Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Our first time at a Salsarita's. Facility was well laid out and clean. We were there just prior to the lunch crowd on a Monday. Staff was patient and explained how things worked for us. I would describe it as a "Subway-type" setup but for Mexican food. Licenced, with a little bar off to the side. There was lots of guac available, which was good as we're fans. Fast, reasonable price, and the soda fountain had free refills. We'll likely be back when in the area.

Great fresh food. Decor v.good. background music not overpowering latin. Service pleasant and helpful.

I have enjoyed Salsaritas for quite sometime and I want to let others know has good it is. The ingredients are always fresh-fresh made salsas, fresh made guacamole and fresh made chips. Every day someone gets there early and cooks the meat and shrimp for the day. The restaurant is always clean and service is quick. I am glad I found this place. I hope you find it too!

I love this place. It is a Mexican style restaurant with a made to order assembly line type of set up similar to Moes. Everything is so fresh. Great ingredients. And very fast. I love that they have different types of salsa and a true hot salsa. Great guacamole. I eat here a couple of times a week. As good as if not better than any restaurant of its type but with a lower price point. The restaurant is always clean as are the bathrooms. I don't know why this place isn't busier. Must be the location.

Heard so much about this place especially from the kids teacher. We decided to try it even without reading the views. Place was empty, although this was most likely due to it being between the lunch and dinner rushes. The staff said hello, but I had to ask them where the line started. They mainly have burritos, tacos, quesadillas, taco salads and a "mexican pizza". you can get any of these with pork, beef, or chicken with a $1.50 add for shrimp. Be careful when mixing these components. I asked for two beef and shrimp tacos and got one beef and one shrimp, so pay attention. The food was good and the ingredients looked and tasted fresh which was a plus. But that communication issue with the tacos and the other that came when they charged a good bit to make a taco salad a combo and it was for chips and a drink. I think if this was explained a little better, I may not have had an issue with it, but there wasn't a calming about it when talking with the staff. I just gave in and gave them the money. That is NOT the feeling I would like when I finish paying for food. I may try them one more time just because the food is good, but I'm not just going to be breaking down their door to get in. I'd much rather eat at Chipotle or even Moe's. Just saying.

I hadn't been here in a while and after coming today I remember why. Not only does the owner lack personality and is not very welcoming but they are sooooooo darn stingy with the meat, add-ons, and even the chips!!! I've never seen anything like it. So unlike Moe's and Chipotle where they're extremely generous and you get your money's worth. Seriously disappointing...Don't waste your time nor money.

Bad! You are in the area and think about stopping don't! Just keep going. The food is bland and the meat is dry. I guess some may think the food is acceptable in a town where your options are very limited (e.g. no Chipotle). The people working here lack personality and hospitality. I ordered a taco combo and they charged me an extra $1.25 for a couple pieces of bell pepper on top. Not a good deal! They didn't inform me that it would be extra when I ordered and I had to ask for a receipt. When I alerted the manager she became hostile. She lacked professionalism and managerial skills! There is an abundance (compared to other ethnic cuisines) of Mexican food in Montgomery. Salsaritas is just another one of those. The ingredients are fresh and the food is prepared very quickly, perfect for a bite before a movie at the Rave. Having pizza on the menu does weird me a bit since it isn't quite "Mexican".

I had my first ever salsarita experience the other day for lunch. Loved it! We showed up shortly before they opened, but the staff accommodated us and opened their doors early! Setup is a lot like moe's, qdoba, or chipotle. It was clean and bright inside. I got the daily special (bare burrito--minus tortilla), didn't expect much and was pleasantly surprised! The ingredients were fresh and yummy, service quick, and prices good ($6 for a big plate of food and a drink). I wasn't charged for guac...huge plus! I didn't quite find Jesus in my burrito, but salsaritas is very comparable to the previously mentioned burrito joints. Definitely recommend this place!
