all. The ladies who served me were very nice! I'll definitely be back!

I really don't understand how this place has four stars on yelp. Tuscaloosa really needs to move the bar higher on their standards on food. I don't even mind that a place looks like a dive as long as the food is good. Can't anyone make something original anymore?? I ordered the large bbq sandwich which included two sides. I am so tired of the cheap buns or sliced bread, that isn't even grilled, given with BBQ. Does anyone realize that the bread can lift up a crappy sandwich? The over sauced meat in between the boring bead was more like a sloppy joe. The macaroni and cheese looked like it came out of a can and tasted just as good as it looked. Was any part of that real cheese??? The potato salad came from the same bulk can as the macaroni and cheese. If any of this food was hand made....you fooled me!! I promise I won't be back here.

This is the second or third time we gotten the ribs here and it's really good. Beans and slaw made a great dinner. We called ahead and picked it up. They're very friendly and we really enjoy the food. We had the sandwich before and it's good too but once I had the ribs that was it for me.

I am only basing this off the BBQ pork. I have not tried anything else here. My aunt picked up the pork for a family gathering and it was delicious. It had a wonderful flavor, was super tender, and moist. Even if it's the only thing I've had, that's really all you need to be good at a BBQ joint right? OK, maybe not but I still felt they deserved a good review.

Simply the best pulled pork BBQ in the Tuscaloosa/Northport area. This is a small family owned and operated restaurant. Always friendly. Large portions. Some of the best onion rings I've ever had. Potato salad is great. The ONLY eating establishment I've ever been to that receives 100 score from the health department EVERY inspection! Their sign is kind of small. Look for it to the left of the HUGE sign for Los Tarascos Restaurant.
